Hi all
I've recently started using my Moto 360 again alaong with my HTC M8 running the Radium 1.4 ROM. I set the watch up and all was working perfectly. I then noticed the watch was not receiving any notifications, this was after I had been out for a while with the watch at home. The only way I could figure out re-enabling them was to factory reset the watch then set it up again. I don't want to have to do this every time I go out without the watch etc. I had similar problems with the watch not pairing via Bluetooth with my phone after it had already been paired. The only way I could get it to pair was again to factory reset. This issue seems to have gone away now and it's just the notifications that seem to be a problem.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Looks like ROM issue!

Hello,
It is actually an issue with the recent Android Wear app update...just read all the comments from 360 owners. Mine will not connect either.
Cheers
Well at least it was nothing to do with my phone/watch/ROM. Must have been updated recently as it's been fine! Back on form
Cheers

After 4 Android Wear updates they finally fixed the connection issue. I sent them several bug reports and I swear they didn't even look at them.

I'm still having problems where my Moto 360 won't show notifications (text, email, phone calls). I've tried every recommended solution. After a factory reset it works for maybe 30 minutes and then stops. One thing I've noticed (and I don't know if it's related or not) is that the Android Wear version on my Phone (Galaxy S5) is 1.3.0.2284253 and on my Moto 360 it's 1.3.0.2166028. Shouldn't they match?

For anyone who runs across this at some point, I solved the problem (at least for me). I unistalled Light Manager and now I'm getting all notifications.
Arrrgh mine has started doing this again! It had been fine for a few weeks. Seriously needs sorting out
I just got a new Moto 360 2 days back, and noticed this issue soon after it updated itself maybe to 5.1.1. I restart my phone everytime i face this issue which seems to fix it. Also android wear shows an error message mentioning notification sync is not working.

Still isn't resolved for me sadly and restarting the phone doesn't work. I'm just flashing a new ROM to see if that helps. My watch has randomly been saying Google Play Services isn't installed on the phone when it is. Strange happenings here!
I have exactly the same problem! Saying Google play services are not installed, no whatsapp or text notifications until I get an email then they mysteriously appear. also if I toggle notification to priority and back they appear. doing my head in
You need to restart the phone and the watch, not just the phone.
Also can try removing your phone from your watch's bluetooth pair list then also "forget" the watch in your phone's bluetooth menu, then re-pair the two. Should work no problem after that.
I find this only happens if i stray away too far from either device or one of them gets restarted for some reason.. but yeah, restarting both the phone and the watch, removing the phone and watch from both bluetooth lists, and then re pairing, has fixed it every time for me. No having to factory reset the watch or reflash rom or anything drastic like that.
Now if you're phone is always in your pocket/purse which is on you all the time and the watch is on your wrist too and it just drops connection randomly... then i'd say something is messed up with your watch or phone.
Hiya folks,
Just wondering if anybody has been experiencing random reboots on the OP3. Have been experiencing em on 3.2.1 and 3.2.2 about twice a day since I got the phone four days ago. Tried a cache wipe/hard reset but to no avail. Haven't been able to reproduce the reboots. Just happen at completely random times, while writing an email, making a call, or connecting to the car Bluetooth. Phone is perfectly responsive and stable otherwise!
Have asked Amazon for a replacement, but I'm wondering if this is something that's been noticed by anybody else. No mods done, completely stock. Running dual sims (Vodafone and Jio VoLTE).
Attaching a screenshot of how the battery page shows the reboots.
Yeah, they happen for me periodically. Not nearly as often as yours though. Mine is maybe once or twice a week max. But yes, slightly annoying.
Phone is completely stock, locked, unrooted. Running 3.2.2.

Haven't had a single random reboot yet, had the phone for about a month now. Started with 3.1.3, then 3.2.1, now 3.2.2, rooted, running xposed (not a lot of modules).
What are you doing when the reboots happen (an app issue)?

