Hi guys, does anybody know if there's any applications available for a camera timer? I'm using an Omnia 7 and it's becoming a bit of a glaring omission, so it'd be great if there was an app for it, and I certainly wouldn't mind paying. Thanks!
don't believe so at present. i haven't fiddled with the camera API, but from what i'm aware it just launches the camera application and requires the end user to capture the image. a homebrew solution might be possible, but nothing has come around as of yet.

I want to be able to take a high resolution picture from within a .Net application. I don't want to use the Camera Dialog as that's an external dialog to my app. I have seen a software that has done something similar, so I know it is possible. Here is the link to the site

I guess they use the proprietary camera api of the manufacturer. I currently use HTC Tilt as my testing device and it's difficult to get it from them.
Is there anyway round this? I have also tried DirectShow, however the resolution is poor. Is there an HACK out there?
I primarily code in C#, so if anyone can help, I'll be grateful.
HTC closing their devices from default windows use by interfaces.
By quering windows camera device we have only 160x120 res with 10 fps, but closed HTC camera drivers have full usage.
Fix is only hacking htc drivers
HELLO MY FRIENDS I FOUND THAT SITE AND I WAS THINKING WHAT AN IDEA IT WOULD BE TO CREATE NOW FOR OUR PHONES A 3D ENVIRONMENT TO BE ......LOOK AT THIS DEVELOPERS AND THINK SOMEONE SOMETHING SMART...........http://www.utah3d.net/pages/more_panoramas.html#
WHAT DO YOU SAY??????????
This looks great, its along the lines of the 'gigapixel' images you find on the net.
I think any app that uses the camera in an interesting way is a great bit of software, I just with there was more out there. I still luv playing with panorama image with our cameras
for sure its a good idea, but in reality you get much better results making a panorama using photoshop than using the phone panorama function.
PS
Your CAPS LOCK key is at the bottom left of your keyboard
Has anyone seen videos like this before: click?
Obviously it couldnt be recreated without their special camera, I just thought it was a cool technology.
you guys see this? http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=11864
Hello,
I recently found the need for a shutter release for my Canon T2i. I was wondering if any super genius has come up with anything to let you use your Windows Phone as a shutter release.
I did a quick search on Google and these forums and only found something for IR control. I have an HD2, and don't think it has any IR functionality.
Does anyone know of anything like this, something that might work?
I'm running Cyanogenmod 10 now, but I really don't like the Android 4.1 (nor 4.2) camera app.
The 4.1 camera wastes a whole lot of viewfinder space for the on-screen capture button, while the 4.2 camera only does pictures up to 8 megapixels and it crashes when tapping the screen while recording videos (probably due to the Xperia S being unable to do touch-focus in video mode)
Therefore I'd like to know what the best, most functional camera app of the moment is, for Android.
I'd like to be able to take both stills and videos with the same app, as well as being able to switch scene modes and use other common settings.
And more importantly, it has to look right. I want to be able to access everything I need quickly and it should feel as if it were a stock app.
If anyone could help me and probably others too, It'd be greatly appreciated. :good:
Stock camera.
Maybe Lg Camera.

Hey there!
I have a problem that I'm sure you have it too. Which is in some apps such as Path, YouNow, and Glide when I open the front camera, the resolution of the vedio or the picture looks SO BAD! Not like the camera app or Snapchat camera!
Please if you have the solution tell me!
Anyone please?
I would assume that it is per app based. Doubt it is device or firmware specific, try searching through the application settings or contacting the developers specifically. Instagram for example has a setting that says something along the lines of advanced image processing or some bs and it makes the pictures look like horse crap. Look for something like that in the specific apps.
