The lastest version TWRP (2.8.6.0) or Philz CWM is recommended
Clean Installation
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. Download the appropriate GApps following the links in the second post.
3. Back up any and all important data.
5. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE/DATA/FACTORY RESET.
6. WIPE SYSTEM.
7. Flash the ROM in recovery.
7.1. DO NOT FIX PERMISSIONS AFTER FLASHING, doing so will cause a bootloop.
8. Flash the GApps.
9. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
10. Reboot Device.
Dirty Flash/Update
1. Download the appropriate ROM using links provide in the second post.
2. WIPE CACHE/DALVIK.
3. Install the zip file from recovery.
3.1. DO NOT FIX PERMISSIONS AFTER FLASHING, doing so will cause a bootloop.
4. WIPE DALVIK/CACHE (for good measure).
5. Reboot Device.

Wifi shows on battery usage chart
1. Lollipop and prior versions of android, "Allow wifi scanning" option was in advanced wifi but now moved to "Location" settings under scanning option (top right corner)
2. Turn off "Allow wifi scanning" to remove the issue.
Help! Miscellaneous is draining my battery!
Miscellaneous itself is not some mystical process that drains battery. It's showing the difference between estimated battery drain and actual battery drain (so more like a summation of all of the miscellaneous processes that drained the battery unexpectedly).

Not working in any cm13 based rom . Dnt knw abt this one .

Anyone facing can't connect camera error after taking a picture? Like it pops out when it tries to save captured image..will post a logcat later..

Fix for fb broke camera ....If you want to use camera,use Snapchat for now

AOSP is Android as Google publishes without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.​

Mostly everything except for those mentioned in Not working list.

Camera works after the first reboot.
Rear camera video recording is broken ( Footej and open camera app works fine )

to fix the camera go to system/frameworks and delete all files com.motorola.xxx and reboot

I flashed TWRP 3.1.1-0 which works perfectly. 3.2.0-0 doesn't seem to work well.

Very nice for a first release! Amazing work.
A little laggy sometimes but, i hope the developers continue with this rom.

1. volte working but on every reboot it's gone need to enable manually through settings.
2. Jio Data not working [Not sure because i not recharge actually prompt for sign in.
3. battery charging animation not working when connected to laptop. Animation gone after 1 min.
4. Tez app not working again.
5. when you download something from play store then download animated icon not showing. You need to manually go into status bar and check for it.

Logs or it didn't happen. Try getting logcats from a log capturing app or use ADB. Follow this fashion please:

thnku so much.. this rom is working perfectly on my kiwi L21..

I dont know why, but if i flash this rom it stays in Bootmode (Boot-Logo), no restarts..
Prevous installed ROM was crDroid v4.6.1, and i've done a Clean-Flash...
Im also flashed a MM Stock ROM and tried to flash it again, but same thing, doesnt boot up..
crDroid v4.6.1 instead works just fine..

I can not flash this Rom

update ur twrp recovery using twrp app (only if mobile is rooted). then flash rom.. it will work.

Hi, I've been trying this rom and it feels amazing, but when I send voice notes via WhatsApp or Messenger, the volume is too low. Is there any solution?

It's just:
* No sound in Calls
* And in "about phone" the IMEI says Unknown, But SimCrads are functional
* Mobile Data doesn't go higher than 2G although the preferred network type is LTE
* Contacts are not read by apps [including "Phone (default dialer in Rom) & latest ver of WhatsApp (66.0.0.0.17 (125404728)) ]
* There was no default music player with the Rom
* Equalizer doesn't make any difference on audio output ( speaker & headphone)
What is the right root solution (except Magisk) for this Rom?
There is an app named "Shell" but it has no icon and no shortcut, what is it? (you can find it in battery optimization option)

No, but I'll try to update it at least once more.
Edit: The ROM devs stopped updating the Oreo branch for this ROM after my latest build, so I won't be updating this anymore after all.
Edit 2: Just gonna use this thread for Pie. I don't plan to update this very much

What is AOSP?
AOSP (Android Open Source Project) is Android just as Google publishes, without any other modifications or additions. More or less AOSP is the Pixel devices stock ROM without gapps and proprietary additions. I have also tweaked the default UI to look a bit more pleasing to the eye, inspired from Pixels, and also added inbuilt theming support for those who feel Vanilla AOSP UI is just way too bland. Working fine so far, and i think it's already stable for my daily usage. Oh boi, i only need magisk/root access now :good:
I didn't do format data when flashing this rom, just in case :
Clean wipe > flash rom file > gaaps > disable dm verity > reboot.

I've been using the rom for a while, and don't know if you noticed it, but it seems like usb tethering/MTP aren't working properly.
Also, seems like wireless adb does work!
EDIT: MTP and USB tethering both work after disabling USB debugging

I tried magisk canary build but it makes this phone stuck on fastboot mode, for now i use SuperSU from this thread :')

You can get the modded magisk from below. Only flash the files magiskR and install the magiskR apk (after removing phh su if installed) and do not update magisk nor update/hide the manager app. Everything works for me with that, even modules and magisk hide!

You will need to downgrade to 10.

If i install stock rom android 10 from TWRP, maybe work?

I dont think so @Osorio1798

We on device moto g stylus 2021 have nada in the rom/GSI department. Do you think this will work or a chance for you developers to get one together

Nah you gotta flash full stock android 10. Your best bet is using the vache moto flash tool because it also adds the vendor fix.

I'm probably just a huge idiot, but I can't seem to get this working for my Moto G Stylus/Pro. I used this unofficial TWRP build and followed the exact steps above, trying to flash the GApps build, then the vanilla build. It shows the Android One splash screen for a few seconds then reboots to the bootloader. And yes I did flash the stock Android 10 firmware previously.
Edit: I was able to boot it by extracting payload.bin and flashing in fastbootd mode

Loving it so far, with the exception of only seeing half of my battery icon. Oh well no worries.....like I'm going to look at that all the time .

Hey @ph4n70m-404, how can I flash magisk without the boot.img? I attempted to flash it as a zip, but the screen went black for half a second and twrp restarts.....

Thats a spark only issue just because of the status bar padding settings and it doesnt properly set itself at default, just go to fireworks - status bar - extra sb settings - and set the status bar padding to another value then set it back to default.

Ive had no trouble flashing Magisk v23 on vaches twrp version 3.5.0, maybe the zip is corrupted? I can't think of any reason you would be getting that issue other then maybe your install of twrp or the zip is messed up.
