Have you tried the quick pull down option under status bar settings?

i had JellyBam custom rom installed and my screen was working perfectly fine...i was using the camera and then the screen went black and i guess the phone turned off. So i tried turning it on and i felt it vibrate and heard the boot animation but there was no animation on the screen..
when i touch the screen after the phone was all way booted up still nothing on the screen...the touch screen worked i heard the water drop from the lockscreen, i heard the text message tone...but the screen wasn't showing any animation!
the important part here is that i didn't drop it or nor did it ever have water damage! ive put the phone in download mode and reverted back to stock rom and stock kernel and still nothing!
So help me our here guys whats going on????!!??

So I am assuming that the screen came on when you went to into download mode but you did not specify. Have you tried going into recovery mode and factory reset that way? If not that is where I would start. I am assuming you will be on stock recovery. If that still doesn't work, try installing TWRP via ODIN, wipe everything (system, data, cache, dalvik) and then reinstall stock. Let us know if this works.
So I had just flashed the latest rooted stock rom and everything went fine. When my nexus booted up I was turning back on the root app, ultimate dynamic navbar I believe. It rebooted my phone to change the build prop. Well after the Google logo came up it became a black screen. I would normally do a battery pull but I don't know how to do that. The screen is still on so if anyone could help I would be very grateful. I have a backup on twrp right now just don't know how to access it.

If you just hold the power button down, the device will reboot. Optionally, if you can connect it to the computer and adb sees it, you can "adb reboot recovery" to get into the recovery and restore your backup.

Check to make sure whatever app you flashed is compatible with the firmware version of the rom you flashed. I had this happen to me last night when I tried to flash a JSS15J mod for the new JSS15Q update.
Hey guys.
I've been a long time lurker and finally am needing some help here.
I'm selling off my Huawei P6 and would like to get it back to stock fully rather urgently but there's a few little issues which I know I'm just not thinking straight to solve.
I've gone from KK back to 4.2.2, I've flashed back stock recovery and redid B125/B111. I then downloaded stock from Huawei's website.
It's almost though as if traces of 4.4.2 are left on the phone
1)The default Huawei boot animation doesn't show, it just says Android still while it use to be sparkly animation
2)The drop down menu bottons are still showing and I can still swipe up and down to hide it.
3)When you reset the phone the default screen with the 2 people, clock, weather etc isn't there, it's just a blank home screen
4)When you swipe down, no buttons to turn on wifi/mobile data etc is there
in About phone it says:
Emotion UI 1.6
4.2.2
Kernel is 3.0.8-00780
So I'm not sure what to do at this point?
Any advice?
Please and thanks!!
Got it working!!
Flashed TWRP, Wiped Dalvik, System and Cache.
Rebooted into Bootloader
Flashed stock recovery
Rebooted into stock recovery with UP/VOL+-
Flashed B125
All back to normal.
Few days ago I've installed CM 13 on my device. Everything was pretty good after one update i found out that my device can't be shut down. Whenever i try to shut it down it restarts again. Then i did a normal factory reset through recovery mode. After that i can't pull down my notification bar. It's pretty strange because everything seems pretty normal. Then again i installed latest update (CM 20160513). But nothing happened. I am completely newbie in those things. So little help would be appreciated.

Hi guys,
my oneplus 3 boots fine and soon after the boot animation is completed, it only show a black screen.
pressing the power button brings the poweroff and restart menu
when I make a call, the phone rings and only true caller notification is visible
alarm is working...
but unable to see anything on the screen (except above), its completely black...
any help would be much appreciated....
tried below thing:
1. rebooted several times
2. flashed 4.1.6 image several times
either it keeps stuck on the boot animation screen or the black screen after boot animation.
I had the same yesterday. I just run the unbrick tool.

Wipe System, Boot, Dalvik and Cache. Then dirty flash your rom. Note: booting takes some time. Let me know if it worked!

what about the data on your devices, for ex: the apps that you installed from play store, are they intact?
What do you mean? It just reinstalls the whole device to factory default
