Hi,
Sometimes opening the notifications result in sliding to next screen or simply missing pulling down the notifications area.
Does anybody know of an app or mod to open notifications via button (e..g long press on home button) or shortcut?

Try apex launcher, it let's you assign taps or swipes to different actions. I've got double tap to bring down my notifications

Doesn't look like it's suitable for Jelly bean, I just want the widget, I'm on a moto phone, running moto software, I shouldn't need to install new launchers, change DPI etc etc,It's not like i'm on a samsung or something.

Installed it on my phone and it worked fine. Only thing that bothered me was that it looks like it was built for 2.3 and has quite possibly the worst launcher icon I've seen. But if you use something like Nova Launcher, you can hide it.
i try wirh the apk from razr ultra, razr i, razr m, atrix and only can install the razr m and razr i circle but when i try to use on the screen a message says that need moto launcher (moto g launcher is stock pure android). sorry for my english xd

I'm on rooted stock firmware and I am wondering if it is possible to change the behaviour of a long press on the home button. I've used cyanogenmod in the past and I was able to set the behaviour for the home button to show a dial of apps/actions. Is this possible through the use of a mod or an xposed module? That's almost perfect! Thanks for that. I like the cyanogenmod version better but beggars can't be choosers!
Ideally, what I want is on the semi circle there to be icons for apps that I can set. Also, one feature that I liked was the ability to have one of the icons being a 'kill current process' icon. This will do for the timebeing though.
You can do it with gravity box.

Gravitybox is unusable for me. It keeps making my launcher (xperia home) crash. Shame as the solution looked perfect.
After the Kitkat update I don't find the lockscreen buttons.
I'd like to have the possibility to open special apps directly from lockscreen (without unlock).
Can anybody please help?

Sorry, I don't have this, neither on LG G-Pad nor on LG G2 mini (both devices run Kitkat 4.42).
I have no explanation for that.

I recall if you use anything other than swipe as an unlock method the shortcuts are not visible. Either in the menu or on the lock screen

Swipe down from the top, select the Settings Gear Icon, then Display/lock Screen
