No MM rom yet for our P version?

Hi guys I was wondering why I can't find any Rom for my device , anyone of you ..if you have found something please inform us.

there are no custom roms for MM exclusively for our phone.
there is very little, if any, support going on for our phone/variant.
we used to have a flashable note5 porting zip but that only worked on 5.x.x
there is xposed, but you need to be deodexed for most of it to work.

If someone who is a dev and is reading this please think about us .. yes I have xposed but when i see the other roms on g928f..i get sad that my phone can't get it.

there is some hope...monkeyaround is attempting to modify the old note5 port patch to work with MM...although I think his attempts hard bricked his device

I also saw a rom I think it was called Infinity .. it as for note5/s6e+
On the new version they update it to sprint note 5 , but no sprint edge+

Try looking up Lamlazy rom v5.I use it on both S6 edge plus and my note 5,both sprint.Its a Vietnamese based rom but it's awesome.

Would be the only one I recommend using.
DO NOT FLASH NOTE 5 ROMS WITHOUT PROPER PATCH IT CAN BE THE PERMANENT DEATH OF YOUR DEVICE. THERE IS NOT PATCH FOR MM AS OF YET JUST LP.

Depends if there is a dev willing to port it over, which would require the dev to own this device. If you are willing to donate your device, I'm pretty sure somebody would be willing to port Lineage OS for it. If not, you will just have to wait until a dev gets a hold of this.

Progress so far for sm-g532 g/f:
*Kernel sources aquired for g/f/m/mt
*Samsung/mediatek sources aquired for g/f/m/mt
*kernels and recovery.fstab extracted for g/f
*BoardConfig.mk about complete (g/f)
Please be patient as i do not have a lot of time at the moment to work on this port.
Also, it's my first porting attempt

CameraApi2 is included in Los 14.1
So if we get this thing built and booted, then it should be there yes

Bro porting in custom ROM is so difficult. Some one has to make a porting guide , wait for that

It will not work because the stock camera app is a custom work of Huawei and the aosp Roms don't have the necessary blobs to run the emui camera app.
The porting may be done but even then there's no guarantee that every feature will work or not.

1- it's hard to port the stock camera app to a custom ROM.
2- no one (right now) wants to port it

No one wants to do isnt a correct word. It needs few efforts to do so.

What's the status on Oreo development?

I'm not asking in a passive aggressive way at all, but just curious what the hold up for aftermarket oreo roms is. Busy devs? Twrp issues? Other issues?

New Twrp is out. Doesn't work with SuperSU 2.82 SR4. But I'm sure Custom roms are flashable. Hopefully we will see something by the weekend?

You can't unless you remember what the password is (of course presuming this is your phone that you set your password on to begin with).
Also I would suggest you avoid asking for help on a totally unrelated subject matter then that of which a thread was created for. You should try searching for an answer first because you might just find it faster. If you can't then make a new thread and ask for help on an issue. It helps others find similar answers to questions like the one your asking and keeps the forum nice and tidy
