Try clean installation. And what error do you get when installing magisk? Try to remember, you might have done something to cause this problem.
I don't remember it bro.. it said magisk is not installed. Then I tried to install it through twrp but it didn't work.. how to clean install a rom??

Hi Guys
I'm with a problem. I installed Magisk a while ago and after my install Magisk just stopped working and it did not detect root (in Magisk manager). I reinstalled it and it worked...for 10min and after that it stopped. I update my rom (RR) which has Magisk preinstalled on it and still no succes. I flash the rom and after 10min Magisk stops working. I tried clean flashing rom but no succes.
Any suggestions guys?
Thanks
Unless you see any specific errors I TWRP Flash the latest version of Magisk.
... before that revert to a proper kernel IMG
On the latest Oxygen 4.7.6, bluspark TWRP and magisk 15.3. Installation went perfectly and running perfectly, however when I restart the phone it goes into a bootloop when it reaches the lockscreen. The only method is to factory reset. I have done this 3 times already. Does anyone have an idea?

First of all, make sure u have the Magisk uninstaller zip on ur phone, that way if u get a bootloop u can recover without having to wipe ur rom. U can get it from the Magisk XDA thread, just Google it. Second, seems there are some issues flashing straight into 15.3. Find a 15.2 or earlier zip, and then u can update to 15.3 within the Magisk app.
I'm currently in OOS 8.0.3 and I upgraded from previous all versions.. Everytime I install TWRP by code works.. It gets installed and stays for some days.. After that.. I was booted to OOS recovery rather than TWRP.. Please help me out

Do you have root installed? magisk or supersu?
yes i have rooted with magisk
Yes.. My problem is resolved.. After installing oxygen OS. I installed Magisk.. So that recovery doesn't get replaced by stock.
Need help, i have been using custom roms since i got the phone, was on the newest cdroid from today or yesterday, decided i wanted to try OOS, i updated to official twrp 3.2.0.2 and downloaded the full OOS zip.
Formatted data, transfered OOS zip and magisk 16 to phone, wiped everything except sdcard, flashed OOS and when I tried to flash magisk it gave me a error code 1. Tried blue twrp tried OOS 5.04, and still does the same thing please help!
I had the same error last night but it's all right, you can go ahead and continue, it will boot up. You can install the universal TWRP by codeworkx.

Let It boot oos first time, then try with magisk 16.3 in TWRP official.
Hi,
I dont know what I am doing wrong, really.
I managed to unlock bootloader and install custom ROM, everything works fine then.
I install TWRP without an issue. I can decrypt partition by wiping all. Once I flash SuperSU 2.82 or Magis 18.1. I get a bootloop when trying to reboot. I waited like 15 Minutes. Also tried KingRoot.apk methid, didnt work.
So no way to get root access works for me?
Any idea? Thanks!
Best
UPDATE: It worked now.
How? Download TWRP from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-max-3/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-3-1-nitrogen-t3866084
Install latest Magisk 18.1.
