That's a neat looking back cover! Hopefully it'll be available (with NFC, of course!) eventually.

Well that SUCKS BALLS... America isn't the only place where people have these phones and I'd say is only a very small sample of all people owning this phone...
I'd REALLY like to know why companies seem to think that there is nowhere else out there worth including in deals and competitions...

Hey, sorry about that. It's only because I am from the North America team so that's why that contest was only for US and Canada. Maybe with all the effort I'm putting toward XDA and Reddit, my counterparts in other regions might host some contests too!

Xiaomi MiBAND 2 Device has announced at $25 with OLED Display today

I have heard a lot of rumors of Xiaomi Miband 2, but Lei Jun, Xiaomi CEO has confirmed it will be announced on June 2 and started to sell on June 7. So we have finally brought the mysterious wearable device. It has confirmed to have OLED display and provide heart rate sensor to test heart rate. It can also support lifting wrist for screen on.and show pedometer, time, heart rate and miles. What’s more, when you sit long, it will remind you of exercising, and phone call notification. It will support up to 20 days battery life.
Right now it only sells at $25. How can Samsung and fitbit live and compete? So are you excited with this price? And Xiaomi miband 2 review has come out, so comfortable for me.

I was wondering when they were going to officially come out. $25 is a pretty good price. I am no fitness guru but I might have a go at this one. Thanks

I've already seen it around for $39. I hope it gets a bit cheaper.

the official price is very cheaper, but it will absolutely be higher than xiaomi miband 1s.

I love the look of this, I think xiaomi are really branching out. Some might think I am silly for saying this, but I reckon they will be a giant in devices manufacture and will be the go to device in the future.

Can you believe Xiaomi miband 2 wins, during this review, Xiaomi Miband 2 vs Apple Watch vs Fitbit Blaze? xiaomi miband 2 is so cheap, how can it beat Apple watch and Fitbit blaze?

WOW, everyone thinks apple is the quality device, hahahhahhahahah I have to laugh, I hope no1 is basing their training on the readouts of the Apple and the Fitbit then, given they have a heartbeat reading from a plastic bottle.

[NEWS]Sony Xperia X Device Sales Skyrockets In South Africa

We all know that the Xperia X, as supposed to Sony's new flagship, to be sort of a mix bag of a smartphone. As the phone contains the same specifications that you would get in a Smartphone that's twice as cheap as it already is. But it seems like advertising does pay off, no matter how bad a smartphone is.
I have actually noticed on South Africa's Vodacom (Vodafone ) website, how the Xperia X is a "Popular Smartphone," and that the phone's delivery "may be delayed" because of it. Not even other great phones, such as the Galaxy S7 or Note 5, get's the 'Popular phone' marking. As I further studied into this, I actually got some surprising answers from the Vodacom headquarters...
An other day ago, I have decided to contact the Vodacom headquarters and asked some questions about the Xperia X's sales. Their reply were...
"We had advertised the new Xperia X because of its great camera capabilities, and since South Africans love taking photos of their wonderful life, we have decided to advertise this smartphone more than the others. In fact, because of our advertising, we have gotten over 94 000 online sales last month from July to August 2016. We hope that we have answered your question.."
...And so I have asked them also about their S7 sales in the last month...
"We have also gotten reasonably good S7 sales in South Africa; around 70 000 sales online already in the last month."
So I told them thanks for everything.
It seems like advertising a Smartphone, no matter what the price or the specs, really delivers. We ALL know that there are alot of better smartphones out there apart from the Xperia X, but advertising something to look better then the other, in this case, the Xperia X over the S7, really shows what advertising can do.

is it safe to use Note 7 Hongkong Version SM-N9300?

Today Samsung requested all the Samsung Note 7 Owners to Switch off their phone and stop using it.
I have a Note 7 Hongkong version SM-N9300, Which has a Green Battery and the Faulty Tests shows that my phone is NOT among the Affected ones.
My Question is "IS IT SAFE TO USE MY PHONE NOW?

As far as I know the actual recall is currently in the US only (Not Australia, according to Samsung. I asked them) however I'd guess it's going to be worldwide very soon. And this includes all the replacement ones that were deemed "safe".
So, your Note 7 will /probably/ be recalled soon enough. Nobody can tell if your phone is safe though. Impossible to know.

Samsung Hong Kong just announced earlier for all people with HK Note 7s to stop using and return the phone. To be honest, the potential battery problem ALWAYS included China and HK phones, Samsung's HK and China divisions were just shady as hell and kept selling on September 2 when Samsung headquarters first announced they made a huge mistake. Samsung HK has been getting killed online by people for weeks for seemingly apathy. I'm surprised they acted so soon this time to echo what the rest of the world is doing.
so long story short, no, your HK note is included in the call for return. All note 7s are. the phone is done.

Well my Note 7 is perfectly fine. The battery and everything is perfectly fine. NO HEAT ISSUE. i am trying to contact the person who sold it to me to check what the supplier stand on this.

I just wonder the problem is not the battery but rather the processor.
The one in China are not exynos which produce more heat

The Recall is GLOBAL, as in INTERNATIONAL. NO SAMSUNG NOTE 7 IS SAFE! RETURN IT!

Customs ROMs needed for black shark 3

Hi Developers, how are you doing ? I wish you can make ROMs for black shark phones, because the company has forgotten that they have a line called Black shark!
Joyui 11 MP3 is full of bugs and security patch is 05-06-2020!!

They would love to but without the kernel source, it wont be possible.
Bs3 users need to unite and oblige Blackshark to released this expensive phone's kernel sources. Their firmwares are buggy, inconsistent OTA updates, outdated security patches. Seriously if Blackshark's Dev team CANT COMPLY to the user needs, they shouldn't consider releasing any phones at all. Or if they really decided to abandoned a device development after selling lots of units to the world, atleast leave your consumers with the kernel source so the community can make the best out of their crappy promises devices esp if its $500+ devices
This a a complete deception, greediness, lack of responsibility, false promises, all out lies to the consumers/world. I guess that's typically Chinese for you?
They should be sued because maybe they dont want you to change their phone's software maybe because it's their means of spying in your countries. They sold us the hardware and they want full control on the software level for those hardware switches which makes sense. It's like hitting 4 targets with just one stone which is very clever indeed. China prolly will rule the world in 10 years from now .
I regret buying this phone and when anyone ask me for recommendations, i will say "NEVER BUY A BLACKSHARK PHONE"

It means the Joyui 12 global coming to Black Shark 3 next month. But I guess custom roms would be better! I wish we could had the kernel source !

Agreed. And no NFC, either. This probably isn't the worst phone I've ever owned, but it's not too far off, and it's not really an upgrade from my previous phone, the Mate 20X. This has at least as many software issues as that phone, but overall lower quality software and hardware, I'd say. It's a gimmick phone, not a great phone
