I have been working on a device tree since last year. And when ever anyone tries to compile my sources, it fails. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong on in my device tree? https://github.com/secretwolf98/device_samsung_degaswifi/tree/lineage-15.1
Thanks.

I've never developed a ROM but, your best bet is to post this question within the following thread Guide that's specific to your question.

Hi, I've wanted to modify and test a FlipFlap application for my ZF2 but I didn't find how to compile it
The link to the app: https://github.com/LineageOS/android_packages_apps_FlipFlap
Could you tell me how to compile this into an APK?
Thanks.

Unfortunately there is no wiki available for the Flip Flap, could you post a link that you were trying to navigate me to?

Okay... I may have misunderstood your question.
Let's go a different direction.
You may be able to obtain additional information within the following thread pages that contain discussions regarding the FlipFlap.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/one-a9/general/cm14-nightlys-discussion-support-t3510157/page107
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ze...cial-cyanogenmod-14-1-weekly-t3545692/page410
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ze...ficial-lineageos-14-1-nightly-t3529687/page39
If those didn't help you at all, then the last option, that I can think of, is to post your question within the following thread for your device.

I have the same question. Neither Android Studio, nor Eclipse recognize the downloaded project as valid. How can I compile it?
(I excluded the link to the app from the quote bc the forum didn't let me use links)

Hi I'm not sure if this is not the right thread to post this and I wanna apologize if it's the wrong one.
I'm trying to build lineageos for my Moto G2 (titan). When I try to extract the proprietary blobs
Sorry can't post urls
urlhttps://wiki.lineageos.org/extracting_blobs_from_zips.htmlurl
./extract-files.sh ./extract-files.sh ~/android/system_dump/ always says
No device is online. Waiting for one...
Please connect USB and/or enable USB debugging
I don't understand why it's waiting for a USB device since the reason of this is to extract them from an OTA file rather than a device running Lineageos.
Can someone please help me?
Thanks in advance

I was trying to build LineageOS for sm-j327p using the guide from the wiki, but I realize now that it is only for supported devices. I need help on how to build it. I already downloaded the source code, but I am not sure if I have to extract proprietary blobs, but even when I tried that, it didn't work because I didn't have a directory with the device specific files.
Thanks.

I don't have this device but, your best bet is to ask for support within the following Official LineageOS thread that's specific to your device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3459973
Also, I had located the following post from the above thread that a member had provided a possible fix for the low audio.

In response to this, the following duplicate thread you had posted and the multiple posts you had made within other threads...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3806773
... It looks like it's being worked on but, if there was a way, it looks like it just hasn't been posted yet yet.

None of these sites you mentioned are trustworthy and working. Where did you see that root is being worked on? I post on multiple thread because I figured others on the general android can see more than the specific device thread.
