Thanks!
okay, i helped myself. What happend: I was Instaling a ROM after I updated my recovery. I did a clean install. While booting i faced an old Android bug (I guess).
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447303
Pressing resset got me back in to recovery.
None of my ideas like downgrade the rocovery or flash an other rom helped. So... back to stock with this guid

After first boot I faced this bug again. But now you have to press reset again. The Lenovo recovery will do its things.
Now the bug is gone. I have lost all my data. The Internal sorage was wiped.

Data decryption? If yes proceed to
Format data > type Yes
If it fails, restart recovery > format data > yes (internal storage will be formatted) This worked for me.

Hello everyone,
I would post this in the development thread but I can't since I am a ne user. Anyway..
I am currently on InFamous switching between the 2.4 TW version and the Google Edition v2.0.
My problem is every time I reboot my phone, it gets stuck on the Samsung Galaxy S4 boot image. Then when I go to recovery the Internal storage shows 0 MB available, and I can't fix permissions or wipe anything without having to format data first. The only way to boot my phone again, is to format data, wipe everything, and reinstall the ROM which is very annoying and time consuming.
PLEASE HELP!!
Thanks in advance

Have you tried this:
Before doing anything, be sure to back up the internal sdcard to a folder on your computer if you have anything you
want to save on the internal sdcard. Also be sure that the Google Edition zip file rom is on your "external" sdcard.
When the phone is flashed and ready to use go into settings>accounts tab>backup and reset>"Factory data reset".
Click on the factory data reset.
After doing that reboot into cwm or twrp which ever you are using and do a full wipe as you usually do but don't
forget to include "Factory reset".
Then flash the Google Edition rom as you normally have done and it should fix the problem you are having hopefully.
Good luck!

Have you tried holding the power button, home key and the volume up key all at the same time to boot in recovery? If not do a battery pull and do it when turning the phone back on

If you already tried to Odin flash the STOCK rom and formatted your internal sdcard and you still find "0 MB"
in your internal storage then it must be a hardware issue and if I were you I would return/exchange the phone.
Good luck!
It's not a hardware issue. It's a bug in twrp. Whenever you do "format data" it corrupts the data partition. Use PhilZ Touch recovery. His recovery includes the fix. Try it.

Thanks, I'll try that. How do I get rid of the bug after writing the new recovery? Format data?
Thanks!
Hello, any progress please? I have exactly the same issue.
I found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265588&page=23 this solution:
I wanted to clean my internal SD card before flashing Omega ROM, so I used Format Data option from Wipe section in TWRP.
After that I lost almost two days trying to fix my phone. Flashed stock ROM, TWRP and Omega ROM endless times without success after that.
My phone became randomly unbootable on reboot or power on! It was stuck on i9505 logo that is shown before boot animation forever. It was same for both stock and Omega ROM, with or without external micro SD.
After endless tries, I figured out that my phone works fine if I do factory reset and wipe from original recovery. Worked fine before and after flashing TWRP.
I tired to Format Data from TWRP again and my phone again was stuck on boot.
So I did everything once more. Flashed stock, did factory reset and wipe from original recovery and then installed TWRP and in the end I flashed Omega without wiping anything.
Everything works just fine now and I will not try to use Format data option from TWRP on this device in near time! Please fix this.
First I used TWRP 2.5.0.1 and then 2.5.0.2, but it is same in both of them.

It says so in the OP... going between TW and Google Edition 2.0.. Out of curiosity though, what difference would that make? I have flashed and have backups of two versions of TW and quite a few AOSP variants... I can move between them seamlessly and haven't encountered any such problems as the OP. I use TWRP as well.
It was TWRP problem. I have flashed the stock ROM with stock recovery. I have done full wipe and my phone works well again. This is bug in TWRP. Don't push "format data" button!
ive followed several guides to do this via twrp I backup my original files etc, then I wipe the dalvik, data, cache, system via twrp then goto install, find my file on my SD card and install ...wait for it to do its thing then install Gapps then, reboot device and it sticks on the LG opening screen but ive noticed during install of the rom this comes up
unmounts of /system failed; no such volume
soooo ideas on a card please lol im stuck as I was flashing a new rom due to lack of wifi on recent lollipop update

Hi! I went into the latest TWRP recovery with unlocked bootloader, and I wiped system, cache, dalvik and data. Then I flashed the proper vendor image, the ROM zip, Gapps and then Elemental X kernel. However, when I reboot, it just boots me into TWRP recovery. I have tried wiping dalvik cache and cache. I then tried restoring a nandroid, but it just got stuck on the Google screen. Didn't even get to the colored dots screen. I ended up flashing factory image, but I would like to get my Nandroids working and this ROM. Please help! Thanks
I'm no expert but I think it might be happening because of encryption. Did you disable encryption before doing all this stuff?

