Coolpad Torino (R108) / Coolpad note 3s

Hello
Recently bought this phone, so i open this therad to change knowledge.
Does anyone know if there are any alternative roms, custom recovery, unlocked bootloader.
I'm on version v048 and i rooted it with kingroot. After that i replaced kingroot with Supersu and allready installed Xposed, but some modules don't work 100% like Gravitybox.
If someone has more infos about this phone, please write it on this thread.

Hello, I can't use snapchat!?

Okay, i fix the snapchat issues.
I have problems with magisk that don't work, actually it doesn't show me that there is a root.
But still i use the gapps without magisk! Everything seems working so far! Pretty happy about that ROM !

Nope, it is like they're totally different phones. I remember someone here tried to put a ROM for the 17s in the 17 bricking it

Hi, how did you fixed this issue
Edit: i got snapchat working
1: Uninstall magisk
2: Install Island (Cant post links, it is from Oasis Feng you can find it on play store)
3: Clone Snapchat
4: Open cloned app and log in
I am using snapchat version 10.35.5.0

my device does not work with magisk either, i need to reflash the update package 524, but now, i have a big problem with battery drain, is too fast

After reinstall the update 5 times and do a factory reset 3 times, the battery drain has stopped

Yes, it works. You just need to be on a 64bits rom, install magisk, and install magisk module called "Arcore/playground Patcher" and guala!
Now I'm able to take pictures on AR+ in Pokemon go.

Both Yahfy and Sandhook? I believe if magisk is working there edxposed should work.

magisk works fine but downloading and flashing riru core and edxposed causes bootloop

Changing tha build.prop right makes magisk works in general mode and not only in core so with dis modules works right? Im going to order tha phone by tomorrow on Aliexpress... I cant wait to own one!

yeah, right! Magisk and modules work fine in general mode. as well as the Fingerprint sensor.

But edxposed and riru core will not work if you flash them on same time,

Nah.... installing riru core and riru edxposed one after another will still causes bootloop. doesn't matter if you reboot before the installation of edxposed or maybe it's a bug in ColorOS

Just tried flashing Gapps 10 pico with FKM, failed due to insufficient storage in /system. Does anybody know how to properly create the gapps-config and only install the core packages?
Rom is quite nice, If only we can get gapps working

Tried it, the app only lets you install up to android 7. though we would still have the problem of system partition not being big enough.

Don't even attempt to do anything with this. This is because of Androids 10 new partitioning system.
/system is permanent read only and there's nothing you can do about.
The ROM developer has to compile the ROM with gapps included, otherwise there is no way to get them.

Get the boot image and patch it with magisk manager, then flash it.
That should work.

I have tried to the boot image that is unpacked when you run payload dumper, but every time i flash it it wont boot and there no Havoc boot animation.
Any ideas?

I like it a lot, didn't have time to do much testing but they did a great job of integrating device-specific settings like the 90hz option. fingerprint functionality is 50/50 but I'm sure that can be improved. I flashed back to AOSIP for now as my daily driver but so far this is promising.
