I was just wondering what screen shot apps. people are using.
I have a few different ones on my phone but none seem to work on the 7.
I did a search and didn't come up with anything, if this was covered I'm
sorry in advance.
Thanks!

if u do have a htc desire then pull the battery out n put back in then press in and hold the trackball button + power button. think that works and i think to put the phone into safe mode u press and hold the menu button + power. if ur phone just booted into safe mode itself then u probably have some kinda hardware problem.

well i think that its probably hardware if no buttons really work or if they r working without u pressing them. before blaming hardware, u should look at a video on youtube and take ur phone apart and give it a GOOD clean, all around the buttons. ul be surprised at how dirty they get and that causes them to stick. its up to u tho but thats what i would do.

yh, so is mine... its immaculate (but dead) but when i took it apart coz volume down button wasnt working great, i was surprised at the dusty dirt crap inside. But if u say its new and clean then u can safely say its most probably hardware problems. Did the phone ever get wet?

any app can work on my case?
there used to be an app called Button Remapper for rooted devices but now the Dev has stopped support for JB it was only till GB so need to look around if there is any such app try in play store see if you could find
or you may want to try this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...DEsImNvbS5oYXJkcm9jay5zbWFydGFuc3dlcmNhbGwiXQ..
Thank for your support. I search my concerns by google, many people meet the same problem, and so far there is no any solution. anyway I can try to answer in-call by shaking fuction. better than nothing.
I appreciate that someone share with us how to answer incall when using flipcover in note 2. so far I know answer call by touching home key and touching screen.

Hi Everyone...I cleaned this thread up and then closed it. I removed all the posts after the point where this thread should have stopped and the arguing began. There were some really helpful posts that got removed and I am sorry for that!
Thanks for trying to understand!
Hello, I recently acquired a Pixel C and I am very happy with it but something is bugging me. The power button is kind of hard to push and there is no haptic feedback, i.e. click, like for the volume buttons. Could anyone be so kind and confirm how the power button feels on their device, to know if this is normal or if there's something wrong ? Big thanks in advance!!

It's not hard on my new Pixel C, feels just like my phone. There is no haptic feedback on the device which is a shame.

Thanks for your response! What I meant by haptic feedback was the subtle click you get when you press the volume buttons. My power button doesn't do that and sometimes I have to press twice do turn the pixel on or off, which is a bit annoying.

oops, double post !
Ok, understood.
So my power button feels exactly like the volume controls. As you say, a 'subtle' click.
Mine has the click for the power button, and isn't hard to push at all. Sounds like there's something up with yours.

Just called them and a replacement unit is already on its way!
Now I have to flash everything back to stock just to avoid any warranty issues...
Thanks for your help!
Did you install recovery and root?
If so, which method did you use? There are several documented in this forum, most out-of-date.
I'm just about to use TWRP 3.1.1-1 (to keep data encryption) and Magisk 14.5 which apparently now works with Pixel C.

yep, TWRP 3.1.1-1 and Magisk 14 work like a charm.
Combined with adAway and a modded youtube apk it's the perfect tablet for me, so glad they still had one left!