Encryption in stock Android? As far as I know, I can't turn it off. It says that the device is encrypted in settings. I think nougat forces encryption.
Unless maybe there's a patched kernel that can do that?

I dont think is your problem , im encrypted and never have issues with twrp! Never!! What version of twrp you running? Theres an unofficial kicking around that is much better than official! Maybe you got a bad download! I would redownload all, find and download unofficial twrp 3.0.2.3 I believe. Let your phone boot before you flash custom kernel, thats always worked great for me. The latest official twrps 3022 and 3021 both have nandroid restore issues as well efs restore issues that could ruin your day

What's the difference between wipe and format? On TWRP there is only WIPE for all partitions, but a format data button.

Wipe just deletes all data on the partition. Format makes the partition again, therefore it removes encryption, repairs potential problems etc. Format data has dedicated button in TWRP, for formatting System go to Advanced Wipe, check system, tap on Partition details, check EXT4 and perform format.

OK, I will do that. Thanks Just to clarify, I format data and system, and wipe cache and dalvik?
A Thought
Dunno if this will help, but whenever I flash a ROM/kernel combo, I always flash the ROM/gapps, boot up with whatever kernel is included in ROM to make sure it boots properly, and then after successful boot flash EX kernel through TWRP.
OK, so I formatted DATA and SYSTEM, and I wiped CACHE and DALVIK. I then flashed the proper vendor image, pushing it to the device with adb push, and then adb sideload for the pure nexus ROM. It's currently installing. Then, I will adb sideload the gapps ZIP file. Then I'll reboot and see if it worked
EDIT: It just said "No OS installed"
EDIT 2: Just flashed the ROM again, and it is showing the boot animation. This time I did not do Gapps. I also wiped and formatted everything again. Hope all goes well.
EDIT 3: The ROM booted fine. Glad all is working now

So I had flashed the ROM with no Google Apps or anything, just the ROM. But when I add a Google Account, I can't because it says Google Play Services has stopped. I just noticed that the build number is one of a Nexus 6P, and the vendor image is different, the one I manually flashed.
Here's where I am. Have twrp. tried to go back to stock. I messed something up. Now when I reboot to bootloader it says something about a script and "running open recovery script" is at the top. It instantly reboots to 1plus logo and back to twrp. I can get to bootloader but not recovery. Any advice before I rma it? Thanks if you can help.
Do not try to re lock bootloader
So can you get to TWRP or not? You state you can't get to recovery? Can you useADB?

Have you tried Formatting the data partition? You might try that then do a system reset and then reinstall whatever ROM you want. Note, it will wipe all the data on your internal sd card, so you should transfer important files to a pc. You will also have to reinstall recovery via ADB.

What is the process to do this? I will definitely try it. What does formatting do? Thanks for your help
Formatting will completely ERASE your internal storage partition, so you will LOSE all personal files that are stored here. You need to backup your data first to your pc, etc.
Boot into TWRP and select 'WIPE'. Then select the button on the lower right, 'Format Data'. You will be presented with a warning screen where you will have to type 'Yes' to confirm you understand that you are deleting all personal files. Type 'Yes' and it will format this partition. Personally, I then go back and perform a factory reset after formatting the Data partition. I then reboot back into recovery and transfer over the files that I need from my PC.
Hopefully this will fix the issue for you.

Notta. I think something is messed up with it.
The way I fix the wifi bug. Flash oos And codeworks universal twrp. Then flash stock boot.Img in twrp then flash mgsik 15.2 then flash a custom kernel (I'm currently on new kernel v1.08. That's how I fixed my wifi bug. )
Don't know of that helps but that's how I fixed it.
Have you tried following the instructions for roll back here:

Hello, I did install twrp, flashed RR rom, but evertime I start rom once, I cant mount /data and storage to install more apps, I would have to change Data partition to exFat and then to EXT4, but that wipes phone, I can flash zip, have to do all the settings again and then its unloadable again. Any ideas please? I have flashed RR, gapps and I want to falsh magisk now, but I simply cant because of this... Cant even do screenshot in twrp and then acces the image... ffs
