Hi everyone, this is my first post, so thanks for reading!
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5", and along with it I got the Samsung Bluetooth Keyboard. It's great and sleek; they work really well together. However, I am still wary of scratching up the tablet since the keyboard doesn't come with a cover and only serves as a stand.
I was wondering whether there are any covers for the tablet available that would be compatible with the keyboard; AUA: the tablet will still fit in the keyboard while it has the cover/protector attached. If not, I was wondering if there are any great pouches big and snug enough to keep the tablet folded with the keyboard inside? A pouch might be nice actually since the keyboard itself was rather expensive as well, so keeping it in good condition is preferable.
I hope the answers here help others, too, because I couldn't really find any threads addressing this issue.
Here is the keyboard in question: samsung . com /us/ mobile/galaxy-tab-accessories/EJ-CT800UAEGUJ
Many thanks!
PS. It would be nice to have a cover/protector to complement this titanium bronze color. Not necessary though :fingers-crossed:
PPS. I know this sorta belongs in the Galaxy Tab S Accessories forum, but I was warned that posting questions there is against the rules.
There should be plenty of netbook cases fitting it.
Aw alright thanks

Hmm well if that's the only option then I guess that's alright with me. I was just hoping that there was a more eloquent solution.
I'll definitely look into it though. Thank you very much for your advice.
I hope Samsung does eventually produce a matching case or pouch for the tab + keyboard.
I have this and it protects the screen while closed (there are 4 plastic holders at the edges) or do you want the backside to be protected as well?

oh yeah it protects my screen well when it is closed. I just wanted something for the back for when I close it and carry it around. I don't want to scratch the tablet anywhere; as little as possible at least
I got the Logitech keyboard instead because it was $50 cheaper and protects both the screen and the back of the tablet. I'd suggest you return the Samsung keyboard and get the Logitech one

Thanks but I tried the logitech one and I didn't like the feel. It felt cheaper. Also they let me buy the Samsung one for 50% off cuz I asked
Haha well to each his own!
I got this one and have only had it a couple days. Keyboard is included and seems to work well.

I have the Samsung book cover that I love but if I wanted a keyboard it would be this one. Very nice at a good price. Good find.
I have this one for a quick running out the door cover, no keyboard. One not so good feature, it's really hard to use it for a stand. Doesn't work well for that but otherwise it's super. I've got one for my Note 3 also.

No need to tell you all how much we use the pen, being forced to lose it, Ouch....... So can we get the S7 or S7 active too read the X Y of the pen, I know we can't store the S-pen in the phone, but that's a small price to pay.
i think note series had special digitalizer..very diferent with s7 s7edge
Nope. Won't work.
The Note devices has a Wacom digitizer beneath that works with the S Pen.
You could try getting a Samsung Tablet that comes with the S Pen. The Note 7 Pen should work on it too.
Thanks for the reply guys, its shame it cant be done, I can't let go of my note 7, using the pen on the s/edge7 would have been to convenient huh
✒ SPen. Let me give you my 3 cents.
What is not: resistive or capacitive pen. Meaning aplying pressure (Like and old iPhone) will not make it work like the resistive pens. Nor will holding it with your hand or touching skin-pen combination. You can put it on a vise-grip and it will work.
What it is: It works like the sensor on your car keys. Where it has a coil inside and if you place it close enough to a magnetic source you will get feedback or pen strokes. The Note 7 has a metal sheet used as a magnetic source behind its regular screen.
What you need on a Non-Note phone is a "Capacitive" pen. Made of all metal some with battery and make direct skin-pen to screen contact for it to work like the SPen. Unfortunately nobody wants metal rubbing a glass screen obviously ?

On one You Tube review of the Note FE there is a suggestion that Samsung have included a free clear view case as Note 7 cases will not fit the Note FE. So list any Note FE accessories you find here. I've ordered Note 7 screen protector for my Note FE so will back with my findings.

Edit I've done some more research and it seems the Note 7 Led case does not work with the FE version.

I just installed a unused Verizon glass protector and ringke clear case on Note FE . fit perfectly, nothing changed.
also samsung included a flip case with the phone, which feel better than most of case on market. i think i will stick with it from now on.
As I said,.its only the led case that may not work.

Note 7 OEM Samsung wireless charging case doesn't work with Note FE. The receiver must be placed slightly different in the FE. It will charge for a few seconds then say "charging paused" and the blue light flashes on the case.

I was going to guess that this was disabled by design, to eliminate another possible/future overheating source/cause. But, since it works for a moment, perhaps it's a physical change in the construction of the phone.
We'll probably find out w/certainty as soon as more people get the phone & dig deeper into it, both hardware & software......

the S8 initially came out being unable to use older wireless chargers but was resolved with a software update. It may follow shortly...
I also got a Note 7 flip case off amazon (.co.uk) for £3 as opposed to £15 so until the sellers realise, take advantage and buy cheap note 7 accessories!
I'm very pleased with this wet application screen protector, matt so good for the S-pen

Clear and S Pen friendly if you use the harder nib. Bit tricky to apply but sticks okay to edges.

I agree about original Samsung protectors. Sadly now no longer available. The Mobilefun protectors are not as rubbery as some others.

