I have my LG G4 WIND bricked after an attempt to downgrade the firmware . I come to the problem. I own the phone in July 2015 and this phone was already in Lg for 2 months with replacement of the motherboard with change of imei because of the famous bootloop.
It seemed to go beyond that due to the fact that the usb tethering did not work when I connected it to the radio control of my drone a MIDRONE 1080p, not recognizing the connection or for brief moments and then disconnecting itself irreparably. Precisely for this reason I thought of trying a hard reset that first seemed to have repaired the tethering usb but lasted 2 days.
Expired the warranty in October i decided to update the firmware of Lg with Android 7.0 stok released in Poland, following the various sections on XDA and others.
I first rooted the phone successfully, then I installed a TWRP recovery and then flashed the firmware in a zipped version, all successfully.
Everything worked fine, the phone was fluid and always remained the problem of the first time the usb tethering above.
Suddenly I stupidly decided to downgrade the firmware to restart a firmware, this time I used the original Wind firmware the latest released in October 2016 v20j and I updated by LGUP, during the firmaware's update suddenly it stopped without going further the 9% and the screen was locked on the FIRMWARE Update and there was no way to unlock it even with other firmware tells me always invalid firmware. I took him to a laboratory in my neighborough where they made several attempts even with the boxes (but I do not know what they are) but nothing.
Now I know that it's an old phone (but I'm fond of the magnificent photos they do!) But I do not accept that some things nowadays can not be repaired (..... I'm a 50......).
Do you have any suggestions? Thank you

Search for "WindowsLGFirmwareExtract-1.2.6.1-Release" and download.
Search for "H81520p_00_0314.kdz" and download.
Extract .dz and .dll from the "H81520p_00_0314". Use both to flash with LGUP.
My advice is to unistall all the LG software on the computer, reinstall drivers and LGUP and flash it.
Good luck!
First flash H81520l_00_0124.kdz then can you your origin firmware.

Thank you very much, I used the DLL version 0.0.4.0 with the latest kdz H815V20P and it works perfectly ! :good:
For them who are facing to the same issue, here are the links :

ROM H815 20P => https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71662559&postcount=39
It was not necessary to use WindowsLGFirmwareExtract to exctract DLL and DZ from the KDZ. I just had to replace the DLL in the instalation folder of LGUP and to flash the KDZ.

Hello
I've problem with login, don't know why
No way to login, sorry for 2 registrations
I'm Ken7stars
@jellysteve
I've solved my mirrorlink problem like this
I have G4 europe H815, brand vodafone
Search in this site kdz vodafon file
There's very few files kdz vodafone, not found for italy
I find in this link posted by a great guy here
Don't know if i can post the link, i have few posts
I can't, anyway, it's the list of kdz files here on the 3d "go back to stock G4"
I've download "portugal vodafone v10b"
It'real 10b, not 10c as some called 10b
Normal flash with lg support tool
And the vodafone 10b was in my g4
Automatically i find OTA update for v10c, 330mb
After the update with ota
The problem mirror link it's solved
So, you have mirror link problem after kdz file v10d?
Or problem after OTA update v10d?
Hope i can help-)
Hi-)
Hello the mirrorlink issue is since OTA update
I found a kdz on the lg phone firmware website but the link for download doesn't work any idea ?

Hello
The link doesn't work even for me
So mirrorlink on g4 it's not easy to solve
You have international g4, so model H815?
I can't post links for now
I can't say this is the solution for you
But i solved mirrorlink in this way
Go here in the Forum at the section for G4:
G4 General- [Guide] LG G4 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock) KDZ & TOT Method by hyelton
In the middle of the post there's:" KDZ Firmware Files; HERE"
A link will open with some kdz files for G4
Download kdz before v10d
Important, your g4 is brand or no brand?
You have choose the right kdz for your G4
If you have H815 europe, try d.load these kdz file:
Europe General H81510B_00.kdz 1697378KB Jul 06 2015 04:43:29 PM
Or kdz files of your provider, if there's in list
As most of v10b kdz, it's not v10b, but v10c
Good for you 'cause you have v10d
Run lg flash tool 2014
Put kdz file
Select CSE flash
Leave all the others fields as they are
If Cse flash don't work, do normal flash
At the restart, you'll find v10c
And 99% find the Ota update for v10d
Before the Ota update do a hard reset
At the restart, run the Ota update v10d
And see if mirrorlink works
If not, with lg bridge run "fix update error"
Don't do with lg bridge the software update, this will put mirrorlink error
If you have windows 10, maybe Cse flash will not work
No prob, normal flash work back to v10b-c
Hope will work
Sorry for the long post-)
Yes I comfirm my g4 is h815 unbrand.
I found the kdz v10d for France it's my actual version.
I'm ok with the process : lg flash tool.. question if I use normal flash it's necessary to make hard reset or not.
Thanks for your help and time ?

