Today i started messing around with Recovery and ROMS.
I saw ( There ) , that you can dual boot stock with another Rom so i wanted to try it.
I downloaded MIUI and OpenGapps , Make a boot+system android backup in TWRM , and flashed patched MIUI zip to extsd card slot 1 , then I flashed GApps.
After rebooting i saw MIUI boot screen but then a black screen with Navigation buttons and status bar , after a minute i got lots a GApps force close's.
I thought it flashed wrong so I rebooted back to recovery and flashed it again , same result.
After trying to install without GApps i got stuck in recovery , so I restored my backup I made earlier and cleared Dalvik + Cache to boot to my stock.
It restored perfectly , after booting i saw the "Optimizing apps" dialog but after 10th app i began to receive fc's for NFC , LG Service's and LGATCMD.
I restored the backup again , same result.
Then used the "Repair File System" option on /system and Repaired permissions.
Now after the boot animation it shows me an black screen with green/blue Led , LDB FC , then LG System Server , NFC and LG P2P. after clicking ok the boot animation shows up again and it loops forever.
Anyway to fix this without factory reset? or Am I soft bricked?

Hello,
I have a great problem with my Motorola. I installed battery icon mod without reading for which phone it's made and used it. Now I can't use my phone, because it's stopping at this logo before system. I had Cyanogenmod 7 (last nightly before RC), but when I destroyed it by this application first thing I did was wipe. After it nothing has changed, so I tried again and I flashed it with normal 2.2 Nordic but - as I "predicted" - nothing has changed again, but this time system was stopping at Android logo, not Cyanogenmod logo. I tried to flash again - nothing. The device can be charged (there appears this battery).
What should I do?

Go into the stock recovery and wipe data. Then re-flash the sbf.
I did it already, but I forgot, that I can do wipe after flashing the device I thought about it and did it - everything is working. Sorry for useless thread.
Regards.
I wanted to ask at the same time. What if i can't enter stock recovery. My phone's rooted , slightly overclocked , and i can't download any apps , i can't do factory reset , and even when i'm trying to enter it , the android pic would appear with that "danger - triangle". What should be done?

The triangle IS the stock recovery! when you see the triangle with the little android dude, hit both up and down volume at the same time. This will bring up a menu that will allow you to do a factory wipe.
And another question. I've installed custom recovery , and it said that install was succsesful , but when I apply recovery boot , it just reboots my phone , or lefts screen blacked out, at which case i have to turn on my phone by removing and applying battery.

Not sure I understand the questions, but I'll take a stab at it anyway:
Since we have a locked bl, the custom recovery does not overwrite the stock recovery.
As far as I know, the only way to get in to custom recovery, is to push the vol down when the blue light goes on during the boot cycle.

If it was a first reboot after installing Custom Recovery than USB Debbug should be off...
Hey there,
I use a LGG4 international version (H815). It is rooted and runs AICP Rom (MM 6.0.1). Xposed is not installed. It runs latest SUPERXE kernel.
While browsing the web it randomly got a blackscreen and an error message (some kind of log whats happening) showed up. It said that the kernel crashed. Rebooting did nothing, even while it booted the same error screen shows up, but this time with a green background. I booted to twrp and wiped everything, reinstalled the kernel and the system. And again, the same green error screen. I tried again and i could actually use the rom (Latest Genesys rom) for some minutes, then i got a random reboot. Even twrp hanged itself up and/or rebooted. Now I dont have any system installed and cant boot to twrp because the green error screen (see attached pic) shows up after the twrp boot screen. Is my phone ****ed?
Oh, and my external SD somehow died, cant recover it from windows or any other phone. So maybe the storage of the phone itself is damaged too?
Please help!
Thanks in advance
Aicp =/= stock rom.

