Hello fellow OP3 owners;
I recently rooted my OP3 and am a noob when it comes to Layers. I've only ever used CM theme engine. I'd like to stay on Oxygen until the binaries for dash charging are released.
My question is, does Oxygen support Layers? Now that I am rooted is there anything special I might need to do to get it working?
Anybody with expertise to discuss is appreciated. Hope everyone is enjoying their new device as I am
Cheers!
Just installed layers manager and layers showcase from the play store and it worked. Sweet. It also doesn't trigger the safetynet check so if you are using systemless root, Android pay should still work. The downside though is that many layers on the play store don't list compatibility with the OP3 so many of them are harder to get from the showcase app.
Edit: Should mention I'm on OOS 3.1.2 with systemless SuperSU.

Every theme *should* work but I've noticed most ones that theme the "Framework" have issues such as not booting or rebooting when you get power menu style popups.

Have the same exact prob.
In December I installed MaximusHD ROM and Substratum. I tried out multiple theme packs and settings until I'm not getting bootloop nor constant "Settings has stopped working." error. Before every changes I had to do TWRP restoring backup to get rid of bootloop.
I know HTC 10 original ROM is flawed so not really compatible with Substratum. I would like to know if anyone has some working setting that one would be so kind to share. Thanks in advance!

Any system overlay that you apply with substratum WILL crash, since stock sense does not have the necessary OMS commits. This also applies for the settings overlay. Rest are fine i guess.

don't see any problem as i just flashed it on my mi 5 anodroid 7.0 (until my mix 2 arrives from gearbest)
see here for more info.
it should work, at least most of the modules.
Tried flashing all different types of xposed with no luck. This phone needs SDK 25.

I even tried with xposed for miui9 with sdk25, got stuck on booting. So no joy yet.
I was able to boot with the purify SDK 25. It was recognized in Xposed but it was not active.
I tried the official nougat release (88.1), it still says "xposed is installed but not active"

The same on Epic Rom.
I use mokee ROM. Xposed is built in! Amazing rom
Hi Guys,
Tried to install the official SDK 88 to MIUI Epic ROM. Result was : phone booted but XPosed reported that "it is not active".
I then tried to install SolarWarez's version 25 of SDK 87. Result was : bootloop
I even tried to install several other version, like Magisk. No luck.
I really would like to see SolarWarez patching sdk88, but he seems to have vanished.
I think I found a post time ago where SolarWarez explained what he changed to the original patch and it seems it was not a lot.
But I really hope he will show up one day and patch sdk88...

Bluetooth Audio and many more bugs!
I need it for my car.
There are not too many bugs. Just a few like all custom ROMs. I have gravitybox installed and many of those mods work nicely
Hi guys,
After some research, here's what I found out.
It is not possible to use XPosed with MIUI 9 from version 7.9.21 and up.
But Xposed works quite nice with the 7.9.14 version.
You will need to get the specific Xposed for MIUI version offered by PsyMan.
It wil then run and most modules, except the ones requiring a slightly modded GUI will work I think...
Regards.

Hi,
Sure...
It's taken from "Globe MIUI".
Here's the link where you can select what build you want for the mi Mix 2.
This is the one I am using...

Thanks. I managed to figure out the URL for an older official ROM, so I'll give it a try later.

Ok, so, I gave this a try, but with 7.9.8 (linked in my previous post).
After flashing supersu (or magisk) and the xposed I found here (I'm assuming this is the one you used?)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-miui-9-t3688486
The phone wouldn't boot.
Any suggestions? Did you do anything different?
Any one have a working version of xposed for miui 9?
Can't seem to get a version that boots with 7.10.19.
I' ve a Mi mix 2 with Resurrection Remix 5.8.5, is there a working version of xposed?
For me substratum themes doesnt work on latest stock. Has anibody same problem?
I think if you google you might be able to find Pixel Oreo wallpaper/launchers that could help you customize it a bit. I just use Pixel wallpapers of Lagos or somewhere that I found a half year ago. I no longer use their customization as I found it lagged things a tad. But that experience was on a past Pixel experience ROM (7.x, I believe) when I then adapter to other custom ROMs.
Substratum is working fine for me on Oreo stock

How? When i install layers nothing hapens.
They need to be enabled after installation... Choose manager and then 'change overlay states'... I'm on stock, no root, with Andromeda
Hi. Did anyone manage to install Substratum Curve on OOS 9.0? I tried everything and it doesn't work... It worked on other customers Pie ROMs like Codename Phoenix but only on OOS Pie. Tried on Stable and Beta too. Does not work... Thanks in advance if you can help me.

Yeah it doesn't really work for me. It might do the slightest bit but it doesn't even looked curve. Have U gotten other themes to work? If not U might need to grab the APK from their telegram.
I've had to resort to rounded corners app in the play store
Well, OOS evolved in almost exactly what I like so I only used this module. On other ROMs I use other themes but since Ozone is not compatible with 9 yet, I don't need it from anything else.
