Change H+ for 4G or LTE? - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hello people. I have the Chinese model that does not take 4g in my country. I would like at least 4G or LTE instead of 3g and H +.
Is there any way? I'm root.

I think people can google this !!!
ATT (US) vs. International (HK or Chinese)
LTE = 4G
4G = H
3G = 3G
So to answer your question if you are using the .111 (HK) or .233 (Chinese) then it would show 4G for LTE. That's very normal.

N7108

hey guys. i tried searching but didnt find any answer to this.
does anyone know if the N7108 will work on att's 3g/4g network?
Only edge, no ATT ( or T-Mobile) 3g or 4g or lte for n7108 which was produced for china mobile which is primarily a cdma tech.

h+ stands for HSPA+, or "3,5G". It is an evolved version of 3G, offering higher speeds. But not close to 4G, of course. See wikipedia for more details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GSM
Unless you got a carrier-locked CDMA model from the US, AFAIK, you have a international GSM device, only capable of connecting to GSM/UMTS networks, and using any of their data protocols (EDGE, 3G, HSxPA). Any ROM that tells you that you're on 4G, they're lying to you, purely an appearance tweak.

4G HSPA + switch

Hi Guys:
Hi have a LG G3 from claro Puerto Rico I make some changes on the build prop and the bak is not there anymore. The phone now when on a call it says H and H+ but on normal use (Not in a call) it says 4G. Its the wrong way it should be 4G on calls and H and H+ on normal use. What could this be?
Thanks

Sounds like the international icons got activated. H and H+ stands for hspa and hspa+ and 4g represents Lte. Factory reset should put it back to normal. Or flashing stock ROM.

Wow really I don't want to factory reset lol.

Not always fun, if you can deal with the new icons then you won't have to.

I'm just getting 4G only in areas where I'd usually see LTE icon on my previous devices. It's def. Kicking LTE speeds though!

all european model phones usually say 4G...don't know why...it should say LTE...but if anyone is worried, LTE is working as I got 25mb download speedtest in an area that I usually get that range of speeds...so LTE is working but it just won't say so on the phone.
Yes,
4G = LTE
H+ = HSPA+
H
3G
2G

Actually, AOSP phones like Nexus say LTE...manufacturers who customize their phones change it.

thats because AOSP is american default version before google changes LTE into 4G and so on unless like you said it's carriers around world changing it.
