Camera not working in MIUI if try to bypass ARB [Pitchblack Recovery Method]

I used the pitchblack recovery method to go down from ARB4 MIUI roms to ARB 3 MIUI roms by modifying MIUI roms and removing ARB so i tried 9.2.4 and 9.2.13 through this method and faced same camera issue everything was working fine except camera. When i try to open camera it crashes and not even able to use camera in other apps so is it just me or others who tried same method to bypass ARB are facing same issue too?
Is it because i am going down from Oreo to Nougat and the bypassing method is not removing the latest firmware files so camera isn't working on old MIUI roms?

When i want to view permissions of camera it crash too.

Try to download 9.2.4 and 9.2.13 fastboot roms and copy persist.img from it. Flash via fastboot:
fastboot flash persist persist.img

anti rollback

I bought my RN 8 pro with EU ROM and i want to flash global ROM so i unlocked my bootloader and download last global rom
and when i'm flashing it with MIFLASH i had error anti rollback error
how can i fix it and flash global rom

This error can happen if path to ROM is too long or contains cyrillic letters.
Wrong path:

You shouldn't use TWRP for that. Especially for downgrading. Anti-rollback protection is enabled even when the phone is unlocked and it is very dangerous when you downgrade through TWRP. My RN8P got hard bricked just because I downgraded MIUI from Android 10 to Android 9 using TWRP. You should always use fastboot mode for this because it'll warn you before bricking. This kind of hard brick is not easy to fix. Only people with authorized Mi account can unbrick your device. So, the only way to unbrick is via a service center or a friend who has got authorized Mi account.

Downgrading MIUI 11 to MIUI 10

Have someone already tried this? Downgrading from Miui 11 to Miui 10? Or from some Miui 10 to another version of Miui 10? I've the Redmi 7 Global and my bootloader is locked. I tried downgrading using the built in update app and choosing a previous package but it doesn't let me to do that. I don't know if it's possible by flashing Miui 10 in fastboot, has anyone tried? Fastboot getvar anti gives me =1 and I read somewhere that =1 means there's no problem to downgrade but I'm not sure

Download Fastboot ROM and Flash it using MI flash tool for PC turn off device and boot it to Fastboot Mode and you are ready to rock

You will need to unlock bootloader and download miui 10 fastboot rom and remember when flashing select clean all and lock if u want to lock bootloader.

if i want to download grade from 11.0.8 to 11.0.5 without unlocking bootloader (i mean by recovery zip)

RECOVERY - If you try to flash Recovery rom in Redmi 7(ONC_LITE) or Redmi Y3(ONC) then it will successfully flashed !! i personally tried and success.
FASTBOOT - If you try to flash any rom in Redmi 7(ONC_LITE) or Redmi Y3(ONC) then it says only nop and sig tag can be received before authentication
EDL - If you try to flash any rom in Redmi 7(ONC_LITE) or Redmi Y3(ONC) then it says only nop and sig tag can be received before authentication
my phone stucks at EDL MODE. No Fastboot,Recovery,Boot,GPT,LED Blink. Nothing works only EDL MODE. can anyone help me !! i have Redmi Y3.

Nope Xiaomi restricted downgrading Option via updater app the only option left is fastboot

To anyone,
I just want to know if it's possible to (& how to) downgrade (WITHOUT A PC! aka using just zip file) for my Redmi 7A using the update app\tool on MIUI devices, before I update it... I'll hate to upgrade only to find bugs etc... so it's always good to know how to downgrade jic as I'm very cautious & I've never tried these things. tnx.

Flash from Chinese rom to Global rom.

Hi, my redmi note 5 Pro (whyred) is in Chinese rom v11.0.2.0 PEICNXM,
I tried Miflash flashed with Global v11.0.3.0 PEIMIXM but encountered error " antirbpass error".
Bootloader was Unlocked.
With OrangeFox recovery.
I have checked the anti value of current rom =4.
And the Global rom I am flashing is also =4.
They are of same equal value.
What could have gone wrong?
Please advise /help

This forum just basically dead, almost none of them use RN5pro anymore.
You need to flash dummy image before flashing the rom to bypass that error, search on miui forum or others to get that dummy image, i forget where to get it.

if you have orangefox recovery you can download global 11.0.3 recovery zip and flash via recovery , no need of miflash tool

I have mi 10t pro, camera can not connect close after 3 seconds, rom global miui 13. Then i flash rom miui 13 eu to fix, but nothing changed, sometime i clear cache camera and restart phone, camera works again but in a while, and crash again, somebody helps me, please

Nope
do not use the TWRP which only flashes recovery roms which unlike the Fastboot rom does not contain all the imgs.
Recovery just for system updates or troubleshooting.

Yes, i installed cam app third, but it was the same, when the error happened, the torch is hidden, can not use too, i read this problem on xiaomi.eu, and i flashed the fixed camera rom through twrp, ver 13.0.8.0. I thought the hardware issue, but i need to refer to someone.
Edit: sensor proximity, accelerate, gyro is damaged too, i dont know could it be related to? Hardware

To be sure this is a HW problem, flash this rom with Miflash.

If you respect the method of the thread no risk, the important thing is not to re-lock the bootloader.
You may have an ARB problem, if so use the script "flash_all.bat"included in the folder included in the TZG file and you can start with this method without Miflash.

Hix, i flashed fastboot rom 12.0.3, and camera still crashed, sensor accelerate, gyro, proximity failed, hardware is damaged, so sad. Thank you for your help
