LG D855

Hey Guys,i have LG D855 which is stuck on update firmware,i tried many firmwares KDZ and TOT files but no luck,whenever i try to flash with kdz file then it stuck on 2% then show retry i retried many times but same stuck on 2%.And when i try to flash it with tot file then it gave error after 6seconds.i also tried to update it online with lg support tool but same.Any expert can help me guide me,sory for my bad english.

When i flash tot with LG tool i always get error, but it goes on still. Have you installed proper drivers?

yes drivers are installed properly.Before 3 days ago i flashed F180s.

Use usb 2.0 port

I am facing the same issue here with my lg D855. have u found any way to flash kdz? I am getting the same error at 2%. No matter how many times I did.

accidentally flashed D855 rom to LS990.. HELP!

Hello everyone !
So i bought this G3 online (second hand), on th back it sais it's D855 variant 32/3 and it had kitkat.. and wanted to upgrade so i looked it up and found MM update 30B.kdz so i backed up my EFS and flashed it then i got stuck in a bootloop so i flashed another rom LP 21A.kdz and it worked but no network neither WiFi or BT.. USB debugging works but no MTP or PTP connexion and Model name became D855V.. i looked this problem online and someone mentionned it may be caused because it's a different variant, checked my device info on some IMEI check websites and they said it's L990.. i opened it up to confirme and it says it's indeed a LS990 on the motherboard.. so i tried to flash a LS990 rom back but al i could find is a .TOT extension roms which demands a .dll file and check etc.. i tried flashing them using LGUP and LG Flash Tool and they both gave me an erreur message that it's a different device modele.. tried different .dll files LS990....dll , D855....dll and LGUP8974.dll wich is supposed to ignore some checks but still nothing worked.. i think .kdz roms doesn't do that check wich brought me to this problem in the 1st place.. but i couldn't find a .kdz rom for LS990 anywhere.. found US990...kdz but don't think it's the same !
guys please help !.. i'm a civil engineering student whom is drowning in debts and spent the last money i got on this phone because i needed it and can't afford to lose it like that.. you could letteraly save my life ;D

Download LS990 .tot and D855's .dll. Use a hexeditor to change the headers of the ls990 .tot to the name found on the D855's .tot. Flash the generated LS990(now disguised as a D855) .tot unto phone using the D855's .dll

So i installed a hex editor(HxD) and opened the LS990 .tot and searched for every "LS990" header and changed them all to what replaces "D855" in D855 .tot.. stop me if i'm in the wrong way, then saved the work so the LS990 .tot should be disguised as a D855 .tot right ? and i got the D855 .dll already. is that ready to be flashed now ? wouldn't it cause a hardbrick or sth ?.. it's not like i have many options but i just don't want to make things worse..
Ps: while i was in Maths class i was trying o think of sth.. and thought
that i may be able to root it and install TWRP then flash a LS990 rom since i have USB debugging working.. but i have to root it first and the way to root it while on LP is LG One Click Root but i'm having a hard time doing that although i tried everything but i think that's because of the wrong rom.. just wanted to mention it !

[Help] Stuck on download mode after trying to return to stock rom

Hello everyone
My probleme is kind simple : i'm stuck on download mode after failing to return to stock rom with the ToT method (Lg Flash Tool)
My phone is a LG G3 D885 V10n
i tried to go back to stock rom (this one LGD855AT-00-V10e-EUR-XX-JUL-08-2014-32G+0)
i followed the tuto here on the forum but i haved a error at 6% (3sec) :
[ERROR] : Partition Change factory Partition
before trying the tot methodei tried with kdz methode (Lg Flash Tool 2014 ) but i got error at 2%

Again try with kdz ignore error just look into your phone flash is running or not....try to use different cable or pc...

Are you sure you install proper driver....for flash tool and try different pc and cable

I don't know but it seems you're going from v10n to v10e it looks like a downgrade of firmware, I think you gotta do extra steps when you wanted to do a downgrade... Anyway, why don't you try to flash latest KDZ, you can find it here http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX just replace the X's with your IMEI that can be found if you remove your battery or in the box. Once you enter your IMEI without hyphens you can find where it says <sw_url> there will be the URL to the latest firmware. Good luck.

LGUP shows unknown model ????

Hi Guys i have LG G3 D851 ..i am currently on MM i want to downgrade to lollipop so i downloaded the kdz file V20e but the problem is that LGUP cannot detect my G3 shows the device as unknown model but correctly shows the comports i even tried using LGFlash tool used seems that i cannot downgrade shows error and stops so i wanna know is there any way to fix this unknown model in LGUP ...

Guess no one wants to help here ?? To anyone else who has this issue u may need to change the buildprop file and ur phone must be rooted it still doesnt shows as unknown in LGUP but since i have rooted my phone n bought a new battery and installed xposed and im having a good battery life i still want to know why it aint showing up in LGUP

i think D851 doesnt support LGUPdirect mthod thats what i figure but u can go back via tot method to lollipop or kitkat...im still using MM with custom rom

Dont install it.. use it with flashtool as dll and tot for ur model.. old flashtool way

i cant seem to flash via lgflashtool 2014 cuz it needs kdz n in TWRP u need .zip file...what other flashing method is available?

The only flashing method that has ever worked for me when my phone was bricked along with Corrupted recovery is the .TOT method. And that I'm afraid is the one from where you have to start all over from Out of the box experience with 4.4 Kitkat. If the LGFlashTool2014 does not work for you, I recommend the LGFlashtoolv1.8.1 + the crack. It will not ask you for the KDZ and should allow you to downgrade without any hassle.
There are 2 things you will need:
LGD851AT-01-V10c.zip & LGFLASHv160.dll
This will point you in the right direction. Just scroll down to the text where it says "2014 TOT Method (Old/Outdated)"

Solution to LGUP LG G3 unknown
While an old thread, it'll be found in searches. For anybody who gets "UNKNOWN" device with LGUP for the LG G3, I found that LGUP for the G3 is often distributed with the wrong DLL file. See the details here, post #11.
