My Panda Phone

I bought a white battery cover directly from Sony Ericsson, it costed me 5 euros and I turned my phone into a... panda!
Anyone who is interested in doing that and is wondering how will it look like, here's a small preview!

I have been looking for a black battery cover for my white one but no luck yet since it is very hard to tell whether it is a genuine part or not!

I called the Xperia dedicated line for my country and they gave me the address of a retailer, so I ordered it from him and got it officially from SE, so no way it is a knock-off!
Call SE support for your country.

Problem with choose a good case.

Hi,
I would like to buy a case, but I have some problems with decision which I should buy.
I want to have a good protection and don't want to lost thin. Someone say that If I play 3d game which makes my phone hot I can't use a full silicon or something like this case. So, is it true? I need to buy mesh?
If you have any proposition, please help me.

Anyone use a stylus with their S2 for note taking or whatever? If so which do you have and how do you like it?

I bought one for the phone to write quicker and get better accuracy which worked great when I used it. But I found that I miss placed it, or just plain forget to grab it, more often that not. Maybe, you will have a different experience with a stylus.

I'm using stylus on my GT I9100. It is stylus dedicated to P1000 ( first Galaxy Tab). It worka like a charm

Yes, I bought a 3pack ofgeneric ones from HK on amazon. work good. For daily I typically use one of the mini ones that plugs into headphone jack. Works well as a dust plug.

[REQ] Brighter notification LED

Hello
I just got my Z1 compact and so far love it (after some modifications) however I think the notification LED is way too dim for my tastes.
On Xperia 2011 devices there was a way to increase notification led brightness but apparently it no longer works since too many things have changed.
Does anyone know of a way to achieve this??

There is a thin band which cover the led. I believe it's made of tissue. I took it away with a thin lame. Now the led is much brighter. If you have to do it. Do it on your own risk. It worked for me!

I'd like to thank you for the mention, but I'm out of thanks for today.

I also posted the mod rebased to Z1C .108 firmware here and I've included a file that only boosts the notification led. They are however untested so you're welcome to try if it helps.

Instructions not clear, got phone stuck on tree. Kiddin'.
I was trying to remove the tissue-like thing as well, but it just got scattered (hair like thingies), I don't have a thin lame, all I using now is a sewing needle. Would like to have clear set of instructions.

you will need a scalpel with a thin lame in order to reach the little (hair) left from that tissue, to take away the little (thingies)... it is a meticulous work
no risks of having troubles with the water resist.

I totally agree with the OP: great phone but highly disappointing notification led !!!
Reading around I only see two mods:
- a software mod here but it doesn't work anymore with the last KK firmware (14.4.A.0.157)
- an hardware mod that does work and according to this thread doesn't jeopardize the impermeability. Unfortunately it's not very clear how to perform the mod: santacrutz and dontbelive, would you mind going in deeper details ?

Looking too. Haven't found one yet. Don't know if they're available yet. Lg usually releases these type of things pretty late imo..

Im waiting for any after market ones. Preferably with a soft back like the predecessor V10.

Ugggh, Verizon branded...

After the Note Coral Blue, I find I've grown tired of 16 years of an endless array of black, silver, silver and black, silver...... you get the idea. I wanted a pink V20. I'd take any branding.

i've seen them in china, not sure if they are OEM, mine is in perfect condition, so I have no need to look for one. I also have a Pink V20.

Want to trade for a silver T-Mobile?
