Im thinking of picking up a F400 version phone to use in Canada. As far as I know LTE with our major networks will work and Ill do a test before buying.
However does anyone know if North American ROMs can be flashed onto the phone?
I have got the US version but as we all know the software sucks and my device actually has an pixel error so I will need to send it back anyway (efox).
What if I request a CN replacement device? What are the differences? I read that you can only choose between english and chinese language but that wouldn't be a problem.
Would I be happy with the software too?
For one, the frequency bands are different. The US version was made to work with North American networks. So depending on where you live, the Chinese version might not work with your country's carriers.
I'm referring specifically to the 4G Lte bands. If you bought the Chinese version to use in North America, you'd likely only get 3G coverage. And with many carriers soon to be going exclusively 4G, your phone will soon be useless.

Thanks for your helpful reply but 4G only? Never heard of that. Sounds scary.
Does anyone actually try to put MM 16s to our US version? I know that LP cause hard brick but what will happen with official 16s rom?
Is there any differences with bootloader or something else on hardware bases?
I can't try this because my le one pro is my main phone.
Can anyone tells me how to identify a Letv is Chinese or US version?
Here is the visual difference:
http://www.chinamobiles.org/threads/leeco-le1pro_cn-us-x800-multilanguage-rom-cuoco92.47343/
Chinese (CN) version - the bottom label on the back is in Chinese
International (US) version - the bottom label on the back is in English; CE marked
Thank you but I found a more simple way to check. Just connect phone with the computer, it will show LETV...-CN if it's Chinese version, otherwise it's international
What are exact differences between CN and US version? band support? Does US version support US LTE bands used by AT&T and TMO?

Bought my MIX2 in China with Chinese ROM. Phone worked OK in China and HK, with 4G/LTE. Back home in Canada now, only 3G available. Please help.

If the 4G band isn't supported in Canada then there's no need for help as there's nothing to be done.
According to the spec, the Canadian 4G/LTE bands are listed. I have just resolved this by flashing a global ROM. But still puzzled why I have to do so if the bands are listed in the spec. Thanks for your reply anyway.
Probably had to do with region settings in the Chinese version of the ROM.

Yes you will get LTE and 3g also you will get voice over LTE
soon im gonna move to canada and was wondering if my indian 5t would work with the carriers found there? or will i have to buy a new phone there
Op5T has only one model for all regions (A5010), which supports almost all LTE bands out there. So yes, you can use normally
(unless you travel to the US and use Verizon or Sprint)
