Hello dear XDA Devs, I have a Big problem with the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with the 4G+ it cant aggregate with 1800+2600 bands in my country (France) with Freemobile (Carrier). It works correctly with 800/700+2600. And for me this is anoying. Can Someone explain me why this is not working ? or if there is a tool to flash the modem ? Maybe I can wait for the next Android Oreo?'
to know which bands I am using, I have rooted the phone and use the Network Signal Guru app
⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠⚠
IMPORTANT FOR XIAOMI MIX 2 USERS !!
Please take note of the bug report on official Xiaomi Forum: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1419511

I can't find any specifics on the Mix 2's carrier aggregation specs, but it's possible that the combo you're looking for just isn't supported. I recall that my old ZTE Axon 7 had carrier aggregation for bands 2+4 but not 2/4+13, so Verizon customers here in the USA only got partial CA support.
Of course, I'm only speculating...I could be wrong and perhaps there's a mod via QXDM or something that could enable additional CA support.

Hi, There is no any programs which you can use to switch on additional bands. The truth is you should have check which bands mobile you want to buy support. Each mobile has a modem and this module decides which bands are aggregated.
Once again. First check and next buy.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is a cat. 12 LTE, this is verry good. Not the best for sure but with cat. 12 you can do 3xCA.
All LTE connectivity details from Xiaomi website.
Supports high-quality VoLTE calls
Network bands
4G: TD-LTE 34 / 38 / 39 / 40 / 41
4G: FDD-LTE 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 7 / 8 / 12 / 13 / 17
18 / 19 / 20 / 25 / 26 / 27 / 28 / 29 / 30
B41 supports full 2496 MHz - 2690 MHz bandwith
LTE B41 4-antenna technology supports 4x4 MIMO
Having a little talk with a few people who are familiar with Xiaomi's ROMs, this may come from the baseband, and this could be corrected in a future official update of MIUI. I hope
I have tested theses configurations in Network Signal Guru APP:
ISP: Freemobile have 700, 1800, 2600 for LTE
ISP: Orange F. have 800, 1800, 2600 for LTE
1 Band
700 Only: Works
800 Only: Works
1800 Only: Works
2600 Only: Works

800+2600: Works
1800+2600: Not working
700+1800: N/A
800+1800: N/A Testing soon.

Yes, I haved tested to make changes to the CA_BC_CONFIG and others parameters in QXDM but this is not working, looks like xiaomi uses another configuration parameters.
Saving values in QXDM works but don't change phone state and don't solve the carrier aggregation problem...
I confirm. B3+B7 don't work. (italy, vodafone it)
Xiaomi solve the bug pleae. Snapdragon834 support 4CA and xiaomi support 1CA.

It has the information.
HTC One M9 Unlocked & Developer Edition Band Support
2 (1,900 MHz)
3 (1,800 MHz)
4 (1,700 MHz AWS)
5 (850 MHz)
7 (2,600 MHz)
12 (700 MHz lower A/B/C)
13 (700 MHz upper C)
17 (700 MHz lower B/C)
29 (700 MHz D/E)
30 (2,300 MHz WCS)
I also want to ask about can this version work on Verizon LTE network?
I cannot get the developer edition M9 to become activated on Verizon Wireless in United States.
According to HTC website: us/go/htc-one-unlocked-developer
HTC One M9 Unlocked & Developer Edition Band Support
2 (1,900 MHz)
3 (1,800 MHz)
4 (1,700 MHz AWS)

13 (700 MHz upper C)
17 (700 MHz lower B/C)
29 (700 MHz D/E)
30 (2,300 MHz WCS)
And according to Wikipedia: wiki/Verizon_Wireless#Radio_frequency_summary
Frequencies used on the Verizon Network
Frequency Band Band number Protocol Class Status Notes
850 MHz Cellular 0 1xRTT/EV-DO/eHRPD 3G Active
1900 MHz PCS 1 1xRTT/EV-DO/eHRPD 3G Active Planning to reallocate to 4G in 2015.[34]
700 MHz Block C 13 LTE 4G Active Full coverage achieved at the end of Q2 2013, former UHF TV channel 54 uplink and 59 downlink.[35]
1700/2100 MHz AWS 4 LTE 4G Active Branded as "XLTE",[36] Additional band for increased bandwidth.
1900 MHz PCS 2 LTE 4G Building out Being deployed,[37] Additional band for increased bandwidth.
So am I screwed because the HTC One M9 Developer edition does not support bands 0 and 1 that Verizon uses?

The Developer Edition is a GSM / AT&T / T-mobile / International device
Verizon is a CDMA carrier / Same as Sprint. If you did get the DE to work on a CDMA carrier it would be very limited in it's abilities.
Right. I was confused because I tried to do due diligence before I ordered and was told by HTC that it would work on Verizon. But after further research, obviously not. Bummer
Well if I get the Verizon version I'll have locked bootloader. Will the M8 developer edition work on CDMA?

Yup, I had HTC tell me me the same thing about it working on Sprint. They don't have any clue what they are talking about. You need the Verizon one.
Sorry if this is being posted before but I could not confirm an answer in google or xda forum.
Can anyone inform me if N910A (AT&T) Note 4 have Band 3 and Band 7?
AT&T website indicate B1 / B2 / B3 / B4 / B5 / B7 / B12 / B17 / B20 and B29
Samsung website indicate B2 / B4 / B5 / B12 / B17
I am using it in Asia and LTE B3, B7 are the only ones available
Thanks in advance
Can someone please reply to this.
It is a big problem for me also, since I have been in USA for some time now working, and now I am going back home to Croatia.
I read the same thing about N910A LTE bands on Samsung website, and then went to AT&T official website to international coverage troubleshoot and there it sad that note 4 should work in my home country on GSM/3G/LTE without any problems.
This is what they show about note 4 on their international troubleshoot:
NETWORK
- GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900
- UMTS/HSPA+ 850/1900/2100
- LTE Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17, 20, 29
Hi All,
Paranoid purchaser here of the new oneplus 3, using a freight forwarder via USA to Australia (comgateway), i have used them before and they are very efficient, purchased oneplus 1 and the oneplus 2.
looking at this : http://willmyphonework.net/ , it looks like it will work here, only missing band 28 700mhz,
any1 else going this route? i do know there were work around to enable further lte bands on the oneplus 1 and 2
i didnt have a issue getting reception with either of those handsets,

Both handsets previously had band 28 . If you use Telstra or Optus then dont buy! Band 28 very important for great 4g coverage with great speeds.
Not buying just for that reason. The way to enable the band 28 is very hard or non existent. Good luck either way.

Hi,
Are you sure both the OnePlus One and Two had band 28? According to these links neither had it:

Australian frequencies vs. OnePlus frequencies
From what I can find;
The frequencies used in Australia are;
from whirlpool . net . au / wiki / mobile_phone_frequencies
optus: 1, 3, 7, 28, 40, 42
telstra: 1, 3, 7, 8, 28
Vodafone: 3, 5
NBN: 40, 42 (42 is currently in trials)
The frequencies the various models of OnePlus 3 use are;
from oneplus . net / global / 3 / specs
US Model: 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17
EU/Asia Model: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38, 40, 41
China Model: 1, 3, 7, 38, 39, 40, 41
Looks to me like the EU will be the best option, then Chinese, and US last.
Can anyone tell me the LTE bands that will be active on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2?

I guess we'll have the answer after the keynote
