noob ota and bootloader question
Right, i have rotted my zenfone 2. i want the ota. so i unroot and all i get is the brokwn android dude. i heard about a rom that is very similar to asus ui. i am not going cyanogen mod or pure. i like the asus look. where is the place to find the noob info on unlocking bootloader or just to gwt the ota sorted. this doing my head. thank you. i am runing the 4gb 32gig 1.8. ze551ml vervison. please some link me

I'd firstly like to state I am new to the forums, and give my thanks to brilliant people who give guys like me somewhere to turn. Now, my question is, is it possible to downgrade from MM PJ1 to OGG or OJ1 or lollipop in general. I've seen a similiar thread about a UAE version or somethung that said it was possible. I have successfully downgraded a Note 3 from lollipop to kitkat, which has locked bootloader too if I'm correct..?, but I would like to have any input before I do this as it is my main phone. Thanks!

So in theory, i could downgrade to Lollipop and use the kernal auto-root to possibly get rotot? I just got an HTC 10 so I'm really itching to mess around with that s6 Edge Plus. Lol.
I have a Nexus 7 2013. It is running Android version 6.0.1, the August 5,2016 security patch, and build number MOB30X. I have been searching and looking for a guide to root. Most of what I have found is before August 5,2016. I haven't messed with Root since my Note 3. I am hoping someone can help guide me in the right direction. I am wanting to try new roms with my Nexus 7 since google is no longer updating it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Just install twrp and flash super su and you should be good
I need to root me S& active and it does not look like 7.0 will be able to be rooted anytime soon.... so is there anyway I can revert back to 6.0.1 my phone is new and has 7.0 on it (just purchased 2 weeks ago) So I am assuming I need to flash the whole PK2 firmware... does anyone know where a link is to the full download to it?

Confirmed working, and was able to switch from 7.0 back to 6.0.1 then back to 7.0 and then back to 6.0.1

Has anyone found the 6.0.1 firmware for this phone? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I also really need this firmware as i'm bricked, Every link I can find has failed me. It seems to have either expired or been removed.

Do you know if it will brick if I downgrade the firmware? Its on Nougat and dont want to risk having a paper weight.
I'm currently testing this one. Got S7 Active on 7.0 trying to downgrade to 6.0.1 to root. Link I have posted above was pointing to 6.0.1 firmware. First attempt to downgrade failed so far. S7 Active survived so far.
I'll be testing further after work.

Hi. I'm back. Took me a while, like 3 hours to get this one right, but I have managed to root S7 Active on Android 7.0 by following guide from the Russian site. I'd help if anyone is willing to root on 7.0

I'm looking for a Custom Rom for my European S9. I wan't to root the stock firmware but there are to many issues. So I'm looking for a custom ROM with root(or easy to root). And I need a step by step tutorial to install the ROM. I've read that can not be done like the old days, when I rooted my last S7 edge. It was in 3 minutes fixed. Can anybody help me please. The root is the main reason.
