EinCar or Henhaoro Android Head Unit - Connected Car

Hi All,
I have looking for an Android head unit for some time. Judging by the research I have done Ownice and Joying seem to be the most popular with the most support.
My problem though is Amazon does not offer shipping for these products to my location.
Based on my location, the only 8-core units which ship, are the two listed below:
Eincar:
"Latest Andorid 7.1 Double Din Car Stereo Octa Core Car CD DVD Player In Dash GPS Navigation with 6.2” HD Touchscreen Support Bluetooth/WiFi/USB/SD/AM/FM/Video out/Subwoofer/Backup Camera Input"
And Henhaoro:
"Henhaoro Android car stereo 7.1 Octa Core 2G 32G 7" In Dash 2 Din Gps Navigation Player receiver Touch Screen Radio Head Unit (2018 Henhaoro A7 series)"
Sorry, I can not post links yet, those are the product titles on amazon.
Does any one have experience with these two models?
Is there any support for them?
What are your general recommendations?
I am leaning towards the Henhaoro for the physical dial which the Eincar lacks.
Thanks

Yes i have one i thought it was expensive but it works well with the supplied aerial mounted across the top of the windscreen
Thanks,
I can find many DVB-T boxes in the market which are supposed to work also at high speed but how can I know if they support touch operation?

Does it work when the car is actually moving? Because alot of people complain these dvb T2 boxes won't work even at low speed.

Well I haven't noticed a problem when driving slow only data break-up in rural areas as with any tuner. I've just downloaded the updated DAB+ app today and it looks a lot more user friendly
Awesome can't wait to test on my ownice C500 when I receive it

Is it fast? does the screen / unit get too hot?
I supposed the hardware is the same on other units just changes the car fitting.
Thanks.
Joao.

Dasaita PX5 0cta Core 4gb/32gb

Hey peeps, I'm looking at biting the bullet on a 9" Dasaita PX5 4gb/32gb head unit for my Subaru Forester.
It is replacing the stock Nav unit which has fuel consumption data among other things.
I'm wondering if I will be able to use an app like Torque tools to see that data over the existing Canbus connection or do I need to use a Bluetooth odb2 plug or something along those lines?
If I do have to use an odb2 plug can I connect my phone via Bluetooth at same time? Any advice or suggestions on Android head unit model choice and Dasaita reviews would be appreciated.
9" Android 8.0 Car Radio GPS for Subaru Forester Navigation 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Head Unit 4G 32G Octa Core
Search it on AliExpress. I can't post links yet apparently
Hello, i dont have a Subaru while using a Dasaita HU. IMO, if you have a Canbus converter box, and it already show some car's info before on the original HU, it will show the same on your new HU.
Case of using odb2 connected by Bluetooth, you can even connect Bluetooth with your smartphone at the same time.

Vehicle specific or double din w/ adapter?

I've been lurking around here for about a month now, just trying to figure out what would work best. I came across Android head units and this forum while searching for something with built-in offline GPS navigation and is compatible with Apple CarPlay but I've now become intrigued by installing apps to the head unit itself.
I'm pretty familiar with Android but head units running Android are quite new to me and I'm frankly a bit overwhelmed. I'm happy to do more reading here and elsewhere, but I have to say I find it very difficult to get much out of the massive threads. I've appreciated the Hui Fei wiki posts but I still feel like there's a bunch I don't know, specifically the pros and cons of the different types of units and where to buy them.
So from what I've been able to find, the best option right now, especially if I want to do any sort of customizing or upgrading down the road (rooting and swapping out processor boards) is to get an MTCE unit, so that's what I've been looking for. I believe the ideal unit is:
Android 8.0+
Octa-Core PX5 (I'm not sure I'm patient enough to wait for the PX6 to actually arrive in units)
2GB+ RAM (preferably 4GB)
32GB+ Storage
IPS Display
Steering wheel control support
I have a 7th Gen Honda Accord (2005) with dual zone automatic climate control. That feature in particular makes it a little more difficult to replace the stock head unit because the climate controls are integrated into it. My options are to get a aftermarket unit that has climate controls built in or to get a dash kit (like the Metra 99-7803) that handles the climate control and just has a double din slot.
My hesitation with a vehicle specific unit is that they seem to be poorly supported, and I can't find a decent US based reseller (I'm not very comfortable with the support and return policies of the sellers on AliExpress I've found so far). Also, it seems to be difficult to find out if a unit is actually a MTCD/E unit before buying it. The downside of a dash kit is that they basically add another $200-$300, the units have smaller displays or stick out a ways from the dash, and they don't look nearly as good.
Are there any limitations of vehicle specific units or generic units that I should be aware of? What would you recommend?