It's been all over the place, but often when the screen was actually off! The way I would know would be I'd pick up the phone and see that it asks for the PIN post reboot. If it helps, I've enabled encryption. I also have a work (exchange) email account set up as a device admin
I know there's ways of investigating this with logcats and last_kmsg, but I've had the phone 4 days and I cant imagine why it's spontaneously rebooting while doing literally nothing. Seeing as hardly anybody has had similar reboots (on XDA/OnePlus forums), could this be a hardware issue at all? I could possibly try reflashing the entire phone, but that would essentially be the same as a wiping data/cache, right?
Here's an idea - my LTE data/VoLTE is extremely spotty (on Reliance Jio which is in a beta test stage) - disconnects and connects VERY frequently, could that be triggering reboots at the baseband level? Now throwing ideas at the wall!

Mine had random reboot issues recently on a trip. It only seemed to happen when I was using Google navigation combined with listening to music on my bluetooth headphones. I haven't tried that combination since the trip and haven't had any reboots since then.

same issue
the reboots are random, and i could only know that the phone has rebooted itself if it ask for a pin upon scanning finger, went to service center and has OS flashed, but the problem still persist, for me some time when the phone hangs, some kind of pixels form on the screen, attaching a sample photo for reference, anybody experiencing this issue or am i the only one, and today the phone has completely stopped working, it is not switching on.

Wow that is substantially worrying, and almost certainly not just a software issue I reckon. Try getting a replacement maybe? - or atleast ask the service folks for a mainboard replacement. Anybody else with reboot issues?
Doesn't really seem to be an OS bug, unless it happens in very niche use cases which I don't have anyway! Getting the replacement on Tuesday, fingers crossed for that one!
My friend and I both got a one plus 3. He does not have this problem but I have.
The reboot is random but usually happens during charging. Sometimes it even turns off.
I have tried to ask for a replacement but they rejected me. Still communicating with the support staffs

I experienced a similar scenario twice, only seems to happen on long trips, 3+ hours. I was using Waze with Plex streaming audio over car Bluetooth. I have not had this on shorter trips, 1-2 hours. I'm typically plugged into the dash car charger. Otherwise, haven't had issues. Never rooted 3.2.2.
Situation Update
Got the replacement OP3 on August 9. Have now seen 2 random reboots since. Once while paired to the car Bluetooth, once after finishing a call.
I have till August 19 to decide whether to keep this device or ask for replacement number two! Overall, the reboot situation is a lot better on this device, but I can't help wonder - why any at all?
Seems at this point to either be a bug with the Bluetooth implementation AND/OR with the dual SIM functionality where repeated switching between SIMs for every call. (I use one SIM for calls and texts, another for data)
Can anyone confirm the situation on a custom ROM as opposed to stock? I'm running stock 3.2.2
Aaaaand now we have an ota claiming to fix 'auto-reboot issues' - 3.2.4
The reboots were so sparsely documented compared to the other stuff that I ended up getting a replacement for a s/w issue!
Anyway - you folks reboot free now? Post results with 3.2.4 please
I had three back to back random reboots while using Google Maps and Amazon Kindle in the background. Weird.
I've yet to have a random reboot on 3.2.4

Agree. It happens only when I drive with gmaps running on background. When the screen times out, the phone, instead of shutting down the display, goes to hard reboot.
I've never had this issue until I moved to the latest update. Weird. Annoying.
I had my first reboot a few hours ago (with 3.2.4). I was connected to Bluetooth in my Car. Noticed it, as my car told me that mein Phone is now connected. No gmaps or something with GPS runinng.
Looks like Bluetooth is the Problem.
Anyone else have the issue of their phone restarting when using Google Maps? The phone also happens to be plugged into Dash Car Charger as well.
Yes it has happened to me a few times.... Knock on wood I haven't had any issues recently. I used tasker to setup a profile so when I use my nav apps (maps, waze, etc) it turns off Bluetooth and sets the location mode to gps/device only vs. high accuracy. Not sure if there's any correlation, but I've gone about 1 week with no issues. I use waze to and from work daily.

Never happened to me, commonly use both
Happened to me a few days after upgrading to OOS 3.2.2. On a secondary highway in mountains where signal was spotty. Have a feeling it was related to loss of LTE/4G signal while in maps.

