Hello guys,
I'm about to unlock bootloader , so I wanted to know Does it really wipe all the data on my phone and what about the files ?
and if it wipes the data away , is there anyway I can root without losing my data and files ?

Yes, it does.
No way. Backup data before unlocking. Locked boot = no root.

I was reading the whole process of unlocking the bootloader, installing custom recovery, then rooting but unfortunately I didn't want to wipe the internal data storage in the process. Is there a way to get it rooted without wiping the phone?
Thanks in advance!

Rooting itself does not erase the data. Unlocking the bootloader does. No other bootloader methods are available, so it looks like you can't. Sorry man!
I just finished rooted my Verizon G4 (which by the way doesn't wipe any data and took less than 15 minutes). What I'd love to have is Xposed though, is there any update on either Xposed without TWRP, or getting TWRP on our Verizon G4's?
I just want to confirm -- it doesn't wipe any of your internal/sd card data?

No all my apps and settings were there after flashing the rooted tar. Root stays after a factory data reset too.
Where is this root, of which you speak?

If I do a back up on twrp I will not have any space avabile and now my question if I want to delete all my apps and data to give my phone to an other person and go to Setting->Backup&Reset->Factory reset without an back up on twrp to save space will my phone remain without operation sistem (android 7) and I will be stuck in recovery mode without OS ( I am verry noob and if you can explain to me I will be greatfull And please do no be mad on my english
If you do a factory reset you will just erase all your data, it wont touch the system

You don't need a backup in TWRP. Best way to get back to factory is use image from google and flashall in fastboot. This will erase userdata, system, and recovery all back to stock. Best way to do it. Once you do flashall you can lock bootloader if you want though it's better to stay unlocked if ever there are problems.
If you are giving your phone to someone else make sure to delete your google account to disable device protection so someone else can use it.

but i was wondering if i can copy all data on internal sd card to my pc thru some sort of software?
Tried doing research on my own but to no avail.

i have no clue its fully stock. nothing ever done to it. she is not into tech.
If bootloader is locked - in my opinion there is no option to backup data without knowing a password.
Unlocking bt will also wipe data, so in this case, this data is lost forever unfortunately.
what happens if i flash firmware thru odin?

hi guys, question does unlocking bootloader will wipe out all the data? and if so. would you recommend a back up software that can literally back up all apps and app data? I have under 50hours until I can lock my bootloader and finally install a custom rom but I really need to back up all my apps and app data like replicate what data I have inside. because its really important. My phone is not rooted as well. any suggestions? TIA
Yes, unlocking will wipe all apps and data. As for backup, i would recommend using the integrated google backup, as it's easiest and rather reliable. Unless a device is rooted, backup apps like migrate ore swift backup or titanium won't wok.
