Hi i have a nexus lte version, and i just began flashing roms and kernels. I am currently on gummynex 0.4.7 with franco kernel #11 --I love customization but i think i prefer the best battery life possible. If this kind of thread has been created i apologize if i did not search enough. If you can re-direct me to the thread i'd appreciate it, if not what are your guys thoughts...because i find myself flashing everything.....
there are like 5 other threads asking this same question. read the other forums for more feedback because they have been populated with 2+ pages with suggestions.
my personal suggestion is AOKP build 15 + latest franco kernel
AOKP offers a "power saver" mode... the best battery tip i can tell you is to disable 4G LTE.. enable it when you really need the speed. LTE is a huge drain
Hey everyone!
I'm running wmjan's runnymede&bliss mix rom on my Desire, and I am having the problem that it seems to randomly and wildly kill processes.
Now I am wondering if I just haven't been able to figure out how to stop it from killing at least those processes that I personally want to be running (such as whatsapp, lookout, other news or messaging apps) or if anyone else has that problem.
I wold have posted right here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1382355 , but I'm still too much of a noob to do that
Thanks in advance for anything and everything helpful!

Moving to Q&A
HI All,
We are a bunch of graduate students at OSU who have developed an app which can be used to help users find the reason for battery drain.
We are fairly successful in testing our app in the past and we have recently upgraded our app to include much more sample space.
It would be very helpful if you guys can help us with the list of apps which you feel are draining your battery very fast.Secondly, we would like to help any new budding andriod app developer who would like some help to improve his app w.r.t battery drain, we would be more than happy to help to help him fix that part.
Expecting your favorable reply.
Regards,
Manoj.
1. how exactly would that functionality help you in your life?
2. what are specific examples of how the functionality would help you in your life?
