The only kdz file that worked for me to go back to MM 6.0 is H81520p_00_0314.kdz and i have tested alot of kdz and tot files too. Only this one kdz worked. I did a little Tutorial how to go back with this kdz, see on Page 16 .....22

This is the dll file i´ve just extraced from the H81520p kdz.
But this dll is normaly only needed when you get Errors in LGUP while flashing or flashing stuck on 11% or 22% etc.

I´m sure this wont help you out, but try it. Please point to the Refurbish tab in LGUP, the Upgrade won´t work.
My other Idea is to crash the Phone totaly, delete all Partions via TWRP and restore them to a working System.

So you have access to the download mode now ?
D855 is the international version and the D850 is the AT&T one. Does your phone has an AT&T logo ?
You can also check the variant on the box of your phone.

[Q] Help!! - LG G3 stuck in download mode

Hi guys I'm a newbie here and this is my first time posting.
I was trying to flash stock on my LG G3 but I made a really really stupid mistake. I used the flashtool found over here at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799647 but I had used the wrong tot file. Now my phone is stuck in download mode. I don't think my phone is hard bricked because it still boots up but only to the download mode no matter what I press. I also can't access my custom recovery now. I have tried flashing with kdz file for my phone using the LG Flash tool 2014 but on the LG Mobile Support Tool the progress bar goes up to 10/11% during the s/w update and I get an error after waiting for half an hour and the progress bar on my phone's firmware update screen only goes up by 2% at most. I can't find the tot file for my phone version to flash with so I'm stuck here. Help please?

hi , i have the same problem.
Did you try to flash the correct .tot file again?
Check the logs for the error which is generated from LG flash tool 2014.
May be you have cross D/L error due to wrong tot file flash.

Autorec Bricked my phone, need help

Hi everyone,
It's been some time since I last came here.
I am facing a problem in my LG G3 and was wondering if anyone here can help me.
My phone is D855 was on V21A, Global ROM, rooted. I was thinking about updating to 6.0, so I used Autorec to flash TWRP to backup everything before the update. After Autorec I used terminal emulator (as I always do) to reboot into recovery. And then, the phone kinda died. The screen is always black, no LED blink nothing.
When I connect the phone to the PC it gets recognized as AndroidNet USB port.
I look through the forums for solution and came across this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-lg-g3/general/guide-fix-hard-brick-recovery-guide-t3132359
I opened up the phone and did the short-wire and my phone got recognized as Qualcom 9008. I used the tool named: BoardDiag and it could copy stuff to my phone.
However, the issue that I faced was that I could not locate the TOT file of V21A. I tried the TOT of V10E and it did not work.
I tried following the method of LGExtract tool to turn the KDZ file to TOT but that did not work either. What happened is that the tool turn the KDZ to CAB and then when I try to extract the CAB it says that it is corrupted. Tried another KDZ from another source and the same result.
What I need now is one of two things:
Either the TOT file of Global V21a
or a working method for KDZ to TOT conversion.
Thanks for any suggestions.
[UPDATE]
I tried renaming the KDZ to TOT but it could not be extracted to the right MBN files.
I am facing the same problem with my LG G3 D850. I flashed a D851 Variant version of the rom and after fixing the hard brick part i am stuck flashing the .tot file because its considering my phone as D851 model. I tried to flash the LGUP_8974.dll to try to fix it and nothing.

Same problem here.
did you find a solution????
Please HELP
.....
I used the same short-wire method and flashed the only TOT I could find, which was 10E. However, this time I flashed the system partition as well. In the guide it says it would take a long time so don't do it. I did it anyway. It took reeeeeeeeeaaaaalllllly long time. Over 4 hours.
After finishing flashing I place back the battery as indicated in the guide and the phone restarted and was stuck at LG screen. I connected it to the computer and it was finally recognized as an LG Android phone.
Then I used the official LG update tool. It detected the phone and said there was an update. I proceeded with the update and everything went back to normal. I even had the same data and apps because I did not overwrite the data partition.
I hope this helps.

Need Help Lg G4 Bricked......

Hello Everyone,
i need help reviving my lg g4 and i search all the forms but no avail. I just got a G4 4 days ago only it was running lollipop and working fine i just check for the MM update in phone but there was no update so as i previously own a lg g4 with flumics rom so i decided to flash a kdz with MM update. I see my model no. as h815 so i download H81520h_00_0516.kdz and flashed it through lg flash tool 2014 it flashed without no error but after the flash i got no display in phone just blue led flashes and i hear lg boot sound and then just nothing on phone display it switched off itself. I try to go into hard reset but again no display i try to go into download mode again no display. I attached it to pc it shows LGE Mobile USB Composite Device. Although it shows in lgup tool as H815 and port no. as well.I search my model no. through IMEI i found that it is actually F500L model as i see Korean as it flashed 1st time in download mode. After some research i manage to go into download mode by removing the battery and attaching the phone to pc as it shows empty battery icon so i inserted the battery by pressing the vol up button it goes into download mode. So i try to flash the right firmware which is F500L20u_00_0504.kdz bhut lgup says it invalid kdz i try to flash it through lg flashtool2014 but it says cannot connect to server and failed with contact system administrator. Although it flashes H815_EU_10C_00.kdz and India H818N10d_00.kdz firmware's but those give no display at all i tried it with Lg Bridge as it shows update avalable F500l and it download it but failed to flash it. I try flashing korean tot file LGF500LAT-00-V11d-LGU-KR-SEP-21-2015+0.tot through lgup tool but again it said invalid tot file So friends i am stuck and looking for 5 days to find any solution So anyone can please help me i just used it for 1 day . So can anyone help me.
You have to edit a F500L kdz with a hex editor and replace every F500L to H815 or something that flashes without error
First, if it's H815, you're to flash an H815 kdz with LG up
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G4/H815/
Put into download mode and refurbish the kdz accordingly.

LG G4 H815 bricked only download mode available

I just bricked my g4 by flashing a kdz but then the kdz fdailed and after rebooting the phone it was only able and was immediately going ( after the lg logo) to the download mode/ firmware upgrade. It was not recognizable by LGUP. I added some dll files to help fix that LGUP issue but i dont know if its working because by g4 cannot be detected by LGUP. Going in recovery to factory reset and selecting Yes 2 times only freezes the phone.

The process stops at 11% at PrimaryGPT with the phone showing no signs of upgrade ( exept the green com port ) - 0%
The phone has (or at least had) v29A polish nougat rom

I have exactly the same problem. I can flash v20p KDZ, but reboot still failed (stuck at LG logo).
Then I enter download mode, I can flash v29a tot polish nougat rom , but reboot still failed.
I notice that the LED is not flashing at LG logo screen.
Is there any other way to try?
Thanks

You're sure that you wait long enough? You check how the process is running on the phone "flash status bar" while flashing in download mode screen?
You try to boot on recovery and factory reset?
I waited for 5 minutes.
The flash process completed 100% successfully.
I tried to boot in recovery and confirm ‘yes’ twice, but nothing happen.
If I flash android 5.1 and flash LG’s MSM big core disable tool tot, it can boot successfully.
So I guess my main board may have problem.
Now I need to see if there is an DIY way to fix this.
