Hello guys
i got the 3 giga byte / 32 internal for about 80 dollars
wat's good about the phone
1- 3 giga ram - 32 internal storage
2- excellent screen coloring and brightness + gorilla glass 3
3- very good in gaming
4- free ram is about 1.2 gigabyte so multi tasking is very good
5- rear cam take very good pics in good lighting, front camera with flash wide angle and it's very good as well and the camera app is simple (copy of snap camera).
6- network and call quality is very good
7- wifi signal is better than my brother s7 edge
8- Material is very good and design is cool
wat's bad about the phone
1- Dailer bug (when i try to call sometimes it works from the first time sometimes two times sometimes three sometimes i get mad) i googled it and found that it's a problem with android 5.0.* i tried every thing possible to fix it but couldn't, got more than 50 bootloops and still trying.
2- the ui animation is slow even with changing the launcher and lowering the animations from developer mode still sucks
battery is below normal and full charging time is about 3 hours i wish if the screen was HD it would be better i decreased the resolution using app called ituner (tried alot of apps and this one is the best) but it didn't help with the battery or the animations
3- the speaker quality is good but very low, if the phone is ringing in crowd you won't be able to hear it.
4- GPS is not fast and the signal sucks and drop alot, it's maybe software problem.
5- take long time to boot
6- no cases and no screen protectors no updates no support, the company left the business maybe
I rooted the phone and installed xposed
couldn't fix the bugs but got some new features
i also tried to port roms from devices with same specs, i tried more than 10 stock roms none booted
i kept searching and trying till i found two rom booted successfully
drive.google/uc?export=download&confirm=gCAD&id=1ct6TCHxTeYUxy89Y5pFxNhURrgrh7dsZ (this rom is better)

Hello guys,
VIO is a free Windows Mobile Application based on motion detection
How does it work ?
--------------------------------------
VIO uses the phone's camera to capture and detect any motion.
Motion will be detected by comparing the actual picture with one reference picture that will be automatically refreshed (settings allow you to specify when it must be refreshed)
Two ways of comparison are available :
- Squares
Easy way and really fast ; the picture will be cut to squares, you just need to specify square's width + squares sensibility + minimum squares needed to trigger an alert
- Edges
More accurate but slower ; the difference between actual picture and reference picture will give us some zones, these zones will be extracted one by one, if one contains the minimum pixels needed you set then it will trigger an alert.
When motion is detected VIO will :
- save picture as .jpg
- send mails containing pictures to the email address you defined.
- send sms to alert you anywhere
More descriptions (V1 infos, i didn't updated about V2 now) here :
http://vio-detection.com/index.php?page=vio
Versions
----------------------
V2
==
- Edges detection
- Dead zones
- New menu
- Play sound on motion detected
V1
==
- Detect any motion
- Automatically save pictures
- Send emails with pictures included
- Send sms alert
- Set detection sensibility
- Compatible from Windows Mobile 5.0 to 6.5
- Compatible with all screen resolutions
- Need NET Compact Framework 3.5
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Site : http://vio-detection.com
Use it as you wish, Enjoy
how this works ..can u put across more stuff...
tashan
There it is
I didn't give a lot of explications but it's better to try by yourselves.
Tried on HD2, but it does not capture anything. Should I be able to see the camera or?
You're the second one to tell me that it doesn't works on HD2, actually i don't have any clue.
Can you tell me what camera's resolutions are available plz ?
Plus if you find a file like "VIO-Errors.log" in your root can you plz tell me the content ?
Thanks
I will give i a try, because i will test all apps that's support the cam.
But one question i have now:
Which camera is used in this case (back or front)?
Report:
Tested on my phone (signature), but the app will not startup.
I see the cursor animation but nothing happens. Softreset was done.

Hey
No error log The camera solutions - well I dont know but its 5MP...
I will try to run all the solutions in VIO. BUT - should I be able to SEE the camera caoture?
Yep there must be a live preview, don't waist your time by searching if any other parameters will fix it, if you already don't have any preview then it will not works.
I f i got free time maybe i will try to find what the problem is.
Thanks
Thanks for the share. VIO works as specified with no errors on HTC Touch (cdma).
WRITE WITH BIG RED LETERS IN YOUR POST THAT THIS APP VIO CAN TOTALY MESS YOUR DEVICE AND ONLY HARD RESET WILL HELP YOU!!!
Im very pissed my phone was super costumized and etc.. after i install VITO cab and restart... ONLY Blank Screen the Phone even don`t wana START so only Volume Key Down + Volume Key Up + Power Button HELP me!!!

Any app under development can cause problems. It's all use at your own risk otherwise you'd be buying it off an app store. Hopefully you backed up your phone extensively and can restore it.

