Hi everyone, new here, and also new to android and smartwatches.
I have a Huawei watch running the latest android wear paired to an iPhone 5s with iOS 11.1.2.
I only get notifications for the Apple agenda + incoming calls. I don't receive notifications on the watch for texts, messenger etc. I have everything set to "on" in notification centre in the iPhone's settings. Am I forgetting something or is this a common problem?
Regards
Levi

update: Got it working now, fiddling around with the settings in notification centre. Notifications have to be set to permanent in order to work properly, I guess.
You did install the Android Wear app on your iPhone, right?

Yes
Can you elaborate in the settings you changed in the notification center? What do you mean by "notifications have to be set to permanent"? Are you talking about the banner settings in the Notification settings for Android wear? I can not get any notifications to come through to my watch. I have the Huawei watch 1 with iphone 6s on ios 11.2.5.

Hi All,
I've been a long-time user of Samsung wearables and I know that ALWAYS I've gotten all incoming call notifications not matter where it comes from.....until now.
I have had my Galaxy Watch paired with my stock standard Galaxy S7 Edge phone for around 4 months now and I've noticed I never get a notification/vibration when an incoming Whatsapp call is ringing on my phone. The same goes for Skype calls. Instead, my watch just notifies me I've just missed the call after the caller gives up.
Normal telephone calls work as you would expect.
This was never a problem for me with the previous Samsung smartwatches I've owned.
I took both devices to Samsung in Hamburg and I took it to Samsung in Australia twice and they couldn't help me at all... The manufacturer of both devices are clueless and sent me away with no way of fixing it.
Anyone here noticed this able to help?
probably you already did it but if not, you should open the galaxy wearable app, go to setting -> notifications -> manage notifications and enable the apps you need.

Your right, I have done that. I've tried all sorts of stuff.
Samsung also have had my watch three times now and also couldn't get it to work. Their reply after testing it and seeing for themselves, 'no remedy'. My reply, 'yes remedy, full refund'. Their reply, 'no remedy, no refund, here is your watch'. Me, 'NSW Fair Trading complaint then' (I live in NSW, Australia).
Just out of interest, are you getting notified of all incoming calls on Whatsapp, Skype etc. on your watch?

Incoming calls whatsapp with s8+ not working for me with pie cause authentication for call notification is quiet and not changeable. In my opinion that's the problem why you get message notifications but no call notifications. I wished it would get a mod.

Are you getting any alert at all? Like just a phone icon without phone number?
Since Pie came out, I am getting a phone icon at first, then if I tap the button while the phone is ringing, then the Caller ID shows. I'm sure this is for privacy, but I liked it better when I could see the caller without having to press a button.
My problem is sms notifications. I am no longer getting them. Didn't happen when I upgraded to Pie though, I think it happened after updating to the latest version of the Mi Fit app.

Now all features are working for me,
I can no longer read message on my Mi Band 3.
it only says "Here is a new message from [sender]"
i cannot read the actual message on my band.
i have paired it with Mix 3, on global beta rom based on android 9
can anybody share if they're the same?
Hello all,
I think what I'm trying to do may be impossible but unsure.
I have a Huawei P30 Pro and a galaxy LTE 46mm.
Wherever my phone is connected to Bluetooth with the watch, all my text and call notifications come through fine. Whenever connected over a network, sending and receiving calls works fine, however I can't receive texts. I can send them through the watch built in messaging app but if someone responds the watch isn't notified while the phone is.
I am using numbershare if that matters at all.
I think the problem is that I'm not using Samsung's own messaging app myself but not sure. I've downloaded an APK for it but it won't launch anyway.
Thanks!

Nevermind figured it out. Had to enable the sync with Samsung account feature in the wear app
Glad you got it sorted! My texts work stand alone or with my OnePlus 7pro.

It's a known issue for years now. Samsung tries to pull the wool over your eyes when you talk to them about it. They tried to gaslight me about it but after I hit them with facts they just refused to acknowledge it.

I want to ask is samsung galaxy active 2 shows written notification from whatsapp, messanger, snap, imo?
And calls from these apps apeears in watch or not?
Last question is samsung active 2 able to reply calls voice from these app specially facebook messanger?
I hope help from you
These notifications are shown whenever your watch ist connected to your phone which has these apps installed.
App calls are not available, only phone calls (LTE model is also capable of standalone calls).

Only phone needs to have the apps installed. The watch can show any notification independent of the app, the app does not need to be installed on the watch.
Even though you cannot answer app calls on the watch, you'll get notified of missed calls als long as the phone app shows a notification about the missed calls (most apps do).
