Installation instruction :
1. Do TA backup *
2. Unlock bootloader *
3. Download rom on your phone
4. reboot into recovery and do a full wipe
5. flash rom
6. flash gapps # (any package for 5.1, I using opengapps.org)
7. Reboot into fastboot and flash twrp to FOTAKernel partition # (from some code reasons kernel contain aosp recovery)
8. Reboot into system
9. Enjoy !

What kernel settings are you use ?
Cm kernel (which haven't any alternatives) isn't so stable, but i think this is better option than old kitkat or stock with memory leaks.

I'm using the one bundled with this ROM. It reboots when calling, and sometimes the calls have no sound. I'm on C6902

I have c6903, build scipt, i don't know why not pack c6x02 script into rom... Try manualy add this from cm 12.1

great and smooth rom
but i have a big problem.. i dont know why the pen mode is forcibly on and it wont switch of even with pimp my z1 or pen mod.apk
any manual ways to disable it?!!

On my phone isn't deafault enabled.

interesting!!! dont know why but i can use pen to control it... can you please provide a manual way to disable it ? any scripting or something?

i just noticed something... that the pen mode is not on but the screen is somehow over sensitive and reacts to metal things ... any way to overcome this problem or issue? i have it on all cm roms.. i tried lots of them

just fixed it.. switched to previous build and backed up themes via titanium backup, and flashed the new one and uninstalled the themes and restored the backup.. problem fixed for me

Great Rom!! but after installing the version 20150903, persist the date of compilation 20150825.

Galaxy Ace 2 i8160 - Boot Loop, Not charging, Can't open recovery.

Hi.
I've run into a issue with my Galaxy Ace 2. It won't boot, I can't access recovery and I can't charge it.
My phone was working fine last night (12th October). When I woke up my phone was frozen so I took the battery out and tried turning it back on, this is when it only showed the "Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 GT-i8160" screen and it stays on it and it does not go past this screen. I searched up fixes and so on, I used Odin and put the Official i8160 firmware which it went through and passed. But even after that my phone will not turn on and still stays on the same screen.
Even after using Odin to put in the Official Rom, I used Vol Up+Home+Power to try and go into recovery, but after the second time the "Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 GT-i8160" screen comes up it will take me to a grey screen and will not proceed to the recovery menu no matter how long I leave it and how long I hold down the home button.
I can not charge my phone because when I plug it in via USB, it will give me the loading screen that shows before the charging screen shows and it will crash on that loading screen. If I try to use a mains charger, it will automatically turn on the phone giving me the logo screen and will stay on the screen. I have tried all known soft brick fixes but still does not help.
All help will be useful. I need my phone everyday. Thank you.

I believe it is on Jellybean not sure what version of jellybean as I can not access my phone

Maybe try flash 2.3.6.

Any idea where to get the 2.3.6? and I did try a PIT file first time but it didn't allow me to use one

Just upgrade with odin to official jb 4.1.2 mg2
And flash temp cwm recovery. And flash any custom rom.
I recommend cm11 from Ace2nutzer is Best rom for old Ace 2

Uncertified Play Store

I'm very frustrated because after updates my play store is uncertified by google while it used to be certified. What do you think?

Everything fine for me. Updated to the latest Nougat and no problems.

Mine is also uncertified and i am not able to update the play store past 7.6.08.N.all. Tried all the tricks to force it but to no avail. the only thing i have not tried is to side load the apk but i would rather i knew it was legit straight from googles servers.

mmm strange !! i havent seen such things.. my playstore is working fine..

What version of play store are you running, is it newer than 7.6.08

I have diabłed play store and enabled and it got fixed.

How did you disable Play Store?

Disable and enable is not working for me still stuck on version 7.6.08

Well tried to side load play store to the latest version, guess what, still uncertified. My play services are up to date, and now other than a full reinstall i am out of ideas. my boot loader is unlocked! could that be the reason?

Go to settings>applications>disable it Will unistall and when you enable it Will update version.
FOR the version, i don't think it has anything with version. I'm on same version and it has bęben certitfied.

