I finally managed to install the latest twrp, and flashed lineageOS-14.1 for t310 and gapps. I got the tablet working with this recovery and rom, but now I want to flash the kernel so I am able to OC the CPU and other hardware changes.
I tried kernoleOC for t31x v6, but when I flash the kernel and reboot it just gets stuck on the boot screen and continuously shows boot animation. It won't do anything else besides this.
2 questions, what do I need to try to do to stop it from looping at boot animation? Also, can someone recommend another custom kernel for tab 3 8.0 t310 running lineageOS-14.1 which allows for hardware customization like OC and uv.
Any suggestions and help is appreciated.

Hello,
i've got a problem with my sony arc.
I was on jjhybrid 3.2 and doomkernel, and i had some problem with battery. So i tried to change the kernel with arcknight 3.3. After flashing the kernel with the fastboot command (fastboot boot boot.img) the kernel did not load. It appeared the new "logo" of arcknight kernel (batman) but after trying to boot, the phone did a reboot and then automatically appeared again the doomkernel, and the phone was bricked on the kernel logo. (android wouldn't load).
So i flashed via "flashtool" the original kernel, now the phone works and it does load the stock kernel and android too.
But i still can't change my kernel.
Every time i try, it flash the kernel, the new kernel tries to load, the new logo appeares, the phone reboot automatically, the stock kernel logo appeares again.
Does anybody know which problem it could be?
Thank you and sorry for my english.
Did you check if the kernel was compatible with the rom? if it is do a full re-flash of the ROM and re-flash the kernel
Thank you for reply.
By now, i don't know why, i tried again and it worked.
Now the phone works with new kernel.
Before that, i tried a full refresh of rom and kernel, but it didn't worked. Still the same problem appeared. The kernel was correct.
In practice, now the phone works and i don't know why. I can't comprehend what the problem was. Hope it doesn't happen again!
I suggest a movie: Paranormal phone activity 3.
Okay, so first of I am using a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, running MF1, and the latest version of the Paranoid android port for the ace 2. CPU is clocked to 1100mhz. I was playing a game just now when suddenly the phone switched off by itself.
When I tried to boot it up again the boot animation was flickering and after which the phone just died, blackscreen.
I am unable to boot into recovery, the phone just shows a black screen but I am able to boot into download mode.
Is this considered a brick? Any help would be appreciated.
You can check out my thread.
You should try to install LK6 or MG2 rom.
E: or first, the kernel : Chrono kernel for ODIN

Flash full 3-parted FW with ODIN.
Hi, im trying to flash the perseus alpha 3.36 kernel but for some reason whenever I try to install it I get a black screen on boot, or boot loop on device name logo, to fix it i simply load up my nandroid backup.
I've tried installing it via odin:
Once it finishes installing it says Pass with a green background but when it resets , bootloop/blackscreen
I've tried installing it via twrp using a kernel changer from the assassin ressurection custom rom thread.
Oh and 1 important detail: I'm using stock rom (rooted)
I did check see someone saying they got it to work on there phone using a stock rom, so why cant I?
ThanQ
after flashing and the bootloop / black screen can you still get to recovery ?
i copped this a few times when i first had android on my i9000 turned out although designed for my phone the phone didnt like it, and had to use a different kernel.
if you can get into recovery try flashing it again
or get to d/l mode then with adb
adb reboot recovery
Ok im fed up trying different roms and always get stuck at rom's boot logo.
First of all my device details found in info app. (im using dn4 v2 rom at the moment)
Current baseband: ddufnd1
Using TWRP 2.8.3.0
Samsung GT-N7100
Bootloader : N7100XXUFND3
CPU implementer: 0x41
CPU architecture: 7
CPU variant: 0x3
CPU part: 0xc09
CPU revision: 0
Now the problem:
im not able to get passed the boot logo of following roms which i checked.
CM11 official latest snapshot
Omni rom latest kk nightly
probam kk
Diamond rom 8
Omega rom latest
And some others.
All of them just get stuck at rom's boot logo and never go forward even i waited 2 hours :/
And i have a backed up stock rom that also dont boot when i restore from twrp. It was backed up by same twrp. It also get stuck at boot logo
And now there is are some roms which always work for me.
DN4 rom
some jellybean roms
Never tried any lollypop rom so not sure abt them.
But i want cm11 or omni kk rom. And both not working.
I will really appreciate if someone can tell me what is wrong with my device???
And give solution to it too.
Sent from my GT-N7100
i always clean install those roms, wipe everything except extsd and then installed those roms,
so don't say to clean install, i'm not a noob in installing roms.
Hello,
I'm having a few issues with installing custom boot animations. I download the boot animation ready to flash using twrp. When I flash the zip file all goes smoothly, no errors at all. I reboot and its the same boot animation as it was before. If anyone could help me or give me any suggestions I would be extremely greatful
Below I have listed some info
My phone:
Galaxy S9 - SM-G960F
ElementalX Kernel
cr Droid custom rom
Rooted with magisk
Twrp recovery
are you sure it's the right zip and it has the necessary files in it?

most common issues with custom boot anim's is the format. If the one youre flashing is set to a DPI outside of what the bootloader knows the panel is capable of, then itll just revert to the old one or none at all. I ran into this all the time when i was making my own for my old Evo. I flashed a rick astley anim on a buddies phone just to be a prick like 10 years ago it was pretty epic