I can also say this happened to me. Everytime it did happen I just so happened to "switch" over to edge network. After using data on the other sim, which has better coverage, it didn't happen.
Tested using one carrier sim on way up, and other carrier sim on way down. I was also using Bluetooth streaming Pandora the entire time each way. It never happened before oos 3.2.2, only Pandora would cut out when hitting the edge network.

Same Here..
I've had this happen as well, but only when my phone has been plugged into a charger in my car.. it's possible that it has been shutting down thinking that something was going wrong with charging?
Rebooted when using Google Maps.
OnePlus 3 (3.2.2 OS)
Rebooted 3 times in a row
Was not charging at the time.
Rebooted when using Google Maps and Radardroid.
5-6 Reboots in 2 hours . No troubles in 6-7 hours before.
Reboots with and without original car charger.

Maps in the background. BT on. The phone restarts when the screen timeout function tries to shut down the display.

1. car-charging
2. use GPS
3. connect Bluetooth.
when I don't charging in car, that was never again.

Yeah...especially since even if you have a fingerprint lock, you still have to enter your password after a reboot. OOS 3.2.4 fixed some of these issues, at least according to the change log. But I mostly use custom ROMs (Resurrection Remix at the moment), so I haven't tested OOS 3.2.4 yet.
Edit: well, never mind about 3.2.4 fixing the issue:

You know, there is actually another thread about this, if you dig around the Q&A section. Now, several people said they thought random rebooting is a hardware issue. The thing is, I get random reboots too, but it only happens while driving, BT connected, Pandora playing, and navigation going. Outside that one particular scenario, I have never had a random reboot. I don't call myself an expert, but that doesn't sound like a hardware failure to me if it only happens under one (very particular) set of circumstances.

agree. i tried to make this problem reoccured at home (meaning bt on; played music over the bt; maps on) -- no restarts.
smthng telling me it's related to gps. BUT i haven't had this problem before 3.2.4 update.
i only hope the OP team will take a deep look into this.
me too, while using Android Auto (so the phone is plugged in and charging, and connected by bluetooth, if it matters)
once it starts it will repeatedly reboot every few minutes.
If I close maps and clear cache it seems to help.
So what do we do?
I have the same restarting problem, using Waze as satnav and gps,on non Dash charger in car, and with 3.2.4 update. What can we do to get Oneplus to take this problem seriously?
I have exactly the same set up and exactly the same problem: Waze, OxygenOS 3.2.4, with or with out charger in the car.
This problem only started yesterday. On my 1 hour commute last night the phone restarted 5 time. On the 1 hour commute this morning it rebooted 5 times in 30 mins before I gave up and drove without it.
Anyone found a fix for this?
Maps running without issues
Maps ver9.36.1

Well, I don't know about what OP is going to do, but for me, the problem seems to have been fixed by EX Kernel.
I took delivery of a Tesla Model 3 on March 30 of this year. At the time, it was running Tesla's software 2019.5.15, but within a day it had upgraded to 2019.8.4, then 2019.8.5, then 2019.12.1 a couple of days ago, and finally to 2019.12.1.1 today. Through all of this, I've had no problems with Bluetooth connections to my OnePlus 5t phone for media streaming; however, I have had problems with placing and receiving phone calls, and the problem has gotten worse with Tesla's 2019.12.1 or 2019.12.1.1 (I'm not sure which).
I never tried making phone calls in the day or so I had Tesla's 2019.5.15, but I did with 2019.8.x, with about a 50% success rate. Sometimes it would work fine, but other times I'd get very stuttery sound, as if the connection was cutting in and out about ten times per second. Initially, I was running LineageOS 15.1; however, in part because I hoped to resolve this problem, I updated my phone to LineageOS 16 about two weeks ago. That update did not fix the problem, unfortunately, but it also did not make it any worse.
Since my car has updated to 2019.12.1 or 2019.12.1.1, though, the problem has gotten worse: Now, when I try to place a call, at best I'll hear a brief click, short series of clicks, or beep, and then I get silence. When receiving a call, the phone rings, I hear a ring tone over the Tesla's audio system, and the Tesla's screen shows an incoming call. I can answer the call via the Tesla's screen, but again, I get no audio. Worse than all of this, sometimes, on both incoming and outgoing calls, the Tesla's screen has gone completely blank a few times. This isn't guaranteed to happen, but it's happened at least four times to me today as I've been testing things.
Some of what I've tried, with no success:
Adjusting volume settings on both the car and the phone
De-pairing the phone and the car, rebooting both, and then re-pairing them
Updating the phone to the very latest LineageOS build (lineage-16.0-20190428-nightly-dumpling-signed.zip)
Using "developer mode" Android options to adjust every Bluetooth option I could find (AVRCP version, audio codec, audio sample rate, bits per sample, channel mode [stereo vs. mono], LDAC codec)
Testing with both incoming and outgoing calls
This same phone works fine with a Bluetooth headset. On my previous car (a 2017 Chevy Volt), I had few problems, although on about 5% of the calls, I did experience the stuttering audio problem that kicked up to 50% frequency with the Tesla before it stopped working altogether.
I've gone to Tesla's Web site and used their "contact us" link to file a bug report (although there was no "bug report" option, so it may not get routed correctly).
Does anybody here have any other ideas of what I could do, short of replacing my phone or installing another Android version? (I'm really trying to avoid the pain of setting everything up again!)

