Rooting Sonim XP7 5.1.1 - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Hi guys,
Has anyone ever successfully rooted a Sonim XP7 running 5.1.1 Lollipop? I've tried all the popular 1 click root methods and all have failed. It's not possible to flash SuperSU since there was no custom recovery developed for this model phone. Does anyone have any ideas?

Stock with Root

Hey all,
I'm looking to upgrade my T-Mobile S6 to 5.1.1. I'm currently rooted (via pingpong) on 5.0.2. All of the rooting instructions for 5.1.1 involve flashing a separate ROM. I'd like not to have to do that. Is there a way to just root the stock image?

Root N5120 with n5120xxdod1 firmware

Hello All,
Need some help. I have a GT-N5120 (Note 8.0 LTE) with the latest BTU firmware n5120xxdod1. I searched all over the internet on methods of how to root this build but to no avail. Can anyone suggest a method on how to root this latest firmware?
Thanks.
Have you tried flashing supersu from recovery? This may also work with Odin: https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/
Managed with your suggestion... although I had to root it twice before it worked properly since the 1st root still blocks SuperSU. thanks

Not rootable!?!?!

So i've had my gs4mini a while now and it refuses to root.
it is i9192 (dual sim) out of box running 4.4.2. cf-root fails and i'm running out of options. I really want cm 12.1 on my device.
how can i achieve root?
is it true that i need root to install a custom recovery? like the one posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/root-samsung-galaxy-s4-mini-dual-sim-gt-t2819284
any advice will be helpful.

Your goal is to use CM12.1, you can directly flash custom recovery via Odin then proceed with CM installation steps.
You don't need root to install custom recovery.
& CF-AUTO-ROOT is meant to root the devise without replacing stock recovery and trip Knox warranty status.

AT&T GPad F 8.0 (V495) Marshmallow 6 OTA Upgrade Fail

Hi my friends, I am looking for a STOCK RECOVERY for my LG G Pad F 8.0 AT&T (V495). I was trying to do an OTA upgrade to 6 but after the Download and restart the installation is giving me an error because i am ROOTED. I need to flash stock recovery to be able to install new OTA upgrade to Marshmallow 6. Is someone have a 5.0.2 STOCK Recovery or maybe another idea on how can I do and upgrade to Marshmallow 6 I will appreciate any help. Thanks
Is there a KDZ or TOT available for your variant?
I am in the same boat. I can not find the stock rom anywhere. I would like to upgrade to to 6.0. I am rooted with king root. If the stock rom is not found is there a way to unroot and delete all root files so the update does not detect the root so we can update?

In order to take OTAs (starting with Lollipop) you have to never have been rooted (since the most recent time you've flashed a KDZ or TOT).
Unrooting isn't enough.

ROOT on 925T with RC1 firmware (Nougat 7.0)

I'm not seeing any guides on rooting the new 7.0 firmware anywhere? Is it not possible?
I tried flashing TWRP through ODIN but it didn't work successfully.
Has anyone rooted this phone (non-international version)
Thank you!!
