Yep, latest magisk beta worked. Had no luck with supersu 2.82.

SuperSU v2.82-SR5 works just fine.

Magisk 14.5

OOS 3.2.8 with Root, xposed, Pokemon Go working?

I usually run BJRR 10/18 with SuperSU SR4, SuHide v0.55, and Rootswitch, which safety net passes and PoGo works.
Is there a way to get Root, Xposed, and PoGo working on OOS 3.2.8?
I would like to try out all the new kernels that only support OOS atm

The magisk and phh superuser combo works on my phone. But when I enable xposed, the safetynet check fails. So, if you have xposed installed that could be your problem.

you seem to have SuperSU installed, which doesn't got that well together with Magisk.
So you need to uninstall SuperSU first, then boot into TWRP and install Magisk.

You really should be asking these questions in the Magisk forum for the best support.

Here you go! Remember to download FULL and not OTA. Also 4.5.6 got released today so just a bonus to update anyway.
Before you restart your phone after flashing the zip, make sure to flash Magisk 13.3 (download it now) since it will remove your TWRP and root. So once you flashed the Full zip. Flash Magisk right away, reboot and the flash TWRP with the official playstore app.
Will it change the rom im on? Im using experienceOS 6.0
Yes, flash the experienceos rom instead of the OOS rom

Blocked on the OnePlus logo when flashing SuperSu on OxygenOS (Oreo)

Hello,
I had to go back to the latest version of Nougat, OxygenOS 4.7.5, because it works as root with SuperSu, but I have a problem with Oreo-based OxygenOS. When I flash SuperSu (latest version) with the latest version of TWRP, I restart the phone, but I get stuck on the OnePlus logo, so the phone cannot restart after at least 15 minutes of waiting. Do you have any idea what the problem is? I can't take advantage of Android Oreo by being rooted with SuperSu, it's annoying.
SuperSU hasn't been updated in a while and I assume it doesn't support Android Oreo. I would use Magisk instead. That's what I tried with Nougat and what I'm currently using on Oreo.

It's not the same binary but it does the same thing. It will allow apps to gain root access just as SuperSU used to do
Fixed with Magisk. ?

Magisk 20.4 Install?

I currently have Magisk 20.3 and Magisk Manager 7.5.1 installed on my 3xl. I open Magisk Manager and check for new version of Magisk, but it doesn't show the latest 20.4. Has anybody updated to 20.4? If so, which version of Magisk manager did you use?

Magisk-v20.4.zip is the Beta version. In Magisk Manager settings change the update channel to Beta if you want it.
I'm on stable channel and v20.4 just showed up on my devices as an update. I updated my Nexus 6P and all is good but I'll wait a while before updating my P3XL.

Yup, Magisk-v20.4.zip Stable was released 03/28/2020.
Just updated Magisk to 20.4 and patched boot.img from Mar. I used platform tools 29.0.6 and flashed Magisk.patched img to all slots successfully.
When you update do you have to re flash a patched boot image? I have updated my magisk manager, but not magisk itself bc I was unsure of how to proceed.
