I don't know is it a hardware problem but I guess your fingerprint was learn while cable was plug.
You can try to re-learn fingerprint without cable.
you can make sensor more precision by double or tripple 'add fingerprint' with the same finger.

Hey guys,
My keyboard is quite laggy and missing keypresses when plugged into USB. This does not happen when plugged into AC! So strange. I tried turning ADB Debugging on/off, and it didn't make a difference.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Any suggestions?
So I have a new lead on this. I think I know why it is happening. My touchscreen receives ghost touches when USB is plugged in. If someone could please check this on their phones as well:
1) Install "Multitouch Test" from the Play Store
2) Open the app, touch and hold two points (there should be 2 colors under your fingers and that's it)
3) Plug into USB (in a computer, not outlet)
4) Open the app and touch and hold two points
For step 4) I see additional "ghost" touches quickly appearing and disappearing. Funny enough, the ghost touches stop happening if I touch and hold my laptop's metal case! So it seems to be some sort of grounding issue?

Thanks!
I re-tested this at work and it isn't happening here. Could be something to do with the cable at home or the laptop.

Should be the charger, I have one where it is happening too. The phone freezes every once in a while while charging with it...

It seems to be my laptop. I brought the same cable to work and it doesn't do it here. Also, the phone will freeze/crash when plugged into my laptop and stress tested. Strange.

The faulty charger in your case is represented by the laptop.
Hi guys, I'm looking here for help so I will try to describe the problem
So far, I've dismantled it 2 times not completely (didn't dismantle to part of tochscreen, digitizer etc.) and restored stock software twice, also tried rooting and installin CWM.
The problem is : 1.st thing- I't boots up and everything works, I lock it and unlock it without problems.
2.nd thing- If I try to unlock it with opening gamepad the screen stays black, even if I put game pad back.. But touch screen is usable because I can hear the sound and vibration feedback. The display becomes usable after some time of laying around.
3.rd thing- If I unlock it normally like in situation 1 and open gamepad and use phone for while, after I lock it (with opend/closed gamepad) the screen won't come on like in situation 2, but will become usable after some time of laying.
My main suspect is main flax cable.
Any kind of help is appreciated.

I`ve got a problem with my HTC that I can`t solve. First it wouldn`t charge, then the speaker suddenly turns on/off while speaking with someone. While texting, the messages suddenly disappear, so I have to type it again. Then my car navigation app turns on and off for no reason. I installed the antivirus protection and it`s still the same. Then I reinstalled the software , but still no changes. Has anyone ever had a similar experience, and what did you do to fix the problem? Thanks in advance.

R u tried charge your phone with another charging cable ??
Not charging, and randomly going to car mode; both indicate an issue with the MicroUSB port.

That would be my thought, yes.
Although I don't think it explains the other problems. Running the proper RUU (if OP's version has one) may be a good idea, and see if it helps with any of the problems.

Suddenly, my fingerprint sensor stopped working. I can still use the home button by pressing it, but touching/swiping does not do anything.
Flashed this patch https://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-zuk-z2/themes/patch-fingerprint-fix-pie-t3833320 but it did not the trick. Dirty flashed AEX 6.6 (same as before), now the sensor "works." However, after some time I frequently end up with a message on the lockscreen which loosely translates to "no fingerprint sensor hardware found". In this case, I need to unlock the phone via PIN, sometimes the sensor is then back to normal
Any ideas what could cause the problem?
