Running Redmi Note 5 AI (China whyred) on update 9.5.13.
Hello! Not sure what I did wrong, but I installed Xposed via Magisk just like I would install any module normally. I tapped the reboot button, and now my phone is stuck on bootscreen until it turns off.
I can access TWRP. I don't have a backup from 9.5.13 (typically been just doing backups before MIUI software update), and I don't want to clean wipe. Any suggestions to keep apps/settings/data? Can I just dirty flash a MIUI update?
Thanks ahead of time!

Xposed is not yet compatible with miui 9. No need to reflash stock rom
Just follow this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72542167&postcount=242
Perfect! Thanks for the quick response, issue now solved.
I have a Redmi note 5 (whyred) arb4 with stock MIUI
Bootloader unlocked, TWRP recovery and magisk installed
The magisk module does nothing, I have it activated but it does nothing, the only way i've found to enable the gcam is flashing through recovery but it gets disabled on the next reboot.
Magsik module enabling Camera2 API is not working for me either. While other modules work.
I can enable it by flashing in recovery (OrangeFox), and after a reboot, it still works. Quite strange.
Just tried to Change my Update Channel in Magisk Manager to : "https://github.com/ianmacd/MagiskBuilds"
installed Manager 7.0.1 and flashed latest Magisk 18.2 build and finally its working with SafetyNet passed !

Global Hardware and Xiaomi.eu ROM.
When hiding Magisk Manager in Settings and Reboot Jailbreak Detection of Apps seems bypassed. (tested on Paypal)
Hi
Maybe a noob question, but I'm new to Xiaomi and I can't find a proper response for the Mi Mix 3
If I want to Disable Dm-Verity and ForceEncryption, I found Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_02.04.2019
Also I download the new Magisk 18.2 that I found for the Mi Mix 3
I already unlocked the bootloader
I installed TWRP, Wiped (System, data, everything) then Flashed the newest rom with XiaoMIFlash, before it rebooted I reboot to fastboot, Installed TWRP, copied the files, installed first Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_02.04.2019, then Magisk, then I reboot to system, it starts the phone from the initial setup, after I setup everything I checked and no magisk was installed, and in Security Encryption is still enabled, I reboot again to recovery and again it asks for the decryption password, tried to install magisk still no luck after reboot
If I try to only install Magisk 18.2 it works, but how I can disable Force Encrypt
plz help
I have the Mi Mix 3 Global version with the lastest ROM
Anyone tried Chinese hardware with global rom?
Try the Canary builds, the even work with banking apps that usually do not work with root.
They can be unstable but worked with every Rom so far for me
If you install the latest EU stable ROM (10.3.1) you can simply update Magisk Manager and Magisk itself to the latest version (7.3.2 and 19.3) without any problems and it works like a charm
Hello everyone,
so my Oneplus 5T broke a week ago and I bought another one for 80 bucks on Ebay. I tried to root the Phone with TWRP 3.5.2_9.0, OOS 10.0.1 and Magisk 22.1.
I disabled force encryption on my previous 5T without a problem, but now when I install Magisk with the ROM, no matter if I flash it over TWRP or flash the patched boot image over fastboot, I can access the internet, but can't download anything. It worked after I booted just the ROM and then flashed the boot image over fastboot.
Now I can't get the disable force encryption to work. When I try to flash the Zip over TWRP the phone doesn't boot at all. Also the device behaves laggy, even after multiple reboots.
Then I tried installing OOS 9.0.11, then Magisk and then my disable force encryption zip over TWRP 3.4.0 and it worked immediately.
Can somebody tell me how I can get the root with disabled force encryption on OOS 10.0.1? It worked previously with TWRP 3.5.0_9.0, but now it doesn't.
Thanks for any answer in general.
I don't know why but it works now
I have flashed twrp for redmi note 8 and installed magisk 20.3 zip. The screen stucked at fastboot screen, any ways to fix it.

Reboot to TWRP (PWR/Vol+)
Clean flash the rom you want + DFE
use Magisk 21.2 or newer (flash after 1st boot)
