I'm trying this out at the moment. Hopefully its to my liking.

UPDATE: I tried it. Everything seemed fine until I plugged in an external speaker and tried to pull up the volume to more than half. It gave me an error.

This happened to me but then I rebooted a few times and wiped the dalvik-cache and cache partition and it worked fine

Is there a chance to make this rom for locked bootloader?

Everything looks fine except Chinese language in apps...Dialogue boxes..etc...Otherwise Okay..Anyway nice work....

Nope, it is based on CM12 so bootloader has to be unlocked.

I can flash this on CM12.1 after WIPE DATA/FORMAT SYSTEM? English is in rom? What a bugs?

the nav buttom sometimes lag
and the screen on the first boot freeze but never happend again
lack of gapps was a small issue but flashed gapps cm12.0 for this
camera LAG

the built in call recorder is a killer feature for me e.e

1. Do TA backup *
2. Unlock bootloader *
3. Download rom on your phone
4. reboot into recovery and do a full wipe
5. flash rom
6. flash gapps # (any package for 5.1, I using opengapps.org)
7. Reboot into fastboot and flash twrp to FOTAKernel partition # (from some code reasons kernel contain aosp recovery)
8. Reboot into system
9. Enjoy !

I haven't any problems.
What kernel settings are you use ?
Cm kernel (which haven't any alternatives) isn't so stable, but i think this is better option than old kitkat or stock with memory leaks.

I'm using the one bundled with this ROM. It reboots when calling, and sometimes the calls have no sound. I'm on C6902

I have c6903, build scipt, i don't know why not pack c6x02 script into rom... Try manualy add this from cm 12.1

great and smooth rom
but i have a big problem.. i dont know why the pen mode is forcibly on and it wont switch of even with pimp my z1 or pen mod.apk
any manual ways to disable it?!!

interesting!!! dont know why but i can use pen to control it... can you please provide a manual way to disable it ? any scripting or something?

i just noticed something... that the pen mode is not on but the screen is somehow over sensitive and reacts to metal things ... any way to overcome this problem or issue? i have it on all cm roms.. i tried lots of them

just fixed it.. switched to previous build and backed up themes via titanium backup, and flashed the new one and uninstalled the themes and restored the backup.. problem fixed for me

Great Rom!! but after installing the version 20150903, persist the date of compilation 20150825.

[ROM][Lux][XT1562/3] Stock & Debloated Rom 6.0.1 [MPDS24.107.52-5_reteu]

I made a fully Stock & Rooted/Debloated Rom of the Marshmallow update for Reteu Lux (Single sim).
The Stock version is pure stock.
The Debloated version only has the necessary Google Apps & some Moto Apps such as Demo mode and MotoCare deleted. And is also deodexed and zipaligned.

Kinda weird, but stuck at Moto logo splash screen for good 20 minutes +, doesn't look like it wants to boot for me

Does it have SMS/charging notification light enabled

It looks like the debloat deleted somethibg important. I will delete it until further notice. Although with that many downloads I am suprised I haven't been told earlier

How to flash developer Rom?

Hi Guys I'm on MIUi Global 9.0 stable 9.0.2.0 (NCAMIE)and wants to flash developer rom i have a locked bootloader as in current global stable rom I can't bind my mi account. I downloaded developer rom from http://en.miui.com/getrom-326.html?m=yes&mobile=2
But when i flash from system update app it give unable to verify error.

Change the name of the downloaded file to "update.zip" and flash in recovery

I downloaded 8.1.1 developer rom from miui site, when i use updater app it give me error " its looks like your android version is different from that in recovery package try flashing your device in fastboot mode" ...
I renamed to update.zip but still getting this error..

You need to use the official Xioami tool "MiFlash" to flash and download the FASTBOOT image not the rom that is in the download section.

@wildger will this tool work for locked bootloader..?

No, for fastboot method you need to unlock the bootloader and then when you flash it will give the option to flash and relock bootloader or just flash.
Why can't you bind your account???
Did you enable Find my device, registered your sim and then tried to bind account??

Read the topic first and what the problem is. there is a bug adding Mi account, that's need a software change.

Most of those "bugs" binding the account come from people that didn't enable find my device and/or didn't register their Sim to xiaomi..
If you don't have enable those two things you won't be able to bind.... That's why i'm asking

No there is a bug with stable ROM that doesn't work in certain conditions.
The only fix is to flash developer ROM on locked BL and then bind account.
Really strange but its true.
I had my account fully registered with Xiaomi but I wasn't able to bind.
Immediately used developer ROM and was able to bind straight away.

More reasons to leave behind MIUI.....

I enabled find my device option and my sim is also registered with xiaomi account.
Its been more than 3 months I'm stuck with different errors to bind my account.
Ist i face 86006 error then unable to connect network, now i cannot verify downloaded developer rom from system update app, this is really annoying...
Now I will try xiaomi tool and link shared by Rico88.

Hello, got similar errors, recenty i update via OTA MIUI 9.2. On Mi unlock webpage i have permision to unlock bootloader, and my phone status shows error 86006.
If i try to install global developer via fastboot its show error (erase boot error), when i try to install via update its shows error (can't verify update) and if i try update via xiaomitool its show error (Error 1038 - Error 1038 means : you have locked bootloader).
I have enable my device but on the phone there is nowhere to activate sim card. Another strange thing is on my miui account page>settings>personal info its shows: Redmi 5 Plus and i cant change it.

Lcd tp on me is ofilm csot i won't update until the fix.

Im waiting for a fix and i think that was my first and last xiaomi fone!

Success (whew, now I can breath easier) - just finished updating/upgraded to Android 10 stock. 3GB/32GB global model - bootloader unlocked but everything else stock. OTA file sized at 1089 MB, process took about 10 minutes, start to finish. Looks fine for the time being, rebooted after a few minutes again, for good measures & made sure usb-debug remained enabled.
Hardware info - PCBA_V2_GLOBAL
(will upload screenshot later, if that'll help others to decide to or not to.)
Cellular network on T-Mobile & Google Fi, here in USA.

Voted working.
LCD: Oncell/Bird
TP: Biel/EBBG
Also of note, I unlocked the bootloader via "Developer options" > "OEM Unlocking" as suggested by others before applying the update/upgrade.

Not working on mine had to rollback

For me the update bricked the phone but managed to go back to the January firmware.
Wonder how are we gonna know that they fixed the update...?

So far, just had to forget and re-enter wi-fi

OTA working, bird & biel, DT2W used to work to.
There are some backlight issues at the bottom of the screen that's all.
I guess the issue with the update is really the screen.

LCD/ TP for me are oncell / Ofilm and I could not update at all. Had to roll back!

Took ~7-8 mins for update.

Mine updated perfectly but is showing some black spots on the bottom, they appear 2 seconds after the Android one logo when booting and never go away.