Hello again from TMF (turok3000) . Can confirm I see exactly the same as you (lineage 16.0 + tesla 2019.12.1.1).
I would say you're best off posting here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/development/rom-lineageos-16-0-pie-oneplus-5t-t3843026
Do you happen to have tried with latest stock oxygenos ? I'm guessing not since you mention not wanting setup hassle (I'm in a similar situation).
Thanks for the suggestion of posting in another thread. I've done so, with a few updates.
I did back up the phone and tried installing stock OxygenOS as a test; however, the installation went badly -- it hung with a spinning logo on first boot. Thus, I restored my (mostly) working configuration. I may give it another try later, but there's only so much time I can invest in this sort of thing each day.
Any luck with this? I also have a Tesla Model 3 and the same exact problem as you. I'm using crDroid but it is largely based on LineageOS.
Maybe there is something I can try? I messed with all the dev options for bluetooth.
I've worked around it by re-installing OnePlus's OxygenOS. I'd prefer LineageOS or something else more open, but for the moment, switching to OxygenOS seems like the only solution. A caveat: I haven't tried any recent build (from the last month or so). It's conceivable it's been fixed and I just don't know it yet. Also, some others, using OnePlus phones other than the 5t (IIRC, the OnePlus 6 and/or 3) report that reverting to OxygenOS does not help them. If you've got a 5t, though, reverting to OxygenOS, although a nuisance, may be worth trying. There's a thread tracking the problem on a Tesla forum here:
https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/bluetooth-problems-on-phone-calls-only.150774/
The problem is common on LineageOS for multiple phones, but it also occurs on some other phones, even including some iPhones. At least one unofficial LineageOS build is not affected; but that build may have been tweaked or rely on proprietary drivers. Overall, then, it looks like more of a Tesla problem than a phone problem, but it's hard to be sure without digging into the code and running diagnostics that I'm not competent to do.

Overall, then, it looks like more of a Tesla problem than a phone problem, but it's hard to be sure without digging into the code and running diagnostics that I'm not competent to do.

Ah well thanks for getting back. That is disheartening, as I had been using OOS since I got the phone on release day & finally thought I should try something different. It sounds like I'm gonna have to go through all the efforts to revert back to OOS.
For reference, it did not work for me using crDroid builds from 6/23/19 and 6/30/19.
I'll use Tesla's feedback system to put my "vote" in towards fixing these bluetooth issues.
My Model 3 received an update yesterday to 2019.24.4 and the Bluetooth calling works! Just thought you should know. I'll cross post on TMC.
Not at all stable to use as daily driver.
1 - No notifications after some times when the phone is ideal you have to open the app, like they are in deep sleep. gave all permissions like auto start, battery restriction none, no data restrictions.
2 - Bluetooth earphones gets disconnected randomly, usually when you lock unlock the device.
3 - Wifi speed degrade when you use Bluetooth and wifi at the same time.
4 - whatsapp video call are still lagging, connecting issue, other phones on the same network works fine.
5 - Battery backup degraded by at least 30%
6 - camera quality is noticeably degraded.
7 - fast charging not working with tbe official charger as well
and there are many more.
please post your work around for this bugs, it will be helpful as xiaomi is not going to launch any update sooner looking at ter track records.
I think you need to do a factory reset.
Battery is exactly the same for me as Android 9.
Camera quality is the same too.
Fast charging works for me with default charger.
Don't know about the rest.

