I do use Substratum as well. I'll have to disable it and see if that makes any difference.

Hello,
I'm having a weird issue when I flash a new rom to my phone. After I wipe my phone and flash the rom the colors on my screen change slightly, it looks like it gets a little more orange added to the colors. Does anybody know why dos this happen and what I can do to fix it?
Thank You
Does it happen when you flash other roms or just that specific rom?
I am curious if its a hardware thing or software. Can you please post a picture of it along with a screenshot so we can see what you are talking about.

I'm thinking it's a software thing because when I go to recovery mode everything looks normal. I took a few screenshots but when I transfer them to my computer they look normal.
Bump....
Mine did that for a while on aosp Roms with the packaged kernel I found kt's kernel works best for me I no longer get that. It also happened the most after enabling nav buttons.

After hiding my navbar while watching some Lost on Netflix, trying to get it back resulted in a useless black bar at the bottom of my screen... What should I do? I'm running HYD52ROM KK v6...

Same...
I have the same problem, I'm on v7. Rebooted a few times, haven't reinstalled yet.
Hoping someone has a better solution, only because it would suck to do a clean install and have the same thing happen again a couple of days later.
After the clean install did it ever happen again?
Also, is this a Rom problem or is it Huawei's fault? (It is a Beta...)

For me the problem seemed to be conflicting XPosed modules... If you have those, try disabling them.

hello,
since day one when I bought my m8 I rooted it, and a it was fine but sometimes the phone will just freez, i cant go back home nothing the screen wont respond.
i thought this was because of the viper rom so i tried another rom but still it freezes some times, it not a big deal but what the problem? anyone having this issue?
btw when i flash a new rom i wipe everything.
thanks
I'd just go back to sense at least it works properly. Must be a Rom or kernel issue.
I've seen that but not too often

I would guess so. Disable xposed for a few days and see if problem quits.

Is there a Lollipop sharpening fix? Or a variation of Skydragon or Savoca kernel that works for LP 5.01?

What do you mean by reset? Once it's flashed, it always works, even after rebooting.

The original script had to be reset each time. I see this is a different thread with improved version that "sticks". Also did you flash with TWRP?

Flashed through TWRP. I used the other version on KK and don't remember any kind if resetting. Just having to turn on and off the display after boot for it to activate.

The article below should help. To me, it looks like the display is overly softened, creating more of a fuzzy look. Over sharpening creates more of a jagged look (at least that's what over sharpening on my TV and PC monitor does)

Is there an app or way to do this without root that will not cause the phone to have high battery drain or other problems?
