I love it. I hope you will create full odin for Android 6.x of N920A. Unable to update over US with AT&T

Acquisition of the software is definitely a great thing. My only question is this.... In past Samsung phones, flashing with Odin trips an "e-fuse" which forever forces a modified state on the device. For those of us that need the warranty or use the device under the AT&T Next plan, will flashing this void the warranty?

Me too. Same phone and model I live in Italy. At&t via Twitter told me the same thing. But why is it locked in this way even for an update?

No, the above firmware is not compatible with G928F. But one for G928F shouldn't be far, after all, today 6.0 firmware got out for G928C.
Now, you cannot flash G928C firmware on G928F. But there is a trick I guess. Look at this page where there is a guide on how S6 Edge users with model no. G925i could install a firmware meant actually for G925F. Good luck!! Although I will recommend you wait and watch until 6.0 firmware drops for your G928F.

Can anyone make a video for us of 6.0.1 on Edge+ just to show a taste of what to come in the update, e.g. always on display? since we're waited soo long and new edge panels.
I'm getting tired of checking for update on this fourm every 2 hours to see if 928F variant has been released. I will wait if someone produce a video showing of the features.

Apart from MM changes I belive we will pretty much only get general Samsung improvements and not new features, it's already been said that s6 edge+ won't get always on display

The S6 Edge 6.0.1 has the new panels. I'm pretty sure we will get the same, if not then Samsung that's just plain favouritism

Can I install on my UAE SM928C?

Downgrade H815 (Taiwan Version) from MM TO LP?

Well, I thought buying this phone would end my terrible relationship with ATT's Note 4 for good... Hell it's even an H815 for christ sakes....
But it seems like it can't be rooted on MM due its bootloader being locked :/
Yes, I did try using the official unlock tool but, as some of you know it doesn't work for the Taiwan version (Just my luck).
However, I looked around and saw that the Lollipop version can have root/twrp installed WITHOUT unlocking the bootloader.
In conclusion, my question is............. will I be able to downgrade from MM to Lollipop?

From what I know the H815 model can be unlocked. But I think it's only the International one. There's an unofficial unlock in the works, just look around on the forums, haven't been that interested 'cause I'm rocking an International model

I tried using the Official unlock tool but, it doesn't support the Taiwan version, even though it's an H815 :/
I did see that an unofficial tool is in the works but I mean....I just came from an ATT note 4 ........
...........I've been playing the wait game ever since November of 2014......

Lollipop, or LP, is version 5.1. Just look at the KDZ files that are Android 5.1

This is where it's beyond my knowledge....
You have to downgrade to LP if you want root.
If you go to the thread, he explains it pretty well.

miui 9.5 global stable update disappeared

xiaomi just released the 9.5 oreo global rom some hours back now it cant be found my uodste download was broken at 51% and then it kept showing no update miui even pulled the forum they posted on the release of the new rom does anybody know what really happened??

Update has been suspended due to some bugs

Had many bugs
Dual VoLTE not working, and security patch was of March! And guess what? It's the same stable update which was leaked lately as I've noticed both have same file name.

Yep! Same old, same old1 Unfortunately this kind of behavior is not uncommon for Xiaomi! Why they need this is beyond me! Let me just say that for such a big company this is disappointing and definitely not something what give us confidence to buy their phones and other products in the future. I mean, what's the point?! You buy something and then you hope that they give you fair amount of updates on regular base?! Just around corner but never there! C'mon Xiaomi!!!

MIUI camera is grainy. The quality has gone down. Battery life is fine. Haven't seen any drain yet.

hmmm... so if i understand correctly it's not recmmended to update to this ROM if you want a good working camera. How about if i use GCam? Would this help?

Chinese MiUi is partially different than Global version.
Since people in china are more into buying their stuffs so they throw in more updates as well as more supports.The reason why even Redmi 1s runs on Android 5.0 or above maybe being a very old device.
Zuk died and all its models are taken over to Lenovo line-up and ya zui being the their flavour of os in Moto's as well as Lenovo's Line-up they will be updating the firmware according to chinese ppl. Not Global ppl.

Shall we take a look at Samsung and the other incumbents? I'd consider Xiaomi as one of the most liberal when it comes to updates. Yes, the android version might not always be current depending on the device but atleast they're trying to keep even the cheapest devices fresh.

Sadly its only for China ppz.. indian version will never get Official Oreo and P ... Our only hope is Custom Roms

and what does a ZUI based on android P hurt your custom roms? It would only help devs to get better device sources, drivers and such

Latest Chinese Official Release for Z2 Plus is ZUI 4.0.199.
This is based on Oreo 8.0

There are other devices in queue now before ours.
Z5 pro and Z5 both only run 8.1.0, so expect them to get the Pie first, only us then.