Works perfectly on my Mogul. Awesome!
In my HTC HD2 log file, show something about cannot find Pinvoke on Native.dll
Works fine on my Diamond but only after installing it to the main mem. Doesn't like being installed to internal storage.
Thanks!!

Theoretically couldnt this app be used to emulate an accelerometre on devices that lack the hardware, or am I completely wrong?

Hi, it's probably linked to the file "\Program Files\VIO\settings.conf", please try to delete it and start the app.
To Uppy => yep it can be done somehow but it's really hard to make something reliable for some reasons :
- how do the phone know his start position
- only slow motions can make it works because of the slow fps
- etc..
I see, still an interesting idea, even if it's not practical.
Great app, none the less
Great app with much potential, thank you.
I think this is a great app. But there is one thing I am missing why not send the email through wifi. In that case you can put your phone any where in the reach of your network. (great for spare phones)
This thread is part of Han's help plan (click here for more info)
i hope you guys find this usefull ive probably spent about 400 hours in total just browsing the internet for anything that is useful and not too complicated ive also been testing many different things for a while too
Updated: 15th of may
I made this thread for general tricks tips etc just so you know
Xperia S tips
Undervolting -
Undervolting your Phone can cause issues. undervolting your phone from its default settings is usefull (saves battery and stuff) but undervolting too much can cause your android to have a lack of power to some parts and well CRASH!, same with overvolting , too much and it will burn out parts., i suggest taking it step by step untill you get a slight lag.
-/system/app
Take not Un-installing unnecessary apps like maps facbook and talk will SPEED up your phone Alot. WARNING - uninstalling the wrong app can cause your phone to bootloop so you will have to RE-Flash the rom or do a restore
-Sreenshots ICS (im sure this will be like this in Jelly bean)(At first i was Like WTF?!!)
This took me a while to find but in ICS to take a Screenshot you press the power button (button on top of your device) and the Volume down)
-Camera Quality
Lower ISO means less noise but darker images , raise the Exposure enough to match your image to well what you see , superior auto is kinda useless, , i find 200 Iso is best because it captures colour quite decently, anyway what im saying is Manualy set up your camera for best quality AIs are never good at guessing
-Battery life
ive knoticed that com.sonyericson.android.wakeup stopped my phone from sleeping over 100's of times in about 4 hours , so if possible delete or freeze it , your device would sleep properly and your battery would last months well if it was sleeping. anyway i tried to avoid using apps like ilumination notifacation , it made my phone not sleep and well killed my battery
-Lag
Take note lot of build properties make your device lag more, it is best to use few and ones that ACTUALLY WORK
you can use a entropy generator (Seeder thread) this is the best way remove of lag
here are some that may help with touch response, these have made my device feel a tiny bit less laggy when scrolling
Touch response
touch.pressure.scale= 1.0 [instead of 0.0075]
touch.size.scale= 20.00 [ instead of 16.91]
touch.size.bias= 70.00 [instead of 67.65]
View.scroll_friction=10
ro.sf.compbypass.enable=0
persist.sys.use_dithering=0
ro.max.fling_velocity=12000
ro.min.fling_velocity=8000
Camera quality (these can cause focus problems)
ro.media.enc.jpeg.quality=100
ro.media.dec.jpeg.memcap=192000
ro.media.enc.hprof.vid.bps=192000
-Rom/Kernel Thingys
-bootloaders and kernels
BIG NOTE - YOU CANT INSTALL KERNELS ON LOCKED BOOT-LOADERS
to check if your boot-loader is locked go to your phone keypad (where you put phone numbers in) and punch in *#*# 7378423#*#*
it should open something called "Service Menu" you would want to then go to Service info then Configuration
There should be some text below everything else saying Rooting Status: Bootloader unlocked: yes. this means you can unlock your bootloader
to unlock your bootloader you can use the sony flashtool and run a bootloader unlock , from then you can install custom kernels compatible with your ROM and your Device
-roms
installing some roms means you sometimes need a custom kernel (like i said earlier unlocked bootloader) there are instructions to install on Almost all ROMS/Kernels, YOU MUST FOLLOW THEM ALL otherwise you may encouter problems (example wifi not working because mis-installant of kernel)
-Dual Boot
having a dual boot system on your device may make it alittle more laggy thats only just after installing i have noticed once its run through everything a couple of times its less laggy
-memory cleaners
most memory cleaners can cuase problems ive had a few issues with apps being damaged by a ram clearer of sutch
-Bare results
Build.prop
touch response= smoother , mild increase in performance
camera quality= less noise , focusing problems
other props= more lag (tested props)
Dual boot= only laggy after fresh install on loop Rom/kernel
Seeder= perfect (dont use android tuner entropy generator and seeder at the same time causes FC on seeder)
anything else , just ask me and ill test it
sorry for bad English, English is my 5th language and it is the hardest thing ive found to learn so far

