Hi there,
I could not find any straight answer for this question - will there be more 15.1 ROMs for other devices as the developers finish building them or are those discontinued?
Right now there is just a couple of devices with support for 15.1.
I am particularly looking forward for Nexus 4 (mako) builds.
That's because you're looking for an answer that doesn't exist yet.
There will be more releases for more devices, but you'll have to be patient. There is a lot to consider when bringing old devices newer ROM versions. It's not as simple as a yes or no.
It's great that you're looking forward to more device support, but it'll be announced when they know the answer and are ready to share it. Not before.
There are 170 devices supported by the previous version of Lineage. They didn't all happen on the same day.

Good morning all,
There are plenty of threads about ubuntu on nexus 5, but I haven't seen any about it on the nexus 5X, is anyone working on it? Is it easily portable ? I would really enjoy trying it out but I cannot gather any useful info on it...
Cheers

Have fun building it, lol. Canonical isnt going to build any official images for any phone since they have OEMs selling phones with it preinstalled.

Well, a port for the one plus one was just done, one for the one plus x in on the go and one for the fairphone was release some days ago too... So it seems possible. I do not have time right now to learn how to build a rom but the process interests me, i'll take a look at you link, waiting to have more free time (hopefully in September).
Nonetheless this does not answer my question; are people here working on it ?
Hi,
My only query for now is which all devices for now fall under preview of development with Lineage OS team?
I guess loads of queries and rumors are around this topic only considering CM shutdown.
Your response here shall serve as a guide and insight to many XDA users. Chers
Huawei P9 Lite pls ?

I am assuming you are speaking about devices that will support official nightlies? As of right now the rumors are all devices that supported cm13/14...but that is rumors...I am personally waiting to find out what LinOS got to say.

Alright. Sounds great. Do post Incase you find out the list sooner than me. Cheers
Has someone tried to port SailfishOS to our device?
I am not that experienced but there should be all the sources available since it relies on CM/Lineage hardware-wise.

Anyone? Curious about this myself.
I think unlike other ROMs getting Sailfish OS is more than just tinkering with the source images.

I hope someone picks it up and starts working. Here is a list of devices many devs are working on

I would love to see this. I have Sailfish OS on my old Razr M and I like it a lot. It would be nice to have it on Robin.
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to ask a couple questions and start another discussion thread for those of us that have Oreo installed on our devices.
Questions:
With twrp on oreo, what's the status on the flashable version?
Anyone currently or thinking about creating new roms, kernels, etc for the device?
Lastly, what are some things that the nondevs here can do to help us all out?
Hope to see some good discussions
Thanks in advance!
Idk anything about the status of TWRP, so I can't help you there. Overall, I know there was an effort to get a device to a dev, and it was successful. Invisiblek now has one. Looks like he's working on lineage, which is super awesome.
The device now has a repo on the lineage github, so you can see work is being done. As for a timeframe, no clue, just have patience and know that it'll be released once it's ready. We're fortunate that Moto has already updated us to Oreo and it's a pretty stock interface. Only way they could've done better in my view would have been to update the device to support project treble, but that's an entirely different story.
That's about all I know, hope it helps somewhat.
Patience indeed. It'll move along at some point. Next to Sony, I think Moto has one of the cleanest implementations of Android, so it's definitely bearable.
Plus, with the price dropping into "steal" territory, I see more smart ppl coming this way.
Yea thank you guys! I'm being as patient as can be and I just wanted to have a thread here were any and all of us curious folks can have a place to talk about the upcoming of this device and the near future development holds for it. I didn't know it was on lineages repo so that's awesome to hear! That's a perfect example of why I created this post, just to spread the word into one forum and just have a couple chats with everyone about the moto.
Cheers guys, hope to hear more from others too!
Ive owned some great devices for cyanogenmod/lineageos, and ive owned some terrible ones. Nexus phone ans oneplus have been the absolute best - recently the LG G6 (US997 version) has been terrible.
Looking at devices out now - the only phones that have official support for 15.1 that are new(ish) are:
Oneplus devices
nexus devices
xiaomi mi 5, 5s and 5 plus
LeEco Lepro3
Is that right, only those phones?
Which devices are officially supported? Especially interested in cheaper ones - I wish something like the moto E4 was supported better, because imo for most - something like that is more than enough.

Your best bet is to post this question within one of the following threads that is specific to your question.

Good Luck!

I DO NOT provide support via PM unless asked/requested by myself. PLEASE keep it in the threads where everyone can share.
I also came to this LineageOS forum in hopes of finding a specific thread of newly supported devices.
Because the list on the official wiki https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/ seems to be outdated by this article from April 26th: https://www.getdroidtips.com/lineage-os-15-1-android-8-1-oreo/.
But since that's an article, it's also probably outdated.
So is the community updating anywhere what new phones they got LOS to run on?
