i have S-OFF , ViperOne 6.1.0,TWRP recovery, i have 2 problems, 1-no sound, 2-Bootloops after reboot,
i cant do anything related to sound like playing vids and calls. after it reboots like 20 times it opens again but with no sound !
the problem happened i think when i installed xposed and forgot to wipe cache and Dalvik,
what i have done already : Wiped everything, cache, internal, factory reset, ..
flashed htc ViperOne rom again,,, the sound came back again but after the 2nd reboot i got bootloop, after it opened like 10min later: no sound ! ,, there is no sound even in the stock rooted version 4.2.2
is there anything i can flash to restore the sound
note : my charging port is damaged so i cant get device info unfortunately
Thanks you

Yesterday my desire wouldn't get online anymore, i rebooted it and it got stuck on the first screen.
Tried to wipe cahe, dalvik, factory reset, wipe system, boot, everyting i could wipe was done, but nothing helped.
I was running insertcoin stable rom 1.0.9
I tried to do a nandroid restore of a previous rom, that worked, but it looked all screwed up and when i pressed the menu button and took settings, i got an error that the program was no longer installed.
When i locked the phone, the bottom menu was not there anymore, i also was unable to shut down the phone, pressing the power button only locked the phone.
After a lot of messing around, i finally got the latest insertcoin rom up and running.
Weird thing is that it loads the boot animation that i installed whit the nandroid rom.
Boot time is very slow, the rom seems to run very stable and fast.
Any idea how to completely get rid of everything and start fresh ?
I'm rooted and s-oof and wanna stay that way
Thx,
Steve
If you want to start a fresh then go into recovery and wipe all the partitions, boot, system, data, cache, android_secure, ext then flash a rom
I did all that :-(
I even did a complete format of my sd card, re-partioned it.
Maybe i should do it again ?
Strange thing is that the rom seems to work fine, but the boot animation is from another rom ??
Thx for the reply,
Steve
Hello,
got 1 week ago my HOX and my dad rooted it already installed fastboot and everything.
But i had one problem. When i tried to play music via loudspeaker, the device rebooted. So i installed the ARHD 9.3.2. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562603) via teamwin and didnt wipe anything and also had only 23% voltage... The device played music via loudspeaker and that stuff everything went right but i had no signal because it stuck on flightmode. So i decided to restart the device but when i did that it stuck while boot and rebooted. ANd when i try to get into fastboot it stucks on HBoot with the text : Checking SD Card Update... i cant get into recovery mode nothing... pls help me :crying:
Hello to everyone
I face s serious problem, with Runny Rom 7.0 beta.
The phone used to work until previous night. Suddenly, today in the morning i found the phone switched off, when I tried to turn it on the phone freezed at the HTC logo screen. Tried 4 times, but nothing!!
I cleared dalvik cache, nothing.
I installed Runny Rom ver. 6.1.1, cause it is more stable, but nothing!!!
The phone keeps freezing at the startup screen with the HTC logo. I have already waited from > 30 minutes so it cannot be CPU work load.
Any suggestions?

Froze at bootscreen
Hi can you help me with this, I installed a theme that required me to reboot phone for the font to take effect, now I am stuck at bootscreen...
I am running MIUI, ICS version...
HTC DESIRE phone...
Im ignorant to all this...help me please..
I am rooted and was on PA 3.99 when suddenly the phone got switched off and started the bootloop,
Here is the list of the things I have already tried
1) Wipe Data
2) Wipe Dalvik
3) Unroot
4) Lock again
5) Flash factory
there was a time when there was no rom on the phone.
Surprisingly when I flash factory ICS it starts but after 10 mins of bootloop,
and if I flash factory JB it bootloops till the battery drains off.
Even when flashed factory ICS it asked for the over the air update and when I did it, It again started doing bootloops.
Is this problem with the hardware or software?
I love this phone, I dont want to switch. Please help

if u still can boot to main screen its only software problem..
Today i started messing around with Recovery and ROMS.
I saw ( There ) , that you can dual boot stock with another Rom so i wanted to try it.
I downloaded MIUI and OpenGapps , Make a boot+system android backup in TWRM , and flashed patched MIUI zip to extsd card slot 1 , then I flashed GApps.
After rebooting i saw MIUI boot screen but then a black screen with Navigation buttons and status bar , after a minute i got lots a GApps force close's.
I thought it flashed wrong so I rebooted back to recovery and flashed it again , same result.
After trying to install without GApps i got stuck in recovery , so I restored my backup I made earlier and cleared Dalvik + Cache to boot to my stock.
It restored perfectly , after booting i saw the "Optimizing apps" dialog but after 10th app i began to receive fc's for NFC , LG Service's and LGATCMD.
I restored the backup again , same result.
Then used the "Repair File System" option on /system and Repaired permissions.
Now after the boot animation it shows me an black screen with green/blue Led , LDB FC , then LG System Server , NFC and LG P2P. after clicking ok the boot animation shows up again and it loops forever.
Anyway to fix this without factory reset? or Am I soft bricked?