Prologue
This topic is dedicated to my attempt crafting a properly working CM11s port for the Oppo Find 7a based on the recently released OnePlus One image dump on phandroid.
This project is in its early alpha stages and can be seen as uncharted (bug infested) territory, don't expect miracles, but compared to ColorOS it should still be an overall improvement.
Latest Version Download
CM11s Version 4 (if you need SDCard Support, combine with Version 3 Support Package)
SDCard Support Package Version 3
Older Version Download
CM11s Version 3
CM11s Version 2
SDCard Support Package Version 2
CM11s Version 1
SDCard Support Package Version 1
How to install (if you wish to use internal storage)
1. Install TWRP Recovery on your phone
2. Install the CM11s Basic Installation Package on your phone
3. Do Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Cache / Internal Storage (this will delete all your data inside your internal storage!) inside TWRP Recovery
4. Reboot your phone
How to install (if you wish to use SDCard storage)
1. Format your SDCard to the EXT4 filesystem (make sure to disable EXT4 Journaling while you do this) using a Linux Computer / Virtual Machine
2. Copy the CM11s Basic Installation Package and the SDCard Support Package onto your phones internal storage or the freshly formated EXT4 SDCard
3. Plug the EXT4 SDCard into your phone
4. Install TWRP Recovery on your phone
5. Install the CM11s Basic Installation Package on your phone
6. Install the SDCard Support Package on your phone
7. Do Wipe -> Advanced Wipe -> Cache inside TWRP Recovery
8. Reboot your phone
What works?
WiFi
Mobile Connectivity & Data
SDCard Support (via separate support package)
Camera (including 4k recording)
Sound
Bluetooth
GPS
What doesn't work? / Known Bugs
WiFi reception is glitchy (known OnePlusOne bug, we have to wait until we get a new OTA that fixes this)
Force Close in SIM Subscription Settings (known OnePlusOne bug, we have to wait until we get a new OTA that fixes this)
NFC
Flashlight / Camera LED
Voice Wakeup (training works, but actual wakeup doesn't)
SDCard Support is suboptimal (at the moment you can only use internal storage OR sdcard, but not both (I'm working on this already))
Some applications still show upside-down back-facing camera (Barcode Scanner for example, could be a legacy camera support issue as all applications that use the new kitkat API work fine)
Sound is extremely low in video recordings (nothing critical, can be upsampled on a computer post-production, but still annoying)
Rare random force-closes (seems to have something to do with I/O timeouts)
Changelog
Version 4
Fixed inverted Accelerometer X-Axis (this fixes the landscape rotation issues apps were having)
Version 3
Improved Proximity Sensor Configuration (thanks to m3dd0g)
Fixed Back-Camera Orientation
Version 2
Removed NFC (broken)
Improved Battery Life
Improved I/O Performance
Fixed VOOC Charging
Version 1
Initial Release (thanks to graffixnyc for his filesystem dump @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2751401)

Most likely yep since lesscro stated his intention to make a graphic in the other CM11s thread and then said it was a gift for the thread in the post here.
Side note nice graphic, I wish I had an ounce of artist creativity let alone the ambition to use it.
Nice work and big thanks for the threat header/banner. Looks great.
I know it´s early,but Francisco Franco stated on G+ that he will maybe break his nexus-only-rule and develope for other devices, such as the OPO ( he bought a M8 recently, and will develope for this). So, when the kernel for the OPO start popping out, is there a chance, that these may work on this device too?

Okay, nice. Thanks for the answer. Im not a dev, but it´s exciting to see that these two devices are nearly twins.
I also want to take time thanking Coldbird and other contributors for the great work. It feels much better with CM11s. Also donated, as a thanks for the effort!
I wanted to ask about other users experience with the rapid charging; for me it is charging fairly quickly, but not as fast as on the ColorOS. Just timed it and it went from 34 % to about 60% in 30 mins. I don't really mind, CM11s is worth it, but I just wondered if this roughly is the experience of other users aswell?
From what the kernel reported its charging at around 4 amps at peak. So no idea, never measured in coloros.

