Hello,
I recently found the need for a shutter release for my Canon T2i. I was wondering if any super genius has come up with anything to let you use your Windows Phone as a shutter release.
I did a quick search on Google and these forums and only found something for IR control. I have an HD2, and don't think it has any IR functionality.
Does anyone know of anything like this, something that might work?
Hi guys, does anybody know if there's any applications available for a camera timer? I'm using an Omnia 7 and it's becoming a bit of a glaring omission, so it'd be great if there was an app for it, and I certainly wouldn't mind paying. Thanks!
don't believe so at present. i haven't fiddled with the camera API, but from what i'm aware it just launches the camera application and requires the end user to capture the image. a homebrew solution might be possible, but nothing has come around as of yet.
Hello everyone.
As a user of iPhones before, i liked a split-focus function (this is when you have separate points for focus and exposure).
On android side, i can't find an app with this functionality.
Camera FV-5 listed this function, but it's not working, and UI is pretty ugly.
Have any of you know good apps with this function?
Or G3 doesn't support it?
Sincerely,
Sergei
Hi! Does anybody know app with something like 'aperture mode' (just like i huawei P9). I love G4's camera and I wannna have something like that in it
Is there any app that allows doing that photos?
Or maybe it would be....
Afterfocus app is the closest alternative.
Yeah I had afterfocus and google camera also, but I'd like to have sth bettet (like in p9)
Not possible without dual cameras.
But p9 doesnt use two cameras. One camera is monochromatic and only for it. This bokeh is by application and i'm searching sth like this. Iphone 7 have two cameras with various focal length
Depth of field (bokeh) can only be simulated by dual cameras in a smartphone or macro shots.
I owned Huawei P9, it would not simulated DOF if one of the two cameras were covered. Same is for iPhone 7 Plus.
But p9 havent got various focal lenght in its cameras, am I right?
Majority, almost all smartphone cameras have fixed focal length. So does P9.
DOF can be achieved naturally by variable focal lengths (like DSLR lens), or artificially by using dual cameras with fixed variable lengths. However, dual cameras DOF is fake software blur.
Thank You, now i undertstood
Anyway, have You tested google camera app? Therr is a aperture effect. It's really interesting but not good enough
I tried Google camera app and its blur effect long ago, it worked alright, but nowadays, i cannot find Google camera in play store.
Right, there is no google camera in play store directly but You can find it in official site

Hello, i'm fairly new to smart watches but i have a question.
I want to use the smart watch as a remote for my mobile phone camera ( huawei mate 20 x) but every remote app i find for the watch have an "own camera app".
is there anything where i can control the shutter of the actual internal huawei camera app?
Try Camera Remote (formerly Wrist Camera) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kemasdimas.wristcamera&hl=en it works perfect for me on Samsung smartphone and does not have its own Android camera. First 7 minutes trial.
Not sure if you picked one already, but after I've tryed both Wrist Camera and Camera One I've decided to go with camera one since it has more options and was even a bit cheaper. It also comes with IIRC 1h free trial.
Just be advised to buy it from PLAY STORE (IAP) + Camera One Companion and not the Camera Gear Paid from Galaxy Store.
As the developer answered me by email, the Camera One has more options (!?!?).
