hello guys, I tried using the search and advanced search on the page but still couldn't find which stock rom I need. At first, when I bought the phone the LTE (4g) worked. After a few months something happened to the phone, because it didn't work and I had to reinstall a RUU ( i couldn't make a backup). After installing the RUU the LTE didn't work anymore. I didn't use the phone in about a year because i changed my provider (WOM) company, but now I'm back to the previous one (ENTEL). My country is Chile and the operator ENTEL. Can you guide me in which RUU do i need to install to recover the LTE connection? if it is of any help my mother tongue is spanish but when I bought the phone it was in english. Another data that can be useful is that i wrote to HTC suppoert and they told me that my phone was designed to work in Saudi Arabia. Here is my phone's data:

You mention VodaFone, but this Forum is specifically devoted to the Verizon model of the HTC One.

Re post your question Here
I have a HTC One M8 Unlocked and I haven't been able to use the phone for a couple days because I think I bricked it. First I unlocked my bootloader (successful) and then I rooted my phone (I assume it went successful) and after that I ran the ViperOneM8 4.6.1 rom. I was in a hurry so I did not read that you were supposed to update your firmware before installing the rom. I ****ed up and installed the rom and I was left with a phone that couldn't connect to wifi. I tried to fix the problem but I think I just made it worse and now I don't know what to do. Any help/links would be greatly appreciated thank you!

Check this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/general/vomerguides-m8-bootldr-unlock-s-off-t2800727
and update your firmware to at least 4.16.401.10
And no need to root if you are installing a (already rooted) custom rom ! Useless and totally unnecessary.
People should stop thinking that they "root the phone", you are only modding the running OS to give it root access !
My phone is soft-bricked, and I couldn't find the right RUU to fix it anywhere. Here is a copy of the fastboot getvar all results.

I found these RUUs here http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8/general/official-ruu1-55-605-2-t2883845 ,
but it's said that they are for the M8_VZW, and my device is M8_WLV. I don't if they're the same, and I don't know if I can use these RUUs for my device without causing issues with the connection. I'm worried about the GSM/CDMA differences. I use GSM btw.
Please help I really need it to fix my phone.

You have the Verizon Model ID (MID) and product name, those are the correct RUUs.

You are advised to immediately stop trying to flash any other RUU. You have the Verizon version. No other RUUs (other m8 versions) are compatible, and may even cause permanent damage (radio brick)!
Only RUUs intended for Verizon M8 will work with your device.
To unlock 3G, 3G bands on your version, your best bet is to look at the following: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/general/unlock-bands-qualcomm-device-phone-t2880239