I will try to test the fast charging tonight. If I can flash the cm11s successful
===================================================================
[result]: start charging from 14%, took 1hr 51mins to get fully charged to 100%. (using battery doctor), i think it's more like a normal charging time to me, doesn't seem to have fast charging ability. but i will test it again when the battery run below 20%.
I had to have another play with this before my find 7 goes back with a dead pixel! Its sooo good! Camera is awesome now, I did notice that there's no audio in recorded videos though. Is that just me? Sorry if this is known and if it has been mentioned already.
Thanks again, this has made me even more happy that I decided on the find 7 rather than waiting for the Oneplus One! Bet of both worlds!
Just noticed sensors maybe a little off still... In Google camera app photosphere is a little odd! Moving left/right causes the image to move up/down and vice versa! Still gonna use this for now though!
I noticed some sensor issues myself in YouTube starting at v3.
But I know what it is... M3dd0g forgot to inverse two of the gyro axis.
I manually did that in v2 but it got overridden in v3...
I will revert those two axis to what I set them to in v2.

Q&A for [ROM][4.4.2] Beanstalk 4.4.4010

Beanstalk on Acro S
I have the overheating issue almost always when I use gps applications (waze, googlemaps, strava). This results in a serious battery drainage.
In normal use (3G, calling, browsing) I get a full day of operation.
This is hands down the best rom right now out for our Acro S (AOSP is close, but keeps giving me problems with the swype feature of the standard google keyboard).
Thank :*
Thank alot & love you so much deedwar :*
The rom very smooth and good, but have some problem when reboot, sometime it stuck in loop and must be flash boot.img again.

The flash comes on for no reason at times
Link texts are hard to read
Bluetooth functionality has delays such as bluetooth speakers jumping the sounds

takes forever to turn power on sometimes
ART runtime renders the phone unbootable
other than that, it ok
How to change the text color for links?
How to change the text color for links?
Please see the screenshot, the linked text color is close to the background and hard to be read. The app has no option to change the background color or schema.

how can I add CM11-M9+ dialer to this one?
Hi, @deedwar, thanks so much for this rom.
I installed it recently and found that the dialer doesn't support Chinese T9 dial. I checked that the versions after CM11 build M9 (released at August) added this feature, but not included in this rom.
I wonder, can I add it by myself? I'm new to this, I downloaded some roms for arco s based on CM11-M9+ and extract dailer.apk and replace it with RE, changed to rw-r--r--. After rebooting, the dialer just stopped working.
I don't know there're more files needed to be replaced or somehow? Is there a way to do it?
After trying many roms, I think this one is just the right one for me, so I wanted to add this feature to make it perfect.
Hope someone can help me out a little bit. Thx.

Assuming you cleared the data on dialer then you did everything right so if it didnt fix the FC'ing im afraid i have no idea. The only other option would be to grab my ROM.zip delete dialer.apk from that put the dialer.apk from the other ROM and do a factory reset from TWRP and reinstall the new ROM.zip you made and see if that works.
Sorry If there's already some talks about that on different topics, but I find easier to talk about this latest release on a centralised one.
My findings are that Oplus updated the gamebar which now takes more onscreen space, but is now easier to use
The second one is a real thermal behavior change : I used to flash Omega Kernel on 11.2.5.5 and quickly the o+ 9Pro stabilized under 42/43°C . On the latest OOs build with stock kernel, I'm now @ 37-38°C after 30 min of playing the same game. 5-6 degres gained is pretty a good upgrade.
I'll check what are the photo behavior changes as I've done few reproductible raw photos to test, and see how the white balance upgrades are this week end

You mean the stock 6.6 kernel is better than the omega kernel?

I deeply can't say that comparing two different iteration of kernel. But it appears to me O+ finally made some progress concerning power and heat behaviour.
I will for sure flash omega kernel as I did with every releases, but I'm happy to see that vanilla stock kernel is working better than ever
My battery life dramatically improved with the .6.6 update. Granted the phone is still new for me, but I went from ~4h SOT every day to 6h+ yesterday

I'm running Omega, but I was running omega before so although I'm sure Omega helps battery, it was still not great before the update. The new changes he made to reduce watermarking may have been a factor, and I also disabled RAM optimization in Oneplus settings which I'm pretty sure helped.
TY for the explanation :=)
Noticed that the oneplus contacts apk won't work with the upgrade. Have to fall back to the original Google contacts apk.
Edit: Got this version to work. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl...144013-75a9639-android-apk-download/download/

He said OP contacts apk, meaning he downloaded it as an apk himself, all came with only google contact preinstalled.
Pretty good
Guess I'm going to have to give Omega a try then after I update looks like the new update is worth it finally
I dont know ... I still get some sketchy network connections.. All of a sudden, I'll get 10 notifications at once.
Camera .. still have a focus issue. Certain areas are perfectly focused and others are not sharp. Like a bokeh effect.

The notification thing is most likely due to Oneplus's "Intelligent control" for battery saving. It may be "optimizing power usage" too aggressively for your apps. Go to the power settings for each app with the issue individually and change it to "do not optimize" to ensure you get notifications on time