The point is to go in downgrade, v10b or C
If you keep kdz file v10d, i think the problem remains
Your G4 is no brand, so in the link if kdz files try d.load the file kdz i've posted above
With flash tool try normal flash
So you have v10c, then accept the Ota v10d
And see if mirrorlink is solved
If not, do hard reset
Then with Lg bridge do fix errors update
I'm italian but i live in France like You
In this time is almost impossible download flash tool and drivers
Many french sites in these days have put in web around 50 virus
Keep update-)
Hello
I found V10C and I downgrade my g4 with flashtool and I make the update with lg bridge and same problem with mirrorlink
I make a hard reset and same problem I don't understand
I think i wait a new update for solve perhaps the problem.

Well mirrorlink is hard to solve
I've done the steps to solve m.link by my idea
Can't found nothing on web
I don't know if you have patience to make again all the steps
You said you update with Lg bridge after downgrade v10c
Only my opinion, this is the mistake while I'd m.link problem
I said in my previous post:"don't do with lg bridge the software update, this will put mirrorlink error"
If you want to retry
Downgrade v10c, wirh cse flash, then wait the OTA update, not update with lg bridge
The best way is downgrade v10b, like i did for vodafone
But v10b no brand kdz is hard to find
It depends what problems create m.link at your g4
If it's only the message at start, it's not bad problem
In my case, many icons of app on screen disappears
I hope is not your case
Just value the problem, only a message, it's not so bad
As you said, with a new update the problem should be solved
Hi-)
It's my guess, but i think mirrorlink problem will persist for those, who has unlocked bootloader and ignored LG warning that some apps, based on DRM will stop working

I totally agree
I'd unlocked my vodafone bootloader
And so here mirrorlink problem
It's strange that i've solved with downgrade and Ota update, but not @jellysteve case
Mirrorlink is useful if you have a modern car that fit with
If like me, i have a modern car not compatible
The error message m.link can be ignored
I must fix 'cause many icons of apps disappeared at start
But it seems icons problem, happened only for my G4!
Then, with windows 10 i can't do cse flash
So i go back to Win 7, and cse flash works
Hi-)
I started to face this problem, but my H815 fully stock, no unlocking, no rooting. And I wish it to stay that way for now... So the only solution for me is wait for LG to fix that?

no, I'm not rooted, bootloader locked. I started having this issue when I started experimenting with various apps for quick circle case.
Hello, maybe my solution will help for you too. Ive got h815, locked bootloader with low effort root.
Ive installed super manager app with root permissions. In the app go for the system folder, when you trying to enter switch system folder to r/w (the app automaticly asks it). Go to the priv-app search LgCover folder and rename the app inside of it with .bak extension. Reboot the phone.
After that repeat the process but you should remove .bak from the end of the app's name (back to the original) and reboot again. Mine started to work without any issues. I guess that will work with the mirrorlink app. Location of the app: system/app/MirrorLinkServer folder. You should do the same thing with it
Good luck
So I have a D855 16GB LG G3 running CloudyG3 2.5 and I've been trying to revert it back to stock android in order to update to Marshmallow through LGs PC Suite. I've tried following various guides to either flash a kdz or tot to android 6.0 directly. I've also tried to downgrade to a previous version of LGs stock android but they've all failed. When I tried to use LGUP from this link it discovered my phone and displayed what software it was running and such but the model section stated "unknown" which made it impossible to proceed.
I then tried the second option in that thread, flashing the kdz with the lg flash tool. That journey ended when the program stated that no device was plugged in, even though the phone was definitely plugged in and in download/firmware update mode.
The third option in the guide was to use a flashtool and flash a .TOT, but when I entered the device manager to change the com port of the LGEModem but that one didn't show up in device manager so that also failed.
I'm starting to see a connection here in that the problem lies in the connection between the phones and the pc somehow. I'm using the original usb cable if that matters. I have TWRP 2.8.6.0 installed if anyone knows how to install the stock marshmallow update using that. I found one guide but it said that it required TWRP 2.8.7+ and I'd rather not try to change it since I've had a ton of problems with different recoveries, namely being that the touchscreen doesn't work in most of them.