Already did reset 3 times, thought my old google backup setting is the issue, even after setting up without restoring the backup this issues are there, specially the notification, Bluetooth and wifi issue.
I didn't noticed that many problems like you, only the battery performance lost, I went from 10 hours of screen on time, to around 6-7, factory reset from recovery didn't help, but that was enough reason for me to dare to unlock the bootloader, so I went back to MIUI 11.0.3 based on android 9, now I have my 10 hours of screen on time and I'm more than happy, the only feature I miss from android 10, was the wifi dynamic MAC address
So have you downgraded back to android 9
Can you please help me how to do so
Can't we download android 9 package from mi website and install as package in update settings?

1. Not happening here.
2. Also not happening.
3. This is normal if you use 2.4Ghz wifi + bluetooth, wifi always slow - READ WHY
4. This is Whatsapp issue, not phone specific. Try other such as Line or Duo. I only found lags on Whatsapp.
5, 6, 7. Not happening to me.
About battery, try flashing old one via Mi Flash > flash & clean all (don't lock back).

i am talking about Indian variant, various users have already raised this issues, also mi developers had confirm this notification issue and forwarded it to there developers.
2 - this was not there before day i switched to andorid 10 even after reseting 2 times i am facing this issue
3 - This wasnt the thing on android 9 that is the problem
4 - tried telegram duo, even the calls are not coming. forget about mesgs.
6 - this is also confirmed by many users
I'm in last version and Android 10 but don't have any of this problems in my phone! Performance is better than Android 9 and everything is fine! You must do a factory reset to fix this problems.
I am also on android 10 on the indian variant and I can confirm that the 1st issue which is about no notifications after some time is happening to me also. Although I don't know about the rest. About charging and battery backup, I think it is same as before.

I'm only facing the notification issue mentioned in the tread. Everything same, miui 11.0.2 android 10. All settings tested. Also tried pnf app. No use. Another symptom is when I open WhatsApp all the messages are delivered only then. Have allowed it to run in background, disabled power saving, all notification allowed, auto start permission given.
anyone noticing bluetooth mac is changed to 00:00:46:00:00:01?
maybe this causing the bluetooth disconnection issue?
I just noticed it on both of my RN8pro running Indonesian fw Android 10.
Mine upgraded yesterday throught OTA to MIUI 11.0.4(QGGIXM)/Andorid 10.
I came from the Andoird 9 and everything was good, but after the upgrade my GPS in Dual Space and Second Space can´t lock my postion.
Tried to hard reset 3 times and reflashed this ROM manualy and nohing. I still have the bootloader locked and can´t downgrade now.
I made some tests using app GPS test, in te upper screen is the "normal" app and in the bottom s the dual app that can´t lock the GPS, same thing happens in the second space.
After search a lot, people say that is better to downgrade, so anyone have this issue here or a solution for it?

I can confirm the wifi/BT bug, and it sucks!
How does Xiaomi get the feedback on this bugs? Is there still testing even though this is the "stable" version?

No, not yet. It is a pain and I will do it if it is really necessary, I'm not sure if that would work. Anyway I saw the link that someone posted earlier that this kind of interference is a common problem; I never new about it or noticed it. On my PC there is some slowing down also, but not as dramatic as on the RN8P.

So basically it is common problem for all phones or even all device's?
Is it worse on A10 that on A9?

It is very common (if you use 2.4GHz WiFi); you'd need beamforming to get over it. But not all devices are the same - it depends on device quality and antenna separation (for example, laptops with Intel/Killer wifi modules are much less affected by it, while Raspberry Pis are having serious trouble doing both at the same time).
Of course, this only applies in 2.4GHz. Switch to 5GHz, and you'll have no more problems.
When to do factory reset? After updating or before updating?
