Hello guys i was wondering if someone developed some tool to Sim-Unlock the HTC One X Model?
first we need to do s-off to our HOX.
we are working on s.off
AAAH S off hurry up, have you tried googling unlocks or speaking to your network carrier

Guys mine SIM slot has been damaged .. SIM slot 1 (cdma/wcdma) dual SIM Indian version ..
It is faulty from the beginning but could not repair it earlier, now HTC care centre person are quoting "" 9000rs (~150$ ) "" for a whole MOTHERBOARD REPLACEMENT than just repairing it
..it is still under warranty but they are asking for it as physical damage ..
CAN ANYBODY TELL WHICH SIM SLOT THE HTC DESIRE 816 IS using like (m7, m8). , as I am not able to find a replacement part online.. can anybody know how , where to repair it ..+?:??

Will keep in mind when posting future queries.. in hope of urgent help /replies I posted it where I found suitable (Indian thread, General forum etc ))..
Hope u can understand mine frustration when the device got some problem and v can do nothing :banghead: .

It's possible to change just the sim reader for aproximately 50$

Link plz?? The htc centre care personal are asking 150$ for whole motherboard replacement. Does a hair line crack(not scratch) on screen can be replaced under warrenty.

Country?? Can u tell which sim slot htc desire 816 uses ( same as m8 or m7) so that i can order online and get it repaired locally.

Thanka bro for ur help.m glad tht u tried to search that slot. I have to visit more shops locally to repair it but they are very far away.

having same problem
Did anyone find any solution?
Sim slot 2 has been damaged.service center demans approax Rs. 10000 .
They keep my mobile 15 days but motherboard is not available.I returned my mobile.
Did any one suggest to solve it..

Hey guys, my cousin has an HTC One X he doesn't use so I want to buy it.
On the back, it says HTC One X UKR and some letters in Russia. He uses it in Croatia. I've put an american SIM card and it doesnt tell me "invalid sim." It actually even shows some sort of message from the american carrier. It shows no signal, but doesn't reject the sim...
1) Does that mean this phone is unlocked to be usable anywhere?
2) Is there some antennae difference that would make this One X not be able to be used in USA?

Hi All,
I have purchased HTC Desire 816 from EBay and it is developed for China and programmed (?) for Indian CDMA operators.
Since purchase SMS is not working on phone. Rest phone calls and data is working fine.
HTC support has asked me to contact China Support center and they only support in Chinese !!
Local HTC service center denied to handle it.
Can anyone help me to resolve the SMS issue? Is it possible or I should send back the phone to Ebay and ask for refund ?
