Direct from the RazerZone.com website it states:
Is the Razer phone capable of virtual reality?
The Razer Phone does not support certain types of VR like Daydream, but can support Google Cardboard.

It seems like this would be the best phone for Google's Daydream platform with the enhanced 120Hz display, full 2K resolution for clarity, advanced heat dissipation, stereo speakers so no need for headphones. What gives? Anyone have any ideas because this frustrates me personally?

The Razer has an LCD Display (vs LED/OLED/AMOLED) which supposedly doesn't play nice with VR.
@Munk0
If root is achieved, looks like sideloading Daydream is possible :

Using Google Cardboard on the Razer Phone is the best VR experience I have had with any device including the Pixel XL (version 1 ), Nexus 6, Nexus 5x and OnePlus 5.
Plus the Nexus 5x uses an LCD and also works good for VR. Maybe it's the brightness levels not being as high? Either way Cardboard was super fluid and I got less motion sickness because of the fast refresh rate/head tracking.
What cardboard device did you use. I'm struggling to find one that fits. ?

Did you ever find one?
Hey guys,
short and sweet: Daydream on the X is pretty nifty.
Sure, it doesn't provide a wide FOV thanks to 5" screen size, but the pixel density is pretty good and personally I'm liking the eyperience. Also, the X fits perfectly in the Samsung Gear VR headset (v 323, can be had for super cheap) which gives you a comfy fit, no light leakage and is the best VR headset for people who wear glasses ever. Adjustable lens ftw!
Daydream View 2 works really well as well. Controller might get a bit iffy to setup, but it's working now and really well at that.
My module contains a readme that explains whatelse is needed to install, basically follow the usuage procedures.
I haven't tested it on the Dual SIM model, could be that it works, but I wouldn't know.
Have fun, fam!

Hi, I want to purchase one of these ebay.com/itm/10-2-Android-8-0-Car-Stereo-GPS-for-Toyota-Highlander-Radio-Navigation-Headunit/253956386150?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055359.m2763.l2649&autorefresh=true and was wondering if you can set a high pass filter for front and rear but have it not effect the subwoofer output. Also anyone else out there have any of these specific units that could tell me how they like it.
Hi,
Any existing app/magisk module to enlarge display cutout range?
I can afford sacrificing some display area (in fact, I thought one plus 7t display area is too long), but I hate the waterdrop cutout.
Since the cutout aera is specified by a system app, any clue to create a custom cutout?
Thanks.

I'm new to custom rims so I don't know how they work with OLED burn in issues.
Does lineageos have burn in protection like shifting pixels from time to time in AOD or in notification bar?

I don't believe it does, no. Other custom ROMs do, though, such as crDroid (which uses LineageOS as its base).
