So with my HTC 10 I downgraded from Oreo to nougat which I am hearing causes problems with the SIM card but I wanted to go to nougat to use the fusion ROM and I believe when I had Oreo originally and tried to flash the fusion ROM it was not working with the SIM card either then when I looked at the form for the fusion ROM I noticed it said nougat firmware required which is where I started to downgrade things but my SIM card is not working on Fusion even on nougat firmware and it wasn't working with the Oreo firmware so I'm really confused

Sorry to say... You cannot use anything lower than Oreo based roms after upgrading... No nougat roms will work because of differences between the two systems... You'll have to wait to use other roms once they are published...

I updated my phone back to Oreo official and then wiped the system and installed it Fusion OS Oreo and my SIM card is still not working it was working fine yesterday before anything was altered on the phone and after s-off was achieved... Sigh I'm about to give up.....
Kernel source has not been released,without it.. What your trying to do... Will not work until devs have source... You cannot use anything other than stock Oreo or the 1 released custom build.

Hello,
I just got this phone recently from Sprint, and rooted it, but I don't like all the samsung garbage and the sprint logo when I boot up along with the sound.
Is there a fully stable replacement without all the prepackaged garbage that I can install? It seems difficult to find anything current for the SM-G920P. I'm currently running Android 5.1.1 on it.
I just got my s6 a week ago,i finally rooted it last night and just debloated it myself with root explorer.http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...ainfire-autoroot-stock-custom-kernel-t3294308. This is what i followed. Oh iam on boost mobile.

I've got notification last evening.:highfive:
My Desire EYE got 6.0 update this afternoon too (in Taiwan). Hope all of you can have Marshmallow soon!!
The first update is 275MB, and the second update is 1.56GB.
wooohooooo ))
I am updating now... :good::good::highfive:
Anyone in Asia except Taiwan got the update yet?
6.0.1 official update
Tested this update for 4 hours.
Some feedback.
Better camera quality (please confirm this)
Better performance . Device run smoother now. On my m910x on antutu i have 60.000, on android 5.0 was about 48.000.
Better ram management.
Now you can add new navigation bar buttons.
I was disappointed because this update doesn't bring 4k video recording. Or raw support.
Anyway I'm happy that we jump straight to 6.0
I will update this post after more testing.

Yep! Same old, same old1 Unfortunately this kind of behavior is not uncommon for Xiaomi! Why they need this is beyond me! Let me just say that for such a big company this is disappointing and definitely not something what give us confidence to buy their phones and other products in the future. I mean, what's the point?! You buy something and then you hope that they give you fair amount of updates on regular base?! Just around corner but never there! C'mon Xiaomi!!!
Anyone facing Battey and Performance issue ? How is battery life ? What all camera issues are there apart from Focus issue ?

hmmm... so if i understand correctly it's not recmmended to update to this ROM if you want a good working camera. How about if i use GCam? Would this help?

hi,
I stopped using miui after the first arb4 release so I'm on arb3 with various custom roms. I never flashed firmware since then and I'm not sure if I did right with that. should I ever flash firmware? is it even save? the thing is, I often got problems with the wifi and it spans through every single rom miui9 / 10 back then and all oreo / pie roms. could a newer firmware fix it or does all this rom have their own firmware which is enough?
Firmware = ROM.

I dont know, but i never cared much for ARB. I mean every rom released by xiaomi in future gonna be atleast ARB4, so i dont see a single reason for staying on ARB3. And even if you do want to downgrade to old miui rom of ARB3, its easy, just dont flash firmware and you good.

Is the only way to know is getting blue screen while flashing new pie builds.
For latest Pie builds, one needs to have baseband of 1.70 CN, meaning anything over ZUI 3.5 baseband should work fine.
Mind you, since ZUI 3, ZUK Dev's for some wired reason stopped hiking the version information even though they are working and updating the baseband. So it's always stuck on 1.70 as information.
Thanks

Ok .. so I am on aex 6.1 straight from 3.18 kernel treble roms (NO QFIL done ever since I bought this phone). Just an Indian 2.5 ZUI user updated via OTA when I had purchased phone. (default baseband 1.76x)
Note that upon flashing 6.1 ROM and gapps (clean flash including vendor), i clicked 'wipe/cache dalvik' and then 'reboot now' where it stucked! I hard shutdown phone and powered it on again and voila AEX logo appeared and reached to setup screen. So far so good. No issues whatsoever! So can we say that Indian 2.5 ZUI is enough to boot 4.4 kernels, as already reported by many users?? Although I still see none of the devs recommends this, there may be some sensors / component issues by skipping qfil?? we shall see..

Friend If your phone has already been installed zui 2.5 indiana (then installed the customs roms) Do not need to upgrade (install the Chinese 3.5 by qpst). The basebands do not come out of 1.70x only have one that is different that is 1.76 (mine is zuk z2 + (131) in it I put the zui 2.5 indiana and then went to the customs roms and now I went to the roms with kernel 4.4 without installing zui 3.5