It's certified now. Thank you very much

Got it certified. In the end i had to clear cache and data from play services and play store, then disable play store and uninstall its update THEN uninstall my google account completely, reboot and set up my google account again then enable play store and update it.
What a palaver!

Well I was wrong I thought it was certified as at one point it showed no certification information at all and I assumed that ment it was certified. this is where I am at the moment: I have a Three branded p2 with unlocked bootloader which I have flashed to the row firmware. I have re-flashed the row firmware and updated to the latest N Android. I have tried a full reset and now I have play store 7.7.17.0-all. I do not have Root or TWRP. I have repeatedly wiped cache and data of play store and services as well as cache wipe in recovery.
Anyone have any ideas I am stuck.

Thought i would update my situation one last time. I am now certified i had to install Majisk via TWRP and turn on Majisk hide in settings.

I saw difference on play store for certified device and uncertified device like certified device Android 6.0.1 have super Mario run but uncertified device also Android 6.0.1 can't get super Mario run, I followed disable and enable play store after that automatically update play store for my uncertified device after that i can't see the certified and uncertified column showing now,,,?
Please help..

Thank you ! Ok, so I will do it with Magisk app since I'm already rooted.
Do you think it's better to uninstall phh's Superuser and use MagiskSU root management ?
EDIT : It failed. After some research, it seems I cannot install it on deodexed nougat rom. What rom do you use ?

I am using Magisk own root without any problems, i was not rooted before so just flashed zip and used its own root. I think you should be fine with your system less superuser. Any problems just unroot and use Magisk's own root.

Lcd tp on me is ofilm csot i won't update until the fix.

Im waiting for a fix and i think that was my first and last xiaomi fone!

Success (whew, now I can breath easier) - just finished updating/upgraded to Android 10 stock. 3GB/32GB global model - bootloader unlocked but everything else stock. OTA file sized at 1089 MB, process took about 10 minutes, start to finish. Looks fine for the time being, rebooted after a few minutes again, for good measures & made sure usb-debug remained enabled.
Hardware info - PCBA_V2_GLOBAL
(will upload screenshot later, if that'll help others to decide to or not to.)
Cellular network on T-Mobile & Google Fi, here in USA.

Voted working.
LCD: Oncell/Bird
TP: Biel/EBBG
Also of note, I unlocked the bootloader via "Developer options" > "OEM Unlocking" as suggested by others before applying the update/upgrade.

Not working on mine had to rollback

For me the update bricked the phone but managed to go back to the January firmware.
Wonder how are we gonna know that they fixed the update...?

So far, just had to forget and re-enter wi-fi

OTA working, bird & biel, DT2W used to work to.
There are some backlight issues at the bottom of the screen that's all.
I guess the issue with the update is really the screen.

LCD/ TP for me are oncell / Ofilm and I could not update at all. Had to roll back!

Took ~7-8 mins for update.

Mine updated perfectly but is showing some black spots on the bottom, they appear 2 seconds after the Android one logo when booting and never go away.

I'm all stock. Want to implement the AOD Xposed module. If i'm not mistaken i need to root. If someone can help me on the correct steps i would be thankfull.
This tool makes everything easy. All i can do is connect to pc, wait until its recognised by the tool.
1. Unlock.
Everything will be wiped so i need to set up everything again.
2. Recovery and root? Thats the option i need?
I'm on beta4.

Yes, you can root your device without too problems:
So you should go in "recovery flasher and rooter" option, there you have to select the only TWRP available, check if "only boot" is checked, check "root after boot", select magisk 20.4 and click on the button at the bottom of the page. The TWRP will be booted and magisk flashed, and then from TWRP you can manually reboot to system and your device will be correctly rooted.

I have a stock OnePlus 7T, European Model (HD1903) running the latest OxygenOS (10.0.9.HD65BA). Is it possible to get root without unlocking the bootloader using this tool?
All I want is to try the arter97 kernel, which may be installed using the FrancoKernel kernel manager (as per the kernel creator's instructions). However, the kernel manager requires root, and this is why I am trying to get root access. I don't want nor need TWRP, just root.
I have already enabled OEM unlock in Developer settings.