I know, that's why I switched back to a stock based rom. And I tried too with completely LG stock rom, same issue.
Hello dear friends.I have a really boring problem about my phone. It has been installed a Cyanogenmod 11 on the phone for about a year. And suddenly it started to restart itself.Once it starts it always continues to do that like a boot loop.Anyway
-I tried to wipe dalvik and the cache. And it worked for one day. Then it started to do it again. So i tried to format the rom from philz recovery. It didnt work.
-Sometimes it restarts after i enter the pin code.So i tried to remove it.But the problems occurs anyway.
-I had a backup and i restored it.Although i restored the rom it continued to restart.
-Finally i downloaded an original samsung rom and flashed it by odin. But nothing changes.
first screen appears, then a samsung boot screen comes by a sound tone and samsung emblem shows itself. Then it restarts. So it goes to a bootloop.Alway goes between the first screen and samsung boot screen.I never see pin code entry screen. What do you think for the problem?Might it be a hardware problem?
Did you perform a factory reset using stock recovery before booting the phone for the first time after flashing stock?
Tried starting with and without being connected to a charger?
Samsung note 2 n7100 stopped at logo , when I install wrong recovery .img by flashify and the device unconnected to odin
I tried to update to the latest update to the Razer Phone and was able to install it successfully, but when I went to install Magisk on the new update, it caused the Wifi to stop working. For that reason, I tried to restore my old TWRP backup I made prior to updating which everything was working before updating. I wiped cache, dalvik, data and system and restored my old backup. Now when I try to boot, it gets stuck at the Razer logo and doesn't get past that. I also tried wiping data and restoring the system image only to no avail and it didn't do anything.
Have you tried booting to TWRP and booting The other [email protected]
How long did you wait on the Razer logo.. When I reset my phone after relocking it.. It took 10+min for first boot. I was scared it wasn't gonna work but I just left it alone and it eventually booted itself up

Thanks. I'll try that and see if it works. But I let it sit for 5 or so minutes.
Edit: I'll go ahead and add it was stuck at the Razer logo. It never got to the actual boot animation.
Edit 2: I let it sit for 20+ minutes and it wouldn't boot or get past the Razer logo.

Yes I've tried switching slots and it didn't work.
Any luck with the stuck at logo screen? I followed instructions from Razer and fkashall and now it won't boot to recovery download or system . It just hangs at the logo screen for better part of 2 hours now so it's not a waiting game .. any luck in fixing yours?
hi there, same here after flashing google pixel experience on razer phone1. seems to be a general problem for many users. Any hints?
Best regards
Michael
I have the same problem, but I wasn't updating or installed any new app. I was just ordering food from an app and then all of a sudden my phone restared and got stuck in a bootloop.
I reflashed the stock rom, over and over, slot a or slot b, hoping that would fix it somehow... it's just stuck there now. I could go into download mode and recovery mode. but, it's only until there.
now it's bootloop until it gets into download mode...

I could fix it. After flashing (even Android Pi) you have to do a factory reset.
IMPORTANT: THE FACTORY RESET IN TWRP DOES NOT WORK. So you have to flash the boot-sector in your system partition with the stock boot.img and reset to STOCK RECOVERY by typing "fastboot reboot" and pressing the vol-up button. Once in stock recovery, do a factory reset and return to bootloader. Now you can flash the boot.partition with twrp boot.img, install in recovery the stock boot.img, install the twrp-installer.zip and reboot to system. The bootlogo will not stuck anymore.
I hope, I could help you. Do not forget to backup before trying.
Best regards
Mellus
sry for my bad english
I recently tried to change my boot animation with the "Boot Animations for Superuser" app on the Play Store and now my phone won't boot anymore, I had the latest PixelExperience 9.0 installed and was rooted with magisk 20. When I boot up the phone it displays the "Your phone has been unlocked and can't be trusted message for around 60 seconds whilst vibrating once or twice and after that, the screen turns black and it continues to vibrate every couple of minutes. I still have access to TWRP and fastboot but I haven't found a way to get my boot animation back yet. I have flashed numerous boot animations but to no avail. I don't want to revert back to stock because I have seen various posts around here about people losing their IMEI numbers.
Does anybody have a solution?

Dirty Flash the PE rom and it will bring back the PE boot animation for your device and boot your device.

Try formatting system from advanced wipe
Then flash rom zip gapps and magisk
If it doesn't boot then your data partition has also been modified and unless you know what changes were made or you created a twrp backup before the changes were made then you will also have to format data too

Flash the magisk uninstall zip first to clean up any modules you may have
Also if you are flashing cannery builds of magisk try going back to stable versions
