Google services not working after flashing the rom
Hi,
I have installed the latest version of aosp extended from the official site for YU YUREKA.While flashing gapps i was getting error code 70.So i installed gapps pico and it worked fine.
But now the play store and other google functionality are not working and i continuously get a message saying google play services has stopped.
If there is any fix for this issue i would really appreciate it.

After flashing this ROM, SIM cards are detecting but signals are not coming showing emergency.
Even though selecting the network manually, Signals not coming.( Networks tried, Airtel, Vodafone,Jio)
After restarting the phone ,pop coming like Phone services unavailable.
Please help me in this regard

Yes, I did. But, now I can only use one sim at a time in any slot. IMEIs are fine. After manual registration of other SIM I got notification from phone services: No Service(Selected network unavailable).

Flashed successfully but Texts look blurry.
Flashed ROM for the First time with pico GApps. Works like a charm. No problem so far( except for the sRGB picture mode in Dev Option not switching on). But, I see the texts on the screen look washed out/fuzzy. Changing the dpi and width also didnt do anything. I didnt have this issue on stock ROM. How I rooted- PC>ADB installer> unlock bootloader> twrp> root with SuperSu>replace with Magisk. Any one else having the same problem and have a fix for that?
I'm currently using 7.1 what you have done ...thanx for that...present 8.1 having some issues as some apps are unable to use because it says rooted where it didn't show in 7.1..and one more or volte connection..please make sure these two things work...looking forward for your updates...thanks in advance..

If/Once calls, SMS, network, wifi work fine (those are my essentials because that's my one and only device), I could as well flash this (instead of LOS 13) and help with logs and testing if that would help.
Tiny correction for OP, device number is missing a "3" (i9301I) just to avoid confusions...

Everything except camera (only sure about samsung sensors), bluetooth, flash and autorotation(stops working after device wakes from sleep) works.

So, Bluetooth being the main difference from LOS 13? Nice! I'm going to fully charge it and flash.

1st try: Setup Wizard keeps stoping just after Google Services page when I press "NEXT" to begin looking for updates. Will try reflashing and update.

Weird, I had no such issue and I did use WiFi during setup. I only had the open gapps issue (setup wizard was crashing). Did you experience that issue with Beans Gapps btw?
For me up to now the overall experience is OK.
I can confirm known bugs though. (Bluetooth, camera, flashlight, red borders flickering).
Also, I tried to take some logs and the logcat seems way more active than usual, is that due to the Bluetooth failing over and over?

1. Volte not working, I did reboot and come but wasn't working.
2. Camera app is missing, on flashing Moto camera it is not working saying camera is busy and restart (same error after restarting)
3. Flash light not working.
I was on rr Rom on the Indian variant of the g4 plus. I did clean flash the ROM with no gapps flashed. I also flashed Moto camera and magisk manager. I was unable to take log cats as I was unable to install APK files off the internet. If no one can provide logs, I'll be happy to share by flashing again.

For VoLTE turn on airplane mode one time and turn off.after that VoLTE is working perfectly...! And if not in apn setting set APN type to default only,save it and do above procedure.it will work..And for Camera restart phone one time after that double tap on home button will open camera & it will work....!

1) It doesn't have stock kernel. Stock kernel hardly boots other roms than stock.
2) Official is just a tag and practically doesn't do anything. This is not official because it is ported and not compiled. For official tag, we must compile a build with open sourced device sources with an active maintainer to push updates. We can't simply type "official" in the name. If we do, it will be deleted by mods. Once the compiled build is stable, we must request the lineage os community to add our device to their official list.
3) Lineage OS community doesn't usually add mtk devices as official.
4) We don't have MM sources to compile MM roms.
5) Official is now useless because lineage os has already officially removed support for MM. Their final builds were released long ago.
It's a whole network of communities how these roms work. It's not simply a word "official". It takes hardwork and time and nice hardware PC and a good device.

Edit: I couldn't resist trying this rom out, and the gallery works just like it should!

I've had the same problem with ES File Explorer. I am using version 3.2.5. Before switching to lineage I made a titanium backup of ES. When restored, it worked but would crash when killing the app and launching it again. I uninstalled and restored it again, started ES, changed some of the settings, and now it works.
Try to move that app to internal storage if your sdcard as internal and also don't forget to allow storage permission for that app

thnku so much.. this rom is working perfectly on my kiwi L21..
I dont know why, but if i flash this rom it stays in Bootmode (Boot-Logo), no restarts..
Prevous installed ROM was crDroid v4.6.1, and i've done a Clean-Flash...
Im also flashed a MM Stock ROM and tried to flash it again, but same thing, doesnt boot up..
crDroid v4.6.1 instead works just fine..

update ur twrp recovery using twrp app (only if mobile is rooted). then flash rom.. it will work.

Hi, I've been trying this rom and it feels amazing, but when I send voice notes via WhatsApp or Messenger, the volume is too low. Is there any solution?

It's just:
* No sound in Calls
* And in "about phone" the IMEI says Unknown, But SimCrads are functional
* Mobile Data doesn't go higher than 2G although the preferred network type is LTE
* Contacts are not read by apps [including "Phone (default dialer in Rom) & latest ver of WhatsApp (66.0.0.0.17 (125404728)) ]
* There was no default music player with the Rom
* Equalizer doesn't make any difference on audio output ( speaker & headphone)
What is the right root solution (except Magisk) for this Rom?
There is an app named "Shell" but it has no icon and no shortcut, what is it? (you can find it in battery optimization option)

No, but I'll try to update it at least once more.
Edit: The ROM devs stopped updating the Oreo branch for this ROM after my latest build, so I won't be updating this anymore after all.
Edit 2: Just gonna use this thread for Pie. I don't plan to update this very much

What's AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
We added few non-AOSP features for a better user experience and we NOT going to add something other.

Display is laggy.
Display dpi is incorrect.
Punch hole / status bar not adapted.
Everything else works great.
I was not able to flash gapps, I followed op procedure but got an error.
- Flash the build
- Flash GApps (error while flashing)
Should I reboot to recovery before flashing Gapps ?
Keep it up I would use it as a daily driver when display/screen is properly implemented ? it's so great to have zero bloat on a phone again...
okey got it working and booting,but cant flash the gapps get some kind of error that the system memory is full

How do you flash it? I flashed in the twrp and then without flashing GApps just did a reboot and it won't boot at all for me.

So here's what I did,
1. Booted into TWRP
2. Flashed ROM
3. Format Data
It gets stuck on G logo. I waited for ~30 mins but nothing
New Update is out.
Changelog:
1. Fixed Bluetooth Media.
2. Fixed proximity sensor during calls.
3. Fixed DPI Issues.
4. FIxed VoWiFi and Carrier Video Calling.
5. Included Google Apps.
Note: To fix display stutter set refresh rate to 90 Hz from display settings.

That's because Format data is broken in TWRP, you must use stock/included recovery for that.