Hey Folks! I need help!
First sorry for my english, im from brazil.
I'm a Lawyer and i'm gonna sue LG company for a hardware problem ( SIM CARD REMOVED PROBLEM ). But my LG G3 have LG 6.0 Stock rom installed. I tried to root with King Root, it failed, but now even if i hard reset the phone it keeps installed!
(in brazil unlike USA, the company's don't support the costumer. They have given 1 year guarantee, i have the phone for 1 year and 1 month. They told can't help me but the brazilian Law says that if a unkown hardware problem appears then you have 90 days to sue the company.)
So i want to Go back to stock 4.4 ou 5.0, so if the judge need to avaliate, at least it will be known as unmodified.
When i updated to 6.0 Stock, i did with LG Flash tool 2014.
So i tried again to downgrade with LG Flash tool, but using the 20x kdz. I tried diferrent KDZ. My phone is D855P, tried D855 normal KDZ, tried 855P KDZ. but downgrade always failed " due to an error " on flash tool.
So i tried LG support Tool, gone do Download mode, but it stucks at 4%. ( and yes i tried to hard reset before starts the procedure.)
Someone can help me to unroot(i don't think is unrooted, but King root remain on the phone as a bloatware now), or return to 4.4 ou 5.0 stock?
thanks!:good:
Assuming you able to boot the phone, try to downgrade using LGUP instead lg flash tools

I was thinking about. As i already use "stock rom 6.0" and i just figured out how to uninstall "king root app". So now my Phone looks clean from bloatware. Guess now i can sue the company without being afraid of someone detect some mod on the smartphone.

Yes Work on anny Models, updated metod on post
How to update ?
Do you know how can I update my phone with the kdz file ?
This guide is to Install Firmware KDZ File on LG K10 (2017)
Your device must have 70% Of battery.
You need a Laptop or PC to perform this Action.
You should be using KDZ File.
Back Up your Data to make sure you have data’s in case if something Wrong (This Process won’t lose your data).
Make sure you have followed the steps properly. Don’t Skip and Read! – We are not responsible for any damage that you make to your Phone.
What Do You Need ?
Download: LG Flash Tool and LG UP Software.
Download: LG USB Drivers
First of all, Download all the files like KDZ Firmware, LG Drivers and also LG UP latest version.
Install LG UP exe file on your computer. LG UP Instalation
Now make sure to install the drivers if you are phone does not detect in your PC/Laptop.
Now Turn your phone off and then Hold the Volume UP key for few seconds.
While holding Volume Up key connect your phone to PC using USB Cable (Don't leave volume key while connecting)
Release the Volume UP key as soon as the phone goes into Download Mode.
Open LG UP software on your PC and Select Upgrade
Now in the Select Path, Select your KDZ file from your downloaded folder.LG UP
Once it is loaded, Click the start button down below and wait for the installation to complete. LG UP 2
Once it is completed, your phone will reboot automatically. Booting may take time. So wait patiently to complete the first booting process.
Well, That's it! You have installed Stock Firmware on LG K10 (2017) successfully.
Oreo update- how update
Everything works perfectly, to flash the rom, you have to use lg bridge and change the language from Italian to Norwegian both on the phone and on the application.
I recommend updating for a better user experience.
the security patches are from 1 August 2018 and there is the face unlock (Smart Lock).
I hope that lg brings android p on this phone and I hope to have been of help to those who had to flash the rom and had difficulty.

Historically speaking - not a chance. Look at original K10 (2016) - it had only one major update, from 6.0 to 7.1. And since that - dead. I think the same would be with this model.

First Instal Old Version and Follow New Tutorial on Post.
Hello everyone!
First of all - thanks to steadfasterX for unlocking the LG G4
PLEASE! DON'T TRY ANYTHING BELOW ON YOUR LG G4.
YOU MIGHT BRICK IT PRIOR IT NOT EVEN GOING TO QDLoader ANYMORE.
THE SOLUTIONS ABOVE IS ONLY LIMITED TO MY PARTICULAR MOTHERBOARD,
OR PERHAPS OTHER REFURBISHED MOTHERBOARDS
WHICH ARE F500L's WITH H811 FIRMWARE ON THEM.

