I recently got a note 8.0 tab and updated the firmware thru about device. Now, I'd like to try to root it, but it seems I need to revert back to original kitkat version. I know how to do that, I just dont know how to find the original version.
I went to sammobile to d/l it, but dont see the right 4.4.2 version. I have
N5110XAR2CQB1
Its a USA tab.
I did d/l Phone Info - thats how I got the above PDA/CSC Code.

Hi, I've got samsung galaxy s advance. Few days ago I installed cyanogenmod 11 with 4.4.2 android version on it. Now i'd like to back to stock soft. To make that i wiped data/factory and I tap install form zip witch stock soft 4.2 android... After this i rebooted phone, but only what i saw were samsung logo, and nothing changes after that. Only what can i do right now is install back those CM 11. So is any way to bring back stock soft, which older version of android? Thx for any help

type in your model number here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ i tryed looking for your phone I9070 and i see that there is not any firmware available for the USA so im guessing the device is not from the USA? also make sure you know which version of android you want. 2.3.6 is in some places and there is lots of 4.1.2 for other places.
this site should help me yes, like u said im not form USA, just form Poland. I found 2 firmwares for my phone form this website with 4.1.2 android, and that's what I'm looking for. But what does mean kies icon on this list? Because one of those firmwares doesn't have it and i dont know which one should i download.

i imagine that it only means it was pulled from kies, download the one without the kies icon and flash that in odin, do you know how to do that? when you go to download it i see there are instructions. if you dont understand i would be more than happy to help

I Bought A S4 Mini And It Was Rooted.
So when i tried to update it said its modified and i didnt really know anything about the firmware.
So which firmware should i download for my phone as i dont really know which one.

You can use Kies, it will find and apply an update regardless of root.
To answer your question, if you write down what firmware you have *now*, we can check what is its update. It should be visible in the "about phone" section.

Basically i downloaded all the different firmwares of UK
then i tried o2 and it worked

I have rooted my note but I want to go back to the original version, every site I go on to download the firmware for the UK 4.3 I have to pay to download.
Are there any sites to download the file I need to go back to original 4.3 not rooted.
My note is wifi version and I live in the uk.
Reason s to go back is to be able to watch my sky go on the tablet and not going to kit kat 4.4.2 after reading posts from people it rocks battery life and I spend lot of time on my note and don't want to keep charging it.

Thanks for reply, all answers lead to that site but unless you pay the slow download always fails on my pc and note.
Is there any other site to use bar this one? This site just will not work for me. I always try and download the uk version.
Please help I just want to go back to my original note. Flashing this was a major mistake I just can't escape from at the moment.

You have to register to download (free of charge).
Go to firmware and select your device type.

i need help on upgrading my i9195. i have flashed it way back (a year ago) to unlock and to root it. Now I want to update it's firmware or to do a full flash. i forgot the original baseband that it used to have before i flashed it, and not sure if i have changed it. i was looking for a stock version for it (probably the latest kitkat or lollipop if there is), and can't find it. please help me thank you.

that says it was out over a week ago and yet mine hasn't gotten the update. US version Tab S4 (wifi). I think it might have to do wwith rooting it and unrooting it. Because i still get "this device has been rooted"by some of the samsung apps. Can anyone upload stock ROM.

I do but i don't see USA on the listed countries :[ last time I reinstalled some XYZ version which I think led to the root problem.
If you've done that there is a possibility you WON'T get the OTA update as your Tablet is no longer recognized as being for the regional firmware being released...
You will have to find the firmware somewhere else and sideload it.
Sorry I can't help anymore than that...
Someone running stock tab s4 (pie) tell me their build number? From USA wifi version please.
