I've tested it and it charges pixel 2 xl very fast, as if it were the original charger. However I'm not too much into electronics so I have no ideia if this charger could damage my device on the long term use.

Cross reference it with this. No longer maintained, but many chargers / cables are on there.

Here is a list of certified Power Delivery devices.

this is not even USB C- PD standard. don't know how good it will be.
The way I understand it, the charger has its capabilities but the phone will not go over and above what it can accept in the way of power and amperage. Were it not the case, phones would consistently be catching fire due to chargers that have stronger capabilities than what the phone could accept.
As I said this is the way I understand it and I'm not an electronics expert either, just someone who's read an article or two. Hopefully somebody out there can weigh in with a more concrete answer.
Cheers.

I had bought the Lifetrons All-in-One Universal Adaptor with 2 USB Charging Ports and it was powerful enough to charge an iPad + an iPhone concurrently charging times.

Only thing is that it does not charge my SGT 10.1v...
Had tried a charger from dealextreme.com, but charge time was very slow for my SGT (didn't try my iPad yet), almost twice of what the SGT original charger gives. My unit feels very hot too, so stopped using that.

Anyone has any charger that works for both the iPad and SGT? Best with more than one charging port?

thanks man.
made the purchase and waiting anxiously for it to come!
Just grabbed one of these at the Verizon store when I picked up my extended battery. Just a heads up, and I don't think it really matters at all but just saying, the box says it's for tablets, smartphones and other usb devices. It makes NO mention of the Iphone or ipad on the box whatsoever, but in the manual they make it clear that it was designed for apple products only. Seems pretty shady to say it's for all tablets, smartphones and usb devices on the box but then claim it's only meant for iproducts in the legal and warranty section of the manual. Can anyone think of any reason why this might be a bad thing to use with our phone? It says it charges at 2.1 Amps, but our phones will limit the charge rate if needed right?

I'm looking for a quality external battery charger for my E4GT
I have some cheap-o one that looks like it was made in China and it take 16 hours or so to get a full charge on it. Anyone have any suggestions or can point me to one that doesn't take all day to charge? I need it because the guy who repaired the charging port once pretty much destroyed the contacts to the mainboard, so it is now irreparable. I don't think Sprint would cover under the TEP since it has been opened (I had it repaired once when it wasn't covered under the TEP).
If you are looking for a great battery charger, check out Anker battery expert. It has worked very well. I found it online for about $15.

Edit: I have been using this charger nearly every day since September 2013. I use 2 batteries, and alternate between them. My phone won't charge by usb after flying off the dash of vehicle while pluged in.

Hi, I've gone through countless leads and would like to hear, from other users, which they would recommend, regardless of cost. I need a lead to last!.
Just got a 2mtre Belkin as I use my phone in bed a lot and hope the extra length will help with the stress on the joins
Thx.

Anker is a good bet. All of their products are high quality. It's 10ft long, built really well, and you also get an 18 month warranty.

I own a 10ft Belkin cable and paired with a Nexus 7 2012 charge-block (It's blocky!), my phone was able to charge steadly wlist watching HD content on YouTube, phone propped on a pillow.

This charger is amazing Firstly it comes fully stored, It fits in the palm of my hand, it feels smooth and cold like a stainless steel, and It charged my phone without loosing a bar light It was able to charge my alcatel one touch f2 from 22% to 100% in less then a hour , also my motorla moto g from zero to 3% in 2 minutes. The small usb cord that came along with it is quite durable even though its small its the perfect fit for a portable charger. Without the incovience of having a long cord in your pocket/bag. I am very impressed by this gadget and I highly recommend for anyone to buy it. :fingers-crossed: It can charge android type phones or devices with the similar outlet to charge it . :good:
