Battery covers now at cnn!! (Black only though!)

i recently checked cnn.cn and they have battery covers for sale now for 11 dollars
i wouldn't doubt cnn, their products are high quality i've ordered from them before

Mytrendyphone.com have all the original spare parts for the X1 like Battery covers in both black and silver.

I ordered one black cover, 16$ only, let's hope I get it

let us know when You'll get it. I wonder how would it look to have a silver x1 with black batt cover...?

Does the cover come with the X1-logo sticker?

anyone here changed housing by themselves? mine is cracked/scratched to bits. i wanna change it

I have done it. It is definitely doable but you have to be very comfortable in working with tiny components. If you wanted to only change the back it would be pretty easy, but if you do the front it gets harder.
I did the whole thing. Mine looks and feels brand new now and its great.
I guess also if you wanted to change the color of your xperia you could safely order the other color housing. Just a thought

I don't have a picture, but the case is just like the mesh case in the other topic. Only difference is that it covers the top right area(where the antenna would be in the Korean version) and no holes on the back of the case.

Fits great, I just got my green one in today. It feels great in hand and fits really really well. I'm thinking about getting another color. I really really like it, Ide take pics but i don't have a camera with batteries other than the one on my phone.
I know it doesn't protect the top and bottom of the phone but if your extra careful with your phone (which i am) you don't have to worry about it too much. it has raised edges so it will protect it from a direct face first fall

i have it in black it is very nice and came with a free screen protector that i screwed up trying to put on

I really like the blue one. I have black and red mesh ones and really like them so I'm in for this one too! Will post pics when I receive them

Carbon Fiber like back....

Made this myself. Own my own vinyl sign business so had some carbon fiber scraps laying around. I think it came out looking pretty good. What do you guys think?

Cool part is, its quality vinyl. So I can take it off with no residue and do what ever color I feel. Have a matte black on there right now.

Carbon is a little more. But any basic color. Well, never want to get rich of my fellow Android lovers. Maybe $8 plus shipping. Sounds reasonable.
However, would like to send a free one to some one...just so I know there is no issues. I may be more reasonable with my own work

i'm here in Singapore and i got my tab 10.1 from google io... the tab 10.1 is only going on sale end this month and mine has been naked except for an improvised ipad 2 protector on the front. i was hoping to give it some back protection

I'm sure I could. Only piece missing now is the top by the camera. Just need to get the design down right. I will see what I can do.

Could this case harm my phone?

and now I saw that it uses a magnet to turn on/off the screen. I remember reading about magnets harming phones (compass, screen, etc.), so I wonder if I should cancel my order or if this case will be safe to use?

Don't panic. Magnets used in those kind of cases are safe for your phone.

Yeah you shouldn't worry. Even one of the official cases from Google/LG has the same feature.

Thx everybody! Happily awaiting the arrival of my case (and my screen protectors) then. The on/off feature may even be a really nice thing, saves the power button some work.
@Galaxysm: No idea, but amazon.de ships almost everywhere and the price is really good atm. It fluctuates a lot on this case, I saw it for 16.99 two weeks ago, then 20.99 last week and today 9.99,

I've got the same case. The material on the inside is the same as the material on the outside (the color accent on the outside). It won't damage the screen at all, but it's not "soft," per se. Just smooth.

lukas_s got it right, I installed a screen protector on my device just because I'm paranoid like that, but it is very smooth, and the cards stay very secure. I'm happy with my purchase, and for under $20 you can't go wrong.

Looking too. Haven't found one yet. Don't know if they're available yet. Lg usually releases these type of things pretty late imo..

Im waiting for any after market ones. Preferably with a soft back like the predecessor V10.

Ugggh, Verizon branded...

After the Note Coral Blue, I find I've grown tired of 16 years of an endless array of black, silver, silver and black, silver...... you get the idea. I wanted a pink V20. I'd take any branding.

i've seen them in china, not sure if they are OEM, mine is in perfect condition, so I have no need to look for one. I also have a Pink V20.