Agree about smudges. Samsung clear view case okay with this protector.
The original Clear View case for the Note 7 does not. Only the free Clear View case works correctly.

no experience with that brand screen protector; i ordered the Puregear from eBay; i've used this brand before with great results. should be here next week. irrelevant side note: a friend gave me his Tab S3 S-Pen (he doesn't like it) and it works perfectly with the FE. i imagine it will work well with the SGN8 as well

Sadly I'm in the UK. Shipping by USPS $12?
Been reading up on both. does anyone have both? Also looking for a case to hold the pen. Looks like we are all waiting for a few places to come out with one that is good.
Excited to get mine. will be here on Thursday.
I don't have both, but the fold SPen is the perfect size in my opinion. I was expecting it to be approximately the same size as the note 20 ultra pen so I ordered the pro model as well. I've since canceled the pro pen order as the fold pen is perfect for what I need. I use it to make notes and navigate on the inner screen.
I own the Fold Edition s pen. I really don't need the added functionality of the Pro model pen on my Fold as I already own other s pen devices with said capabilities. Also, the size of the Pro pen doesn't seem right, doesn't seem comfortable to hold do to its length.
Here are my stylus pens for my Tab S7 Plus, Fold3, wife's Tab S6 and her N20U.
I have both. Was a mistake in ordering.
I only wanted the fold edition.
The pro is thicker and longer. More of a sit down and maybe draw vs the fold edition which is more portable to me.
The only added for the pro is bluetooth. But even when i had my note i never used the bluetooth parts.
I have the fold edition and am waiting on my pro to arrive. I use a ton of the Bluetooth features, along with the basics. I purchased the fold edition, only because the pro wasn't in sock at the places I looked. I will be returning the fold edition and case combo as soon as my pro arrives..
The S pen Pro is significantly larger than the Fold edition and will not fit in the case for Flip cover with the detachable Fold edition S pen
I have both S Pens and for the Fold 3 the simpler cheaper S Pen is fine. The Pro does not seem to have a smaller stylus size than the S Pen with Tab S7 + so not sure why one would want the Pro.
I got both just because they were "free" with credits. One for using at home (Pro), and the other for on the go (Fold Edition) my Fold Edition arrived with the TERRIBLE flip case, but I'm still waiting on my Pro.
I Have the pro... strangely enough it will not connect to my fold 3. (im using nova & Microsoft launchers with the screenscut down to 48 maxhz adaptive for battery)

(Controversial ?) answer... NEITHER! I will never use the S Pen Fold that came free with my Fold3.
I owned every Note from the Note 4 upwards - for the big screen, big storage and latest camera tech
- I never ever used the S Pen and never saw the point of it. RIP Samsung Note range.

I am often annoyed because the S-Pen Fold edition touches the screen, but nothing happens. I'm not even sure if this is on purpose by the software or a bug. Often happens with buttons, like the 4 buttons on top of the notification center (above the quick settings toggles)

Hmm sounds odd. I'll give that a test after work. I know the front screen doesn't support the spen but not sure of any areas on the inner screen that don't

It's difficult to explain. I can touch them too and they work, when you tap on it with the S-Pen "firmly", but if you just touch it without pressing it won't work lot of times for me. I don't know how to explain that easily. This just happens with some UI elements, that's why I kinda think that it's intentional. But I now this never happened with my Note 10+ and a "real" S-Pen

Defo sounds odd. I'm not sure if we can alter spen sensitivity or not can we?
So if I hold down buttons (on a forbidden stylus)) I can click and drag in my fold4. It is ABSOLUTELY compatable with older stylus
Its a simple matter of having it allowing the frequency codes of the other stylus. We know it sees them in order to throw up the warnings.
I strongly believe the "will damage your screen" warnings are for gorillas who might use the phone.
I have never warn out a single stylus,
I am a very light pressure drawer and on op of that I have soft nibs & spring nibs from other pens
I want to take the risk and use my standard pens as I have many Wacom devices I use at once and it get annoying swaping pens.
Yes I have the 2-in-1 pro spen. But I dont want the hassle of having to flip the switch 100 times a day.
Same here, hope there is a workaround.
¿Any non samsung spen compatible with our fold 4? I don't want the bt version, just a standar one to have it at home.

Nillkin iSketch Adjustable Capacitive Stylus... Bought one a year or so ago. It works on ALL capacitive touch screens...
Cost around $50Aud but work brilliantly...

You should find a little cheaper if you look as this was 1st hit I found....
I have an old Samsung HM5100 stylus and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be able to use it with my fold 4. If anyone can figure out how I can I will be forever thankful.
Came from Note 20 Ultra. There is no reason I shouldn't be able to use it on my Fold4.
Let us all not let this thread die, please.
I have a Note 8 AND a Note 10+.
Both their S-Pen's air gestures can be recognized by the sensors on the Fold 4's inner display.
And I'm gonna be using it with a screen protector anyway.
I don't understand WHY anyone hasn't paid attention to this thread yet.
Come on guys, you'll be collecting blessings out of this.

NO !
SPen Fold edition has an special "retractile nib system" to use with Samsung Folds
Oddly enough, I use the Nilikin Spen on all my devices and it works on the fold 4 even when I turn the SPEN 'off' on the phone, because it is a powered pen (chargeable) .. but- it defeats the purpose. The pen is BIG and has to be carried just as the original SPEN coming from Samsung, and the fold phones do not have WHERE to put them, unless the case has it, and I use the phone naked. Further more- I use a Samsung laptop and it comes with a built in pen that DOES NOT work on the FOLD. Frustration? Hack yeah ! So I have a pen that works on 'all' my devices, but it isn't a reasonable solution. Also - The Nilikin pen has a fairly wide tip compared to the original FOLD SPEN. Not great. Samsung must find a way, with such a bulky phone, to host an SPEN, and better be one compatible to their other devices (laptop and N10/N20 series). Pathetic solution so far for the FOLD 3/4 .
Ok, I won't buy it then!