Purchased the H811 motherboard from Aliexpress as they are pretty cheap now ($ 27). I chose H811, as it allows you to unlock the bootloader without a hassle!
Installed it and it booted up right away and it worked flawlessly except for the fact that the camera's autofocus or manual focus didn't work for some reason.
Then I went to About Phone and, to my surprise, was running an old version of Android 5.1. I decided to update it through the settings, but it refused, saying that the phone was already updated and did not need to be updated. I already had a suspicion because phones that behave this way are usually software modified. SO ... I still flashed the H811 KDZ using LGUP and .. as I thought, the phone did not boot.
After going through the pain of disabling Windows Signature Verification and installing the correct QCOM drivers, opened QFIL, loaded the Mohd Saqib 8992 firehose and XML, and when finished, the phone booted, but with a SecureBoot warning in the top left corner. As soon as it booted into Android, I was greeted with a setup menu, no cellular service, and LG VPN ANR. After going through the setup, I decided to start the camera and got slammed with another ANR. I loaded OpenCamera and that didn't work either. So I knew that this is some kind of a driver conflict or incompatibility.
I took out the motherboard and the place where the model was written was covered with some kind of sticker. (First.jpg). The sticker was so crazy glued on there that I had to use the tip of a soldering iron to soften the glue, and it's a Korean F500L. (Second.jpg).
Loaded mAid, opened SALT, and OMG! ARB of 20! (Third.png) Still, gave it a chance and downloaded F500L20p firmware, edited LG-F500L to LG-H811 using Hex Editor, and it flashed through. Obviously, It ended up in QCOM bootloader mode again. Flashed FireHose through QFIL, it turned on with the same SecureBoot error in the upper left corner. Once booted into Full Korean Android and to my surprise, there were no ANRs. Plugged in my personal sim card and it even got a cellular signal. Called my friend and it worked. The Camera also works flawlessly WITH WORKING AUTOFOCUS.
Connected it to SALT again, this time GPT is unknown. ARB is also unknown. (Fifth.jpg)
This is a miracle. After all this, the phone is still in working order. Not only did the camera regain its autofocus capabilities, but also that the ARB is set to an unbelievable number!
Thank you for reading!

UPDATE:
I went into Recovery, decided to boot into the bootloader, and it shows that Secure Boot is disabled. I flashed SKYHAWK recovery IMG and it booted! (Sixth.jpg). Flashed H811 Lineage OS and F500 baseband. Booted into LineageOS with everything working including camera, cellular, and wifi. (Seventh.jpg)

UPDATE 2:
Lineage OS 16 seems to have poor battery life. Tried to flash the F500L 20p firmware, but LGUP refused to update, claiming that the ARB of the phone is higher than the firmware. Flashed back the H81120r, followed by QFIL and it Booted up. Flashed the F500L 20p firmware again, and now, no ARB messages whatsoever.

LG UP Instructions for this particular frank motherboard:
Basically, to flash this motherboard without ARB kicking in, H81120r firmware has to be flashed via LGUP, and firehose through QFIL and android has to be booted. Once booted, the phone can now be flashed with F500L20p only.

(Hard Way) How to flash Stock Nougat:
If updating through LGUP gives out a 0x2000 error then the solution is very complicated. First, while on F500L20p, connect the phone to the PC. Open LG Bridge and let it search for updates. Once it found F500L30b, press Update and wait. It will fail. Without closing or doing anything in LG Bridge open LGUP and load in H81120r KDZ and flash. Wait for H811 firmware to load to Setup, then go to Download Mode again and Click on Retry in LG Bridge. Once finished, Flash the firehose through QFIL.
(Easy Way) How to flash Stock Nougat:
Extract .DZ file out of F300L30p KDZ file using WindowsLGFirmwareExtract. Flash .DZ file through LGUP Upgrade Option. For some reason, it works.
=================================================
In case you wonder if flashing Nougat will set the bootloader stack prior to not letting you flash H81120r anymore... not it won't. I tried flashing H81120r followed by F500L20p while being on Nougat Stack and it flashed without a problem.

Conclusion:
So... this is not H811, but it's closest to it since it lets you flash KDZ's, AOSP Roms, TWRPs, custom kernels, and Magisk, all without USU while on ARB 20. It's just that every LGUP and LG Bridge process has to be followed by QFIL.
I have no idea how this thing consumes almost all KDZ's given to it, even the ones with ARB0.
