hi
i have a desire with leedroid 2.2d , i want to install the psfreedom.img recovery image , how can i do this?
thanks
How can I flash the recovery image please anybody
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
I'd say place it in a folder on your SD and try to restore it with the restore option in recovery mode. However without md5 sum it certainly will not accept it... good luck !

just use a command prompt to navigate to the tools folder inside the android sdk, connect your device in fastboot mode to your pc, and use the command "fastboot flash recovery xxxxxx.img" (i think) or it might just be "fastboot flash xxxxxxx.img ive never had to flash a recovery from fastboot
tried it and it says psfMod-bravo-0.9.7.1.img not found???
which folder do i have to keep the image in?
I meant it says it cannot be loaded the recovery image file. But what folder do I have to keep the file in

So I accidentally formatted system and my sd card in touch recovery (don't ask) and now my phone is in bootloop because it has no Rom. For some reason I can't mount sd card through recovery and I can't find a mac tool to help me flash back to stock. Can someone please help!
Use fastboot and flash the Google factory recovery image system.img
Thanks for your reply. Can you please tell me how to do this
I am downloading the images now and I know how to get into fastboot. I just need to know that mac commands
I am unsure of mac commands but on windows through ADB you unzip the system image until you see the recover.img, system.img, and such. Place the system.img file into you adb platform tools file and then open command prompt and type fastboot flash system system.img and let it install then you reboot
Damn I have no clue man
Check this out it may help you a bit

I got it working. Thanks guys
Hello,
I deleted the system and cache for installing another ROM.
But the ROM doesn't work (can't install it..), so my OS is deleted.
I can't connect the SD to my pc, because the memory is build-in.
How can I connet my SD to my pc, to put another .zip on it?
I don't know if it is allowed, but the one who can help me get 15 euro's (about 20 dollars) by Paypal.
It's urgent.
Greetings.
Assuming you are a one x user, and have unlocked your bootloader and installed a custom recovery, upgrade your recovery to cwm 5.8.4.0 with using the following command from your pc where fastboot files and cwm recovery.img files are
Fastboot flash recovery nameofrecoveryfile.img
Then boot into bootloader, go to hboot, select recovery. Once in there, go to mounts and storage. There you can mount your sdcard.
Clicking thanks button is more than enough.

I got into the same situation but my recovery was also wiped out and I've tried using ADB to push recovery image in and it says successful but when I try rebooting into recovery from hoot, it just went into the quietly brilliant screen. Any help or tips would be appreciated.
Fastboot erase cache
Then you should be able to enter recovery

ADB said the command failed or something thus I wasn't able to enter. Any advice?
Use fastboot, not adb.
Yep you use fastboot to install the recovery. Not adb

I have a ze551ml I have rooted and unlocked my bootloader. when i went to install twrp i put the file on my sd card and when i go to
adb and put the command in su then dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/by-name/recovery its telling me twrp no such file or directory. Anyone tell me what im doing wrong? thank you
Make sure you are dropping the file on internal SD and not external.
I put it in both just in case . do i have the command wrong? my twrp is 12mb
the error im getting is no such file or directory.
Why not flash by recovery?
anyone have any suggestions?
r u sure the twrp file name is correct?
yeah its twrp.img
Try /storage/sdcard0
Can use Flasify app to flash recovery image.
Or Partition backup app to flash recovery partition.
Sent from my SM-A300H using XDA Free mobile app
flashify still hangs no idea hwo to use the partition app. tried downloading twrp on the playstore but my model isnt listed. could i use another asus phone thats listed>?]
new line command for sdcard0 would be this? dd if=/storeage/sdcard0/twrp.img of=/dev/block/by-name/recovery
still wont work
/storage/sdcard0/
Or
/mnt/sdcard/
Sent from my SM-A300H using XDA Free mobile app
from ur pc
adb reboot bootloader
phone will reboot to fastboot
verify that ur device is detected by
fastboot devices
then do fastboot flash recovery "path to the twrp file on the pc"
for example "fastboot flash recovery d:\twrp.img"
Do that on ur own risk
For some reason doing it that way worked lol
did fastboot flash recovery c:\twrp.img
shrug, thank you to whomever suggested that!!!!
Hey friends,
I was using TWRP to install freedom os on my op3 but I accidentally wiped the system. Now there aren't any roms in my storage including the stock rom. Also, my backups were deleted so there is literally nothing for me to launch. I tried to sideload the stock os using TWRP but it says I need fastboot 1.0.32 or higher to fastboot this device, which I'm pretty sure I already have.
PLEASE HELP.
Thanks in advance,
Gavin

Just boot into TWRP (which has native MTP) and move the rom files to your internal storage. Then flash.

Hey,
I can't move files to my sd card from my computer when I'm in TWRP. How do you do this?
Connect to PC and start fastboot command prompt
Boot in to TWRP
Go to ADB Sideload
and sideload a ROM like FreedomOS
Fixed.

I've tried doing this but it tells me the sideload failed because I need a newer version of fastboot

You don't need to do all that, when in twrp plug in to a PC and there should appear a pop-up on your PC, if not then there's something wrong with drivers. I had a situation like this before and it was easier then ever with the OP3
Hey guys,
I fixed my oneplus using adb sideload. Thanks a lot!
